Re: Irish Open June 28th - July 1st *George Coetzee e/w @ 50/1 Paddy Power - 6 places* Has had a decent year, he played in the US Open without playing very well, but he played in it nonetheless, and this is what we would call a big drop down in class! He was 14th in Wales, 21st in the BMW PGA Championship, 7th in the Ballantine's and 4th in China, so has been playing well. He was also 5th in Dubai and 6th in Abu Dhabi. He finished 2nd at Gleneagles last year, he is a very talented golfer and although there are a few good golfer's like McIlroy and McDowell etc playing, it lacks in terms of strength of depth, and with 6 places he is worth a bet for me. *Richie Ramsay e/w @ 100/1 Bet365 - 6 places* He has won on tour already which is a plus, and he did finish 2nd in the Ballantine's this year, so he could be overpriced at 100/1. He finished 9th in the Irish Open in 2010, although a different course, he did perform well here on the Green Isle before. His only win came in the South African Open in 2010, i have watched him play and he is decent off the tee, hits a great iron, and hopefully if the putter is on song, he may have a chance. *Steve Webster e/w @ 150/1 Bet365 - 6 places* Caught me eye in the BMW last week where he had his best performance of the year by a long shot, finishing in 18th place shooting -6. He is not a very well known golfer, but he has won 2 european tour events, Italian Open in 2005 and an event in Portugal in 2007. The fact he looks to be coming into a bit of form, along with the price-tag, has urged me to back him with the 6 places on offer.
