15.15 Kempton: Right Stuff, 7/1 Paddy Power, 1pt win Right Stuff was narrowly beaten lto out in his first race after a three month break. That was run over twelve furlongs and he steps back up in trip to two miles which will suit. He was second in this race last year and in the last race before his break he won over c&d. That race produced two nto winners and one other subsequent winner. He is at his highest ever a/w mark but he should be able to go close, having ran well from three pounds less lto. Jockey Ryan Moore has a decent record on the a/w at Kempton with a 17% strike rate over the last five years and he has a good record with the trainer.

BBOTD - Sat 7 Apr Mister Manannan - 2.45 Mus (1pt win 11-1 BET365 BOG) On official ratings three horses hold a clear advantage over the rest of the field. However, Borderlescott is now ten years old and didn't show much on his reappearabce, while Hamish McGonagall and Captain Dunne both represent Tim Easterby, whose horses have looked like they need a run so far this season. I'm going to plump for Mister Manannan from the in-form Dandy Nicholls yard. This one finished last season in decent form and has won fresh before (a Listed race in April 2010). After reaching a mark of 106 he raced at Meydan early in 2011 and it may be that took the sharpness out of him for the 2011 season, so he could do better this year.
