Cricket: India vs New Zealand - Test Series

India host New Zealand in a 3 match test series on 3 good grounds so we should get some decent betting opportunities. All three matches are live on Sky in the UK with the 1st test starting on Thursday. Schedule:

Re: Cricket: India vs New Zealand - Test Series Right, this gets underway in the early hours of tomorrow and with it likely to be a one sided affair there isn't too much value around however there is one outright that I do like. 2pts - Top Indian Batsman: Virender Sehwag - 3/1 (Boylesports) Sehwag had a lean time of it against Australia but I'm confident he can come back strong against a fairly ordinary NZ side in this series. As we all know he is the most destructive batsman in world cricket therefore if he performs it will be hard for anyone to keep up with him. With Gambhir coming back from injury, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a little rusty so he may get a few low scores. Then there's Rahul Dravid who for me isn't the same player as he was 3 or 4 years ago and of late is struggling to kick on past a half century. So for me this market is between Sehwag and Tendulkar given that it'd be quite a task for VVS Laxman or Suresh Raina to top score in the series from 5 and 6. Obviously Tendulkar is in stunning form so he'll take some beating but I'm siding with Sehwag as when he gets in, he scores at a run a ball and has an appetite for huge scores (see his triple and double century count). NZ's bowling is nothing to write home about so the only concern for Sehwag will be getting past the new ball, after which I expect him to fill his boots.
