Re: MLB: May 6th 2012 Picks Cincinnati -1.5 @ 2.30 pinnacle Latos is 1-2, with a 5.97 ERA and has alternated good and bad performances, so after allowing 5 runs on 10 hits in the 6-5 win over Houston, then like him to bounce back here with another solid start. He has gone 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA in 3 starts against Pittsburgh and has pitched well in May, going 7-3 with a 2.41 ERA in 12 starts in this month. Morton is 1-2, with a 4.22 ERA and he too is coming off a poor last start, allowing 6 runs on 8 hits in the 10-7 loss at St. Louis. He has allowed just 1 run in each of his two home starts and has gone 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA in his last 5 starts against Cincinnati, but a number of the Reds bats have hit him reasonably well and like them to score some runs off him St Louis -1.5 @ 2.15 pinnacle Wainwright is 1-3, with a 6.75 ERA but his best two starts of his five starts have been on the road where he allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in the 6-0 loss at Milwaukee and then gave up 1 run on 6 hits in the 3-2 loss in Chicago. Against Houston, he has gone 9-1 with a 1.56 ERA, so like him to do well once again, against them. Happ is 2-1, with a 4.60 ERA as he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks in the 6-3 win over the NY Mets. He is 1-6 with a 6.44 ERA against St Louis, and lost all four of his starts against them last season. Like the Cardinals to avoid the sweep here San Francisco -1.5 @ 2.71 pinnacle Cain is 1-2, with a 2.35 ERA as he is coming off allowing both runs in the 2-1 loss at home to Miami. They are the only runs he has allowed in 3 home starts this season, and though he has gone 2-5 with a 4.70 ERA against Milwaukee, there are several of their bats who are injured and he will not face them. Marcum is 1-1, with a 3.19 ERA as he allowed just 3 hits in the 2-0 loss to San Diego, with his bullpen undoing his good work. He went 1-1 with a 4.85 ERA in 2 starts against San Francisco last season and like the Giants here to win here Philly -1.5 @ 2.77 pinnacle Hamels is 3-1, with a 2.78 ERA as he has allowed 2 runs or less in his last 4 starts with the Philly's winning each of these games. Also his last 3 starts have been on the road as he has been given some good run support in these games. Hamels has gone 10-4 with a low 2.71 ERA against Washington and like him to do well again here. Zimmerman is 1-2, with a 1.89 ERA and after allowing 1 run in each of his first 4 starts, he is coming off allowing 4 runs on 8 hits in the 5-1 home loss to Arizona. He has gone 0-2 with a 6.60 ERA in 3 starts against the Phillies, and like them to hit him again here Record: 43-71 (-11.01)
