Not been looking at the MLB recently, been using my time to get some rest ahead of very late nights (for the UK) watching the Celtics in their Eastern Conference series v the Heat :cry Anyway: Marlins (-1.5) 1pt @ 3.10 Bet365 Was leaving this one alone, both teams are in slumps, Beckett and Johnson are having similar seasons, they had similar lto performances, too tight to call as evidenced by the moneyline odds of 1.92 and 1.96 (with Bet365). Then I saw the handicap lines - Red Sox -1.5 is 2.55 and Marlins -1.5 is 3.10! Feels like that Marlins price is too big, and I've been persuaded to have a nibble, even if it is against 'my team'. 2012 record: 41-56 (+12.005)
