Sorry meatman for the off but I'm curious. Hungarian league champions appointed Bernard Casoni as the head coach. What do you think of him? What can he do with a team which barely conceded any goals but has an effective attack and won the league very confortably? They are heading towards the CL qualifiers and I'm interested what can he do? After promoting Evian he seems like he lost ground. Thank you!Sandefjord - Lillestrom I’m going to be aggressive here with two bets, although neither of them are worth big stakes IMO. Sandefjord have lost their last 9 games but I think it’s still difficult to judge exactly how bad they are. During this 9 game streak, they’ve had a brutal run of games and faced all the top teams, at times they’ve been unlucky. The fundamental issue is Lars Bohenian’s insistence on playing the 3-5-2 formation. He might change that now, but if they don’t then I can’t see how they survive. Sandefjord simply play way too open and are mega vulnerable at the back, especially on counter attacks. That won’t serve them well today because the main strength of the LSK team going forward is with pace on the break. The visitors have been in some good form recently too, winning 4 of their last 5 and the one defeat in that run was a harsh one at Godset. Sooner or later Sandefjord will end this nightmare run, but until they do then it may be wise to go against them. I don’t think they are currently able to match ‘top half sides’ and that’s exactly what LSK are. It should be an open game of football and I like a piece of over 2.5 as well. So I’m going to place two bets because I see this ending something like 1-2 or 1-3 based on recent weeks. Recommended bets: Lillestrom -0.25 @ 1.85 4/10 and over 2.75 goals @ 1.69 4/10 Molde - Valerenga This should be a wide open contest, well worth watching and contain a feast of goals. Molde home matches are always high tempo affairs where they try and dominate opponents quickly, but they can also leave holes at the back. ‘Enga meanwhile are also renowned for high scoring games and have had a lot of overs this year, especially away. They’ve been involved in some ridiculous games like 5-4, 4-3 and 3-2 already this season and despite them facing a team like Molde here, will surely come with attacking intent. The Oslo side will be without striker Deshorn Brown who is on international duty, but his fitness has been up and down in recent weeks and might not be missed all that much. I think it’s extremely likely that this game will contain at least 3 goals, the only question is exactly how many more? The over line is a massive 3.25/3.5 so I had to think twice before placing this bet, but in the end I’ve decided to strike. The scoreline here could end something ridiculous and overall I think it’s worth a few units. Recommended bet: Over 3.25 goals @ 1.77 4/10 -
Re: Norway » Tippeligaen » 9-10 May
Any thoughts on OM-ASM? I supppose you would've bet away +0 or somethinh similar. Unbelievable anyway.Cheers fella. Yeh good day for me up in Norway. Well done to Lisandri on the Viking draw too. Good call -
Re: Norway » Tippeligaen » 9-10 May Usual meatman quality, thumbs up, Steve!

Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > April 3rd - 6th
Real Madrid away 1-1 Atlético away 1-0 I also think Valencia will win, but it's dangerous to bet on big teams after international breaks.I am not that familiar with Valencia style but i can see that Villareal tend to lose their minds in the bigger games and this one here looks to be one of them.I think Valencia will win but odds don't represent any value to me so no bet here.GL whatever you choose Sent from my iPhone using PL Forum app -
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 20th - 22nd Meatman, you've got quite a following here, you are our underground hero! You should break into the mainstream :D Any ideas for today?
-
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 20th - 22nd Are they capable to defend tightly if the stake is high? Especially if they face technical and fast attackers, mostly on the wings. I expect them to lose Kiev after luckily winning at home in a match they've played against 9 men. DK are currently leading the league in Ukraine, aboe Shakhtar, that says something about them. Anyway thanks for the reply

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 20th - 22nd I saw it was interrupted for a while, maybe for fan riots, I don't know, but it's continued, it's the 87th minute. Our bets are safe, I hope

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 20th - 22nd Very good previews, mate! Been following you again since you are back in form. Keep it up! I've got a question for you! Do you think Guingamp will lose away to Dynamo Kiev in the EL? COnsidering they only struggled to win against 9 men, I think they could be comfortable to bet against in the return leg. What's your opinion on that.
-
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > February 13th - 16th Excellent reasoning, been considering it myself, too., but I wasn't sure enough. In the 89th minute it seems like the better decision was a nobet. Tyton saved a couple of total shockers. You deserved at least the void.

Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > February 4th - 9th
It was closer to a 5-0 than to a 4-1, but congrats anyway. Excellent bet! I wanted to do over2,5 and Atlético+0,25 but acted late and the odds was crap already. I didn't want to risk with the straight win. I should've4:0.So close to a 51 winner... -
Re: Bundesliga > January 30th - February 1st
I didn't say it's a local derby' date=' unless if derby is considered only between teams of the same region. In my country all the big games we call them derbies. for example isn't Real Madrid - Barcelona a derby?[/quote'] technically it's not. A great match-up yes, but it's not a derby. The derbies those teams play are Atlético-Real (and Rayo-Real and Getafe-Real to a lesser extent, not to mention Alcorcón and Leganés from the same metropolitan area) and Barcelona-Espanyol. Also other local derbies are the Sevilla derby (Betis-Sevilla), the East Andalusian derby (Málaga-Granada), but all matches between the 4-5-6 Andalusian teams in the PD are derbies, the Galician (Deportivo-Celta), the Asturian (Oviedo-Gijón), the Valencian (Levante-Valencia or Valencia-Villarreal due to the Valencian Community derby) the Basque (Sociedad-Athletic) and so on. Real-Barca is not a derby. Saying local derby is redundant like saying "aged oldman". Sorry for the off -
Re: Ligue 2 > January 23rd - 26th
No, it's not. Otherwise how do you explain that people like Meatman and those of us who follow him regularly make a very nice profit of Ligue 2? Don't talk trash about actually the most profitable league on PuntersLounge. At least, for me Meatman's insight to the first 2 tiers of French football are the cream of the crop. Really. This sh*t league proves yet again that it's completely useless for betting and watching. -
Re: Ligue 2 > January 23rd - 26th that crappy January form seems to continue... Do you have a logical explanation? Historically Ligue 2 registers the most surprise results or what? Like Guardiola's Barca in February.

Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 24th - 26th
DÃdac Vilá is nowhere near the engine of the team, he hasn't played one match in the whole season so far. I wouldn't bet against such a team which drew in Sevilla and sit well above their hosts depsite their name. Sociedad may win at home, but this 1,75 odds is clear undervalue.Real Sociedad are not enjoying their season so far but they can actually benefit from the fact that they are out from both Copa del Rey and Euro League because they can now focus only on La Liga. After Moyes took the team' date=The Spaniards have improved their defence and are counter-attacking as well. They have lost just 1 of their last 7 home games and we should be impressed with their wins over Atletico Madrid and Barcelona at the beggining of january.Eibar are doing great so far. They are 8th but their form must come to an end at some point.Their ambitions should be in order to stay in the league for now. There are only a few foreign players in the squad and most of the players have their best of years behind their backs and a sudden dip in the form is not out of the cards for sure.Tomorrow they will miss Piovaccari(CF) and the engine of the team Didac Vila (CM).Sociedad and Moyes are relying on their home games and this is the perfect opportunity for them to extend their good home form.HW @ 1.75 to me all day long.GL! -
Re: Coupe de la Ligue > January 13th & 14th Isn't this a kind of make or break (stay or go) match for Blanc? 2,28 is very much appealing. I know it's Sainté at home, but if PSG are motivated, than isn't it an AW?

