Matt Stout On Sunday, the 2012 World Series of Poker kicked off Event #33: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em with 2,795 players. That field was reduced down to just 231 players in 11 levels of play, all of who returned to action on Day 2. Steinberg bested 2,779 other players and walks away with $440,238. Steinberg will also receive his first World Series of Poker bracelet.
