The Rectifier 6.40 Windsor 20-1 Bet365 (BOG) Each Way 1/4 odds 1-2 Has raced once this season and led for a long way before fading and finishing last, reportedly in need of that run and should expect some improvement here. Goes well on good to firm, course and distance winner and the make all tactics could work well here as they did when it won here in a Listed race, rated 102. It's now rated 104 and has work to do with favourite Side Glance, rated 113 but that one looks short enough despite it's impressive victory last time out. Also ran from the front at Sandown and was just touched off by Fallen Idol, possibly playing for 2nd place only if the fav is good enough but at 1/4 odds 1-2 I'll take it each way and hope it can lead pillar to post.

Re: BBOTD - Mon 9th May 3.50 Redcar Frognal win 9/2 William Hill Frognal hails from the in form Ruth Carr stable and he looks to have a good chance here. This horse had shown nothing for 5 runs before returning to action at the end of March to finish a staying on second. The form of that race has worked out well with both April Fool and Fazza coming out of the race and winning twice. He is up 1lb for that run but has been competitive off 75 in the past. A couple of years ago he was going close in handicaps off marks in the mid 80's. Plenty of Ruth Carr horses are returning this year with much reduced marks due to the poor form of the stable over the last year or so and they are worth following while in this rich vein of form. Frognal is still quite a young horse and he should come on for that outing. He has only 1 career win and has never won over the distance but his last run suggested there could be another win just around the corner. The stable are flying and I expect this one to go close here.
