TazaD
Collingwood OUT: Buckley, Didak, Caracella, Lockyer....Nothing too major I guess, but Richmond will definately be keen to win this game. They plan to rotate a different captain each game, so from that point alone I guess we can assume they want to play as many as they can! (ie. keep winning). They have a new coach, and will want to put a horrible 2004 behind them as soon as possible. Malthouse (Collingwood coach) has a horrible pre-season record....Definately like Richmond to win this one.
TazaD
Re: AFL Pre-season (Wizzard Cup) Week 1. Kangaroos WIN (2.30) Wrong team favoured here, due to Geelong's strong season last year, and the expectation that the Kangaroos will struggle this season. Kanga's have great h2h record, winning 8 of the last 10, and losing last year by 10 points as big underdogs @ Geelong. This game will be played at Canberra (their home away from home), a ground where the Kangaroos have won 8/12. Geelong, on the other hand, have lost their last 12 interstate games!, dating back to 2002. (inc a loss to the Kangaroos @ Canberra in 2003). As usual, the Kangaroos will be taking this game very seriously. Geelong will be missing 5 of their best 22 players. There is also rain about which will favour the gritty Kangaroos. Great value for a win here.
