ganjaman Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 the irish novice arkle chase will draw many of irelands main hopes for the arkle at cheltenham in march,forpaddytheplasterer finished runner up in 2009 and went on to win the arkle at cheltenham,below are some trends from the last 10yrs aged 7 won last time out ran in the last 40 days had last run at punchestown or leopardstown finished in the first two in the bord na mona novice chase run in 1 to 5 chases this season won once or twice over fences trained by willie mullins,jessica harrington or dessie hughes ---------------------------------------------------------------------- the irish champion hurdle as been won by some outstanding irish hurdlers which include brave inca,hardy eustace and the great istabraq.below are a few trends for the race aged 6 or 9+ finished in the first 3 last time out [preferably in the festival hurdle] run no more than three times this season had its last run in december won a grade 1 hurdle has won at leopardstown previously finished in the first four at the cheltenham festival finished in the first 3 in the morgiana,hatton grace or the punchestown champion hurdle trained in ireland priced 10/3 or shorter as favourites have a very strong record Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
