The A's and the Rangers have met 14 times this season, and have combined for 10 or more runs on just 2 of those meetings. Add to that the A's are pitching Jarrod Parker, who only ceded 1 hit, a lead off single in the 8th, on his last meeting with Texas. Then consider that the Rangers send Martin Perez to the mound, with the rookie gaining his first career win v the A's in June when giving up just 2 runs in 5 1/3 innings. Everything points to this being a tense, tight, affair between 2 sides who need the win, and I could easy see this going to extra innings after a 2-2 / 3-3 type game.

Instead of 2 out of 14 times the two teams have combined for less than 10 runs it is now 3 out of 15, but still - value to be had imo (til I am down 8pts in 2 nights from them :lol)
