2:55 Wolverhampton: Come On Blue Chip 1pt win 14/1 Stan James There is quite a difference between the all weather tracks and Come On Blue Chip's all three wins have come here, in fact he has not won anywhere else. Paul D'Arcy has booked Michael Murphy who is one from two for the yard to take off a handy five pounds to leave Come On Blue Chip off effectively 85. Come On Blue Chip should be competitive from a mark like that, especially here.

Flat Racing Saturday 9th March 2:20 Wolverhampton - Docofthebay - 1pt EW 18/1 Bet365 Taking a big chance on this horse today, who went off 5/1 joint 2nd favourite in this race last year, finishing 5th but wasn't disgraced rated 103 that day and 87 that day, not a handicap today but considering this horse was rated that high only a year ago and doesn't look to be on the wain (won last time out at Southwell and went close at Lingfield a few runs back) this horse is slightly overpriced for me. In the 2011 running of this race when trained by Dandy Nicholls my selection went close, half a length 2nd at 14/1 and considering he's only had two runs at Wolverhampton it seems he handles it fine and can hopefully outrun his big odds today for a stable who's runners are running very creditably of late.
