Resting my hopes on the 2 'powerhouses' from the AL East tonight, who are both dogs and available at bigger prices than I think they should be. Yankees (-1.5) 1pt @ 3.65 Bet365 Yes, Verlander is an ace, but the Yankees have the bats to get to him make no mistake. They're 2.61 on the m/l, but I am selling an extra run for over a point more return. It certainly isn't that I expect Nova to best Verlander, just that, as I say, the Yankees have the offense to win against any pitcher, ace or not, and I think the price underestimates their chance. Red Sox (-1.5) 1pt @ 3.60 Bet365 The Red Sox are almost 7/5 at home to Darvish who is not having a very good 2nd half to the season. Similarly to the Yankees above, the Red Sox do, though they often don't show it, have the offense to pummel any pitcher around Fenway Park. As already said, Darvish hasn't been great recently, and he hasn't been as good on the road as he has at home. Two big prices for 2 big teams to win by 2 or more I think.
