Verlander came out on top at Comerica last week, 4-2, but then turned in a below par effort in a 1-6 loss in LA at the weekend - all 6 runs were on him, including 4 in the 1st. Sale shook off the L to the Tigers with a solid W over Kansas City yielding just 1 ER in 6 innings, and is 8-0 in his last 9 starts at US Cellular for an ERA of 1.20.
