Re: MLB: June 3rd picks Texas -1.5 @ 2.55 pinnacle Ogando is 5-0, with a low 2.33 ERA as he has allowed 2 runs or less in 8 of his 10 starts. Like him to bounce back after allowing 5 runs on 7 hits in the 7-6 win over Kansas, and with their bats hitting well, like them to continue their good form in Cleveland where they have won 8 of their last 9 games there. They face Masterson who is 5-3, with a 3.07 ERA and he is 0-3 with a 5.19 ERA in his last 4 starts, as he allowed all 7 runs in the 7-0 loss to Tampa Bay. He has not fared well against Texas, where he had a 7.15 ERA in losing both of his starts last year. NY Mets -1.5 @ 3.09 pinnacle Niese is 4-5, with a 3.92 ERA but has been very good at home where he is 3-0 with a 1.73 ERA in his last 4 starts there. He allowed 1 run in the 9-5 win over the Phillies and like him to do well here, where the Braves bats are not hitting all that well. Lowe starts for Atlanta and he is 0-1 with a 5.64 ERA in his last 4 starts, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits and 5 walks in the 7-6 win over Cincinnati on Saturday. He faces a Mets lineup that has scored at least 7 runs in 3 of their last 5 games, and like them to hit Lowe especially if he continues to walk the batters Houston -1.5 @ 2.88 pinnacle Happ is 3-6, with a 4.66 ERA but with some more run support his record would be better, given that he has a 2.65 ERA in his last 3 starts, as he allowed 1 run on 2 hits but the bullpen stuffed up, and Houston lost 4-3 to Arizona. With just 6 runs on support in these games, expect the Astros, given the way they have been hitting lately, like him to get some runs here from his bats as they have scored 29 runs in winning their last 4 starts, all on the road. Happ allowed 4 runs in the 4-2 loss to San Diego on April 15th this year bur did not allow a run in his only start in San Diego in 2009. San Diego have scored just 15 runs in their last 9 gamesand their pitcher Moseley is 1-6, with a 3.18 ERA and is 0-3 with a 5.47 ERA in his last 5 starts. He allowed 3 runs in the 5-4 win at Washington and lost his only start against Houston in April, where the Astros won 1-0. Houston is hitting much better these days and like them to give Happ some runs here. June picks: 1-4 (-2.79) May picks: 31-73 (-30.18) April picks: 45-56 (+2.52)
