Austria’s rise makes them as the match’s ultimate favorite. But they cannot afford to be complacent since Hungary can pull off an upset.

    Getafe vs. Real Madrid
Real Madrid’s undefeated six-match streak already meant that they shall secure the upper-hand against the struggling Getafe. The latter has just appointed a new manager to ensure their survival. But it looks like  their upcoming match will not grant them the points that they need.
Juan Esnaider’s appointment as Getafe’s new head honcho reignited the club’s hopes of retaining their La Liga status despite struggling at the relegation zone. Currently, the squad sits on the 18th spot of the league table and is just two points away from safety.

Real Madrid’s renewed confidence that is derived from their successful victory against Wolfsburg in the Champions League will be one of its strongest weapons against the struggling Getafe. Right now, it can be observed that the team is getting better in its performance.

    Barcelona vs. Valencia
Barcelona is expected to wage an all-out war to Valencia after having being knocked out of the Champions League and at the same time, leaving the title race open due to a series of unfortunate events.

Valencia, on the other hand is more than ready to accept the challenge since they’re also fighting for survival.

    Atletico Madrid vs. Granada
Inspired by progressing into the Champions League’s semis, Atletico Madrid’s next target is the league’s coveted silverware.

Coming off from a great comeback against the Catalan giant, Barcelona, there is no doubt that Atletico Madrid will do everything to win this match.

Following Barca’s three-match winless streak, the latter’s lead has already fallen down to three. Atletico knows this well and will try to use the current situation to exploit their opponent’s misery.

Granada’s four consecutive draws may have prevented them from falling into the relegation zone, yet, this doesn’t mean that they’re already safe.
Right now, they need more than just a point. Draws could only do as much, but this can hardly help them survive.

Roma recorded its third straight win last week after dominating the match against the aggressive Sampdoria. The match ended with a 2-1 win and further strengthened its hold of the table’s 5th spot.

The capital club has been previously pegged for the title, but inconsistent performances have weakened their title campaign.

Nevertheless, the squad has been showing improvements now and this has reignited their hopes of returning to the league’s top three.

Roma of course, will be the dominant squad in this encounter and Carpi must work harder to secure the upper hand in this game.

Yes, have to agree with this sandrasuzuki. I think Tottenham will grab a hard-fought narrow win. Alan Pardew needs to invest in the Crystal Palace squad slightly this January because if they fail to do so they could lose a lot of ground on the teams in the top 10 and find themselves sleep-walking towards an unlikely relegation battle.

Although Fenerbahce trails Molde by two points, they can still outrank the latter and ensure their qualification for the tournament’s next stage.

Throughout the Group Stage, Fenerbahce earned eight points, which makes them occupy the second part of the group table. This is in stark contrast to rock bottom Celtic, which has not won a single match.

Considering the differences present in the teams’ form and previous performances, it is evident that the host shall get the upper hand in this particular match.
    Fenerbahce 2-0 Celtic

Considering the fact that Plzen has only earned three points and with their last match to be performed on 10 December, it seems quite impossible for the said team to recover.

Nevertheless, this doesn’t give them a chance to be over confident for if they’re caught off-guarded, all of their great work will be wasted. Rapid Wien is one of the few undefeated squads and they will surely give them a hard time scooping up all the three points.

    Villarreal 1-1 Rapid Wien

Dinamo Minsk and Plzen will be fighting for honor’s sake since they’ve already lost their chances to qualify for the next round of the competition.

Plzen, for one has only earned three points during the Group Stage. The victory was earned during their encounter against the hapless Dinamo, which will exit the tournament without collecting a single point.

Their recent match was a close one so Plzen must prepare for the worst. Dinamo might seek revenge just to have a graceful exit.

    Dinamo Minsk 2-1 Plzen

With just a point under its belt, Qabala’s chances of progressing has already ended, but not for PAOK.

PAOK has still two matches left and if they win all of them, they will advance. However, this goes with a certain condition and that is for the 2nd placer Krasnodar to lose all of its games.

    PAOK 3-1 Qabala

Krasnodar have already earned seven points in the tournament. They trail Dortmund by three points and with their second encounter, they need to snatch a point or better yet, the whole three points to advance to the next stage.

Dortmund has already secured its qualification, but PAOK threatens Krasnodar. The  former has only earned three points, but if they win against Qabala or at the very least, force a Dortmund to  draw, PAOK is at risk of losing their post. Anything is possible in football and they can’t always bank on the idea that they’re better than Qabala since there’s always the possibility for them to snatch a shocking win.

    Krasnodar 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund is almost assured of its qualification in the next stage of the competition. The squad has seven points under its belt and currently leads the group table. Apparently, the pressure is on to Qabala, which has only accumulated a point in this tournament.

The rock bottom squad will definitely have a hard time gaining the upper hand at Signal Iduna. More or less, the team will be fighting for honor’s sake alone since their early exit is almost certain.

    Borussia Dortmund 4-1 Qabala

PAOK is the only squad in the competition that has drawn  all of its matches. And while this has been serving them well, the last thing that they want is to earn a mere point. They would definitely try to incur all the three points this time. But they’ll need to bleed before they could do that

    Krasnodar 2-1 PAOK

I don't see this happening for the match against Bournemouth. I think Kompany is out, right ? There will be more chances for Bournemouth to breach City's defense instead.
Aguero is out, I am not surprised if goals dry up, unless we see goals from players like KDB or Yaya's long shots.
For City I guess the best way to play for this match is control the ball and keep pushing forward.