Re: Ligue 2 > January 9th - 12th
Seeing these results, not many are based on logic. So not even meatman could have made profit of this. I think. Let's wait for the master, thoughmeatman is not back? -
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 12th - 15th
These two are the 2 poorest teams in the whole league, as far as I class them, at least. The historical advantage doesn't mean too much because it's mostly based on long-time results and even the most recent ones are from a couple of years ago from Segunda. Elche and Depor avoided each other in the last 3 years, Elche are up in the Primera the 2nd season in a row and Depor does the rollercoaster thing in the last 4 seasons, so encounters between these teams were on and off and all of them occurred in the 2nd league. I wouldn't judge anything based on those H2H results. I'll give you an example: Málaga never beat Deportivo away, until last round. Málaga has won 13% of the clashes against Celta Vigo and guess what, this week, they just did at again. So you cannot trust H2H when teams' line-ups changed a lot. What matters most is motivation and form. Both teams drew in the cup and await the second leg (Elche home against Segunda promotion contender Valladolid, Depor away against EL-spot contender Málaga). That would mean that Elche has more chances of advancing and may be focusing on that one. On the other hand, Deportivo might play their only chance in Málaga, but I don't think they will prevail. Both coaches would agree with a draw, most likely, the wisest of decisions would be a handicap that covers the draw. One thing that has Elche on their side is Jonathas, that striker is on fire, especially against weaker defenses, but Marca wrote today that Depor may feature 5 defenders tonight. Who knows? I fancy Elche with a draw cover, as told earlier (+0,25 or so), but it's so unpredictable. I'd rather stay away from this one, although there is some value in the +0,25 @ 2,10. It's just not worth the shot, IMO. We've still got time, though, if something makes me more certain.Deportivo vs Elche Both sides are really poor but Deportivo has a good advantage in terms of H2H against Elche. What do you guys think? -
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 12th - 15th
Referee killed my Atletico bet' date=' how he could disallow that goal is beyond me..I've taken a battering this weekend :\[/quote'] I feel for you mate, I got the same feeling. I really don't understand why was that disallowed? -
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 12th - 15th
Sociedad didn't lose at home under Moyes, yet. The loss was at VIllarreal's pitch at the El Madrigal. Moreover, RS didn't concede at home under the spell of D Moyes. YET. I think now they will. If I wanted to bet on this one, maybe I could choose BTTSReal Sociedad - Athletic Bilbao Both teams want to win the Basque derby as besides the 3 points it is a prestige match. Real Sociedad wants to get over the shocking loss from Villareal last week in ''Anoeta'' and also get as far as it can from the relagation zone as the 3 points that have now is not a safe distance. Bilbao also comes from a shocking loss from Cordoba last week in ''San Mames'' but the mid-week win against BATE that led them to the ''32'' stage of Europa League has highten the team's morale. Also it's time for Valverde to succeed his first away win against Sociedad. It's gonna be a tough game with both teams fighting to the end Draw @ 3.35 Marathonbet -
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 12th - 15th
This is the greatest derby for both Athletic and Sociedad, a friendly one as atmosphere, but one could never tell which of the two traditional greats are in bigger turmoil and who can get the advantage on this one. Therefore, nobet, but a mustwatch.@Mindcrime thanks for your reply ! Real Sociedad 1x2, what do you think? They are in desperate mode for a win. -
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 12th - 15th
Besides that Atlético aims to a perfect 2014 home stat: staying unbeaten in the whole year of the calendar in all competitions. I also would bet on Atléti and the -0,75 handicap looks nice for around 1,82 now (I got it for 1,85)Atletico Madrid are still undefeated by Villareal under Simeone. They will try for a second consecutive year to win the race in Primera. The team performs great both in Spain and in Europe. Atletico Madrid are only 7 points behind the league leaders-Real Madrid and three from the second Barcelona. For the second consecutive year they are playing very strong at home. Simeone's boys are 6-1-0 at home.At tuesday evening they rolled a friendly draw with Juventus in the Champions League and retained their energy for the upcoming meeting with Villarreal. Since Diego Simeone took in charge' date=Villareal have not won this rivalry - 0-1-4.Villarreal will have less time to recover than their opponents because of the thursday's game in Limassol in the Europa League. Villareal won their last two away games, but they were against Cadiz for the Cup and Cordoba in Primera. Before those two matches they were in a series of three games without a win away from home and in this century Villareal have won just 2 of their 11 visitations at ''Vicente Calderon''.There is no reason to doubt if the best home team in the league could win in this match. Coach Diego Simeone keeps excellent memories of the matches against Villarreal and @ 1.61 with bet365 it is a must bet for me. -
Re: Liga de Fútbol Profesional > December 12th - 15th
Eibar are very unpredictable. They are a very cohesive team and rarely get great thrashings (that Real MAdrid 4-0 was also harsh and didn't reflect the game). Adding that 5-2 home win against a very solid AlmerÃa (it was their first 2+ goal loss in the season) was a shock. Sevilla are strong at home but come from a decisive EL match which they've won mostly with full squad. I would not bet on Sevilla-1 but it could win. I just think that under the current circumstances it is -EV. Many times the bet will go void, I think.I am also looking at Sevilla -1 Very good home performance, and I doubt Eibar can repeat its 5-2 stunning scoreline again. But to be safe, might just win by 1 single goal, so I choosing Sevilla -1 Advices ? -
