'Think Discipline'

Cutting out the 'rubbish' from my betting activity is something i have struggled with for a while. Always looking for a 'bit of interest' here and there is the main reason why my profits are not as high as they should be. So, i am looking to record my bets in here and add a bit of reasoning. I also record bets on my laptop but i feel adding a bit of reasoning on this forum helps when i am finalising my selections. My bets will also be put in the relevant forum threads. I watch and play most sports and like to think i know alot about almost all of them but here i will stick to what i feel i am best at when it comes to betting on them. Starting bank of 100pts. So, here goes..... Bet 1 4pts Arsenal (-1 EH) to beat Ipswich at 11/10 with BlueSquare Taking an early one here as i feel the price has a good chance of coming in a touch. Arsenal have put in impressive performances to get this far against 3 tough Premier League sides. In all those games they have fielded teams which look nothing like their strongest starting line-up (as they usually do) but are still standing and come into this round as favourites for the competition. They have an outstanding chance of winning the Cup and got arguably the best possible tie against a managerless Ipswich side strugging in the Championship. Ipswich got thumped at Chelsea and even though they have won a few games at home this season they still have major problems both on the field and behind the scenes. I feel that Arsenal's superior confidence and ability (should they play anywhere near their best) along with knowing how good an opportunity they have here, will see them return to the Emirates with a positive result. I also think this should be a shade odds on so there is a hint of value here in my book. Medium sized stake due to the fact the tie is over 2 legs and not everything will be decided in this game.
