The first European Tour event of the year takes place this weekend. Sadly there is no TV or internet coverage of the event but the live scoring systems and platforms like twitter give enough information out for us a guage who is going well and who isn't. 64 players head to Minehead for a frenetic weekend. Draw and schedule of play can be found here: http://www.pdc.tv/european-tour/article/7w2i6y6dkkc71rampz9oyh1ut/title/uk-masters-schedule-of-play

Re: UK Masters 8-10 Mar Tournament preview: 1pt ew R.Thornton to win UK Masters 22/1 Blue Square One man who will go down to Minehead in good form is Robert Thornton. We’ve seen his excellent darts in the Premier League and he should be full of confidence going into this tournament. He is in the quarter of the draw without any of the big hitters which is a positive and while Dave Chisnall is a potential quarter final opponent you wouldn’t give the Thorn no chance there. Although a tough test would probably make itself known in the semi final we would be one win away from an each way payout by then so I think the in form Scot is worth backing this weekend.
