VIP Elite status on Betfair was a gimmick for February... With regards to 'VIP Elite' status on Betfair, it appears to me like this is a level that has been created for February, never to be used again. Probably only benefit has been tonight's tournament for those lucky enough to have been made VIP Elite, and to realise it. http://poker1.betfair.com/promotion/vip_club Looking through the link above - the regular VIP freerolls give eligibility to different levels, up to 9* - not the 10*s that Elite level have. Also the eligibility requirements to attain Elite status going forward look pretty unrealistic (10,000,000 VPPs in a month!!!! - as opposed to 0, 20, 100, 500, 1500, 4000, 10000, 20000 and 65000 for the preceding levels. Obviously nobody is going to attain Elite status ever again - and cashout protocol gives differing levels of redemption ratios depending on your level (from 220 VPPs per $ at level 3, to 65 VPPs at level 9) - with 'VIP Elite' level not being eligible to turn VPPs into cash, as have not levels 1 & 2!! Obv a safeguard in case somebody decided to really grind this month on the back of VIP Elite status and sting them at a declared rate of 50 VPPs per $ for instance.
