Hello all, Joined a few months ago, but didn't get round to using the site and only made my first post the other day, so just getting a feel for the site. Was looking for a thread like this as I want to try and prove I can make money over time. I don't have specific systems for football, but I always look for value. I'm particularly strong on trying to analyse any event in as much detail as possible and search for where bookies have overlooked something. I always will give my reasoning rather than just post (Unless there's limited time). I do often concentrate on win odds/correct scores/HT-FT, though anything that stands out can appeal. With horses, a few years ago I started developing a system for forecasting on handicap chases. I'd like to see if I can analyse that separately compared to all other horse racing bets, as forecasting can produce some very large odds winners and skew regular horse bets. I cannot say for sure when I will post, as I have never posted publicly before and sometimes left my own personal bets to the last minute. If I do well and people follow me, then maybe I will concentrate a bit harder on becoming a bit more regular. Re: Ace of Spades - Horses & Top flight football Sorry for late selection, but looking at the Man United team, there's a definite eye on the midweek Champions's League game, whereas Arsenal are pretty much all in for a trophy. Vidic returns to shore up the defenc, but it still looks a little vulnerable with Smalling. Van Persie 1st scorer at 7/1 with Hills looks value. He'll be keen to make amends after the Barca debacle. A 1-1 draw looks a likely scoreline, with weaknesses in both sides midfield's. 6/1 is available (Hills, Sky, Betfred, Coral) but it's not fantastic value, so just 1 point stake. 1 point Van Persie 1st scorer 7/1 Hills 1 point 1-1 correct score Hills, Sky, Betfred, Corals
