PLUS – Genting Poker Series (GPS seats) and sponsorship now being given away for MONTHLY winners (and monthly runner ups) too!!! The Hendon Mob Forum League IX starts on Tuesday October 2nd 2012, and will run every Tuesday at 8pm UK time until April 30th 2013. There will be a play-off tournament on Tuesday May 7th 2013 and the league loyalty freeroll will run on Wednesday May 8th 2013. Around half the tournaments will be No Limit Hold'em, with a variety of Stud and Omaha games to enjoy as well. If we can we may include a Zoom event too! As with League VIII every point will count for those making the play-off. Each point As always there are great prizes on offer. Remember ALL these prizes are ADDED and all entry fees are paid out as prize money in the normal way each week. $4000 2013 World Series of Poker* package for the winner Second $4000 2013 World Series of Poker* package for the play-off winner $2000 Palm Beach Big Game package for the League Loyalty champion. $500 in the prize pool in the League Loyalty Freeroll $1000+ worth of bounty prizes on The Mob and special guest bounties. Additionally, $500 will be added to the prize pool in the League Loyalty Freeroll. No cash awards will be made as an alternative. Alternative packages of equal or greater value may be substituted at Genting/The Hendon Mob's discretion. It is the individual winner's responsibility to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. It is the winners' responsibility to book all travel and accommodation. By entering the Hendon Mob Forum League players agree that, should they win a package, their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes by Genting Poker and/or The Hendon Mob, and they will wear apparel (hats, t-shirts, badges etc.) provided to them by Genting Poker/The Hendon Mob. Awarding of any and all prizes is at the sole discretion of Genting Poker and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final. Subject to the provisions of rule 5 above, the winner of the play-off final can not sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer such seat to another person, and Genting Poker will not award cash in lieu. Bounty prizes (refunded entry fees, or Hendon Mob cards/lapel badge) will only be awarded to players who have posted in the official forum thread (which will all be hosted at http://www.thehendonmob.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1) each particular tournament. This can not be done retrospectively! Anyone who knocks out a bounty player that has not posted in the official thread on that day will NOT get a reward and the post must be made BEFORE the bounty is won. Bounties do not affect your league standings in any way. Genting Poker/The Hendon Mob management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the competition and/or play-off final tournaments at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard will be in good faith, but are final. Players must be of legal age (18, or older depending on your jurisdiction) to participate in any of the tournaments. Genting Poker/The Hendon Mob shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting a Package and participating in the WSOP* or Palm Beach Big Game. Not all players were affected by the issues but whatever happened running the event tonight, if it was possible, would definitely have prejudiced some players. We talked about moving everything back one week but the problem with that would be the monthly prizes and the fact that the playoffs would all be that much further back and closer to the WSOP which was not ideal. We have decided to run tonight's tournament next Tuesday (23rd October) at the same time as the scheduled PLO six max. So you get to play TWO league events at once At least it's not PLO and PLO hilo together AND Genting are going to ADD $500 EXTRA to each of these two events to try and compensate for tonight's nightmare.
