Caulfield Catch Place a Fixed Odds or LuxDiv WIN bet on Race 3 at Caulfield (Sat, 28 July 2012) and if your selection comes second and the SP favorite wins, Luxbet will give you a Bonus Bet equal to your stake, up to $100. Morphettville Increasing showers will be expected at Morphettville's weather on Saturday's race. Morphettville featured race for Saturday is the Lightning Stakes 1050m which will start at 3:40pm. This race is a Listed; Set Weight for 2YO and 3YO open race, the winner will receive $80,000 and a $400 trophy. Platelet, winner of the Listed Monash Stakes will be one of the acceptances in this race. This talented filly by Strategic was trained by Darren Weir from Ballarat and has a record of 5 wins and 6 placing from her 12 starts to date, also this filly have a minimum win distance of 1000m and a maximum win distance of 1200m. Ridden by Damien Lane, Platelet will start in barrier 3 in a full field of 13 runners. Also in this race are, Le Societe trained by Peter Moody, Vatican, Avoid the Lightning, Comearoundsundown, Demasheen, Diamond Earth, Draw Forward, Secret Status, Fear the Faith, Silent Stash and Natural Disaster. Warwick Farm Weather will be improving at Warwick Farm especially on Saturday's event. Warwick Farm featured race for Saturday is the Share Care Winter Challenge 1600m which will start at exactly 3:25pm. The race is a listed, quality handicap race for 3 years old and upward and the Apprentices cannot claim. The winner of this race will receive $60,000, in this race is Gai Waterhouse trained horse King Lionheart. Impressive mare Irish Dream will also be in this race, Irish Dream thrilled the race goers by winning her last race. She came from behind and won the race by a nose against See the World. Australian Star and Hendricus are scratched in the race.
