NFL: Week Three picks

There's a few that seem 'too obvious' this week to me - as in, if something looks too good to be true it normally is :unsure One for now Lions (-6.5) 1pt @ 2.25 Bet365 The Titans have put up similarly poor performances in losing to the Patriots and the Chargers by 20pts+ so far, and things will not get any easier when Matt Stafford and the Lions' offensive weapons roll into town. Stafford would be included in the group of QBs just behind Rodgers, Brady, Brees by most people, and of course has Megatron to throw too. The talent doesn't end there though, with Burleson, Young, Pettigrew all effective receivers, whilst Kevin Smith can expect a lot more joy on the ground this week than he got against the 49ers last week, and Leshoure should be on the scene this week after suspension. Tennessee have shipped 30+ points in both games so far, and there's no reason to expect to the Lions to fail to match that. Whilst offensively the Titans have managed 2 x TDs and 3 x FGs in total over the 2 games, CJ2k is running like the 2011 version not the prior version, Kenny Britt saw only 19 snaps in Week 2, Nate Washington missed the entirety of last week's practice with a calf injury and caught only 3 passes between them in Week 2. Even if Britt sees considerably more snaps in Week 3, I can't see the Titans putting up enough points with CJ2k in the form he is in and Locker under centre to trouble the Lions. I see this being a 34-16 type game, but am settling for just needing the TD win.

Carolina Pick (+100) to bet 1 unit @ 5dimes The Giants defense hasnt looked real good to start the season. While Carolina got there running game going last week and $Cam looked pretty good. Could be a shootout, being at home, I like the Panthers to win. Dolphins +3 (-120) to win 1 unit @ 5dimes From what I saw last week, the Jets first week against the Bills was not doing something thats going to continue to happen. Sanchez looked as bad as I've ever seen him. I think we might see Tebow throw the ball in this game if this continue. Tannehill looked much better last week, hopefully Bush can help carry the load again.
