mikoo1992
Hello, I am just new the forum, I have decided to post my daily selections and ante posts picks in this area. Although I am a fan of most areas of racing, a large proportion of my bets will be on national hunt racing. I will start posting my daily selections from tomorrow, however first I will post two anteposts bets I placed this morning. Anyone feedback would be appreciated, cheers. 2013 Cheltenham Gold Cup £5 win Bobs Worth: 5/1 (Betfred) Before yesterday, Bobs Worth was original not my pick for the Gold Cup next year, however, I was really taken by his performance at Newbury. Although not travelling perfectly the whole way round he showed he was the class horse in the field on ground which arguable he wasn't totally suited by. 5/1 may be too short for some with next years Gold Cup already looking extremely competitive with some good Irish raiders and the likes of Long Run and Silvianco Conti in the mix. But, I fully believe come next March at Cheltenham, a course he has won at, the previous two festivals he is the horse to beat. Aslong as 5/1 continues to be availavle on Bobs Worth I will continue to invest gradually. 2012 King George VI Chase £5 win Grands Crus: 12/1 (Betfred) The second ante post bet I placed today has form ties to Bobs Worth, the horse is David Pipe's Grands Crus. The way Grands Crus won the Feltham last year on boxing day is one that will not forgot anytime soon. Not only was he visually very impressive but the form of the race is water tight. 2nd place in the race, Silvianco Conti has since won more than once, including the Betfair Chase this season and 3rd place Bobs Worth has since won the RSA Chase (beating Grands Crus) and the Hennessy this season. SInce then, Pipe's horse has had two poor runs. However, I am willing to forgive both of these. He did not handle the Cheltenham Hill, and I believe he is at his best on flat track courses such as Kempton. Also a breathing problem was found after his most recent run, where he was a well beaten favourite. If he has managed to overcome his problems I fully believe he will go close come on Boxing Day. 12/1 is a massive price for a horse who clearly loves Kempton. -£10 Cheers. :p
