  1. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march )

Yeah man! I shouldnt have listened to you!:) Brazil at over 2 times the money looks like a good bet to me, maybe also Brazil to win both halves at over 3 times the money! They played really well against Italy in my opinion. What do you people have to say about Ecuador? Are they any good?
Brazil probably without Kaka & Juan, didn't score in last 3 matches in Ecuador...will play in 3000 meter height, every away team has his difficulties under these circumstances... odds on Brazil started at 1,80 and went until now over even, hmm...would not touch this game even in my wildest dreams...for me clear Nobet
  2. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march ) Here some trends for remaining matches, copied from another site. will perhaps be helpful for finding final decisions :ok: Denmark are unbeaten on the road since 1990 against Europe’s weaker nations, winning six times in eight attempts versus teams with a Bettorlogic ranking of 90+. Hungary lost seven consecutive away games in competitive football before their narrow victory in Malta last October. Greece are unbeaten on the road in qualifiers since the start of the Euro 2008 qualification campaign with a hugely impressive W7-D1-L0 in that time. Moldova have failed to win at home in 17 attempts when hosting teams ranked 1-33 in competitive football, managing just three draws in that time. Czech Republic are W13-D4-L3 away from home in qualification campaigns since 2002. Germany are W10-D1-L0 at home to teams ranked 65+ since re-unification. Eight of Wales’ 10 home games against teams ranked 31-61 since 1994 have featured less than three goals. Spain are worthy European champions and have W17-D2-L0 in all competitive matches, including the Euro 2008 finals since the start of 2007. Moreover, Spain have lost just once on home soil in competitive matches since late October 1991 (W39-D4-L1). Romania have settled the + 2.5 goals market in six of their eight home games since the start of the Euro 2008 qualification process. Lithuania have faced top 12 ranking teams at home in competitive football nine times and have never scored a goal. Republic of Ireland have been all-square at the break in 13 of 18 home games against teams inside the top 55 bettorlogic rankings. Cyprus are unbeaten on home soil in competitive football since 1993 against teams ranked 50+, winning two-thirds of their 12 matches. Netherlands are W18-D3-L0 at home in competitive matches since 2001; the Dutch have WW 17 of those 18 victories, and won-to-nil 16 times.

  3. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march )

Anyone have any info regarding El Salvador vs U.S.A? USA destroyed Mexico 2-0 in the last match though it has to be noted that Mexico were missing some quite experienced players though that result is still a good result. El Salvador meanwhile were 2-0 down in the 79th minute at home to Trinidad and Tobago before scoring twice to draw 2-2 at home. USA are a far more experienced and have alot more quality than Trinidad and i like the look of USA at 8/11 just any thoughts on anyone follows South American football more closely?
all signs indicate an easy away win for US boys, except of one fact: their league started only a week ago, so it's hard to predict in which form the particular players are, but if you are interested in detailed information, provided by users in over 17 pages, you should perhaps try this link: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=949274
  4. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march )

Tnx...:hope do you have some suggestions about other games??
my suggestions for surest wins in europe are spain, netherlands and france like mentioned by others also here.... I really like N. Korea home win in Asia against this year poor Emirates but will skip Japan agaonst Bahrein, dunno why, guts feeling :unsure... Colombia and Argentina -1 win also look sure in S.America... Last but not least Cameroon away win & Cote d'ivoire -1 home win in africa :ok
  5. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march )

Togo v Cameroon: I know Cameroon are not the best of travellers, and that Togo have a few good players, but do you really think Adebayor (having just come from his injury spell) can lead his side to overcome the Cameroonian Lions? Well, considering Adebayor is the heart and soul of Togo's squad, and that his counterpart; Eto'o is at his best nowadays, I see evens on the away win to be a real gift here. I would have expected something like 1.50-1.60 to be honest, so I'm all over this one.
agree totally, some further information to add, togo has to play on neutral ground, which means quite less of home strength factor IMO: Togo’s national soccer team is to play their opening match in the final phase of World Cup/Nations Cup qualifiers in Ghana as the ban on their home matches continues to be carried out. According to a source at the Togo Football Federation the West African country received a four-match home ban after violence at the end of their 2008 African Nations Cup qualifying campaign where supporters attacked players from opponents Mali when Togo were knocked out.... source: http://www.newtimesonline.com/content/view/19180/53/
  6. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march )

You seem like a chicken-punter who don't dare to take on odds above 1.60. You know you really are destroying the good bets by saying you recommend 1X on Cyprus and Ireland. I call it dumb betting. When you get Irland 1.90 for straight win you take it at those odds and you don't get stupid and play chicken. It's your bets but keep it to yourself please because there might be some on this forum who don't think Ireland or Cyprus are 1X matches. Myself as an example!
It's not about being a "chicken-hunter" or being stupid, it's an open forum, everyone has his opinion and is free to give his advice so plz try and change your tongue, ok? it's all about stakes and confidence. You are confident about straight homewins, that's ok for me. If I wanted to stake only few bucks, I would probably play also the straight home wins, but for me the more safer option is 1X play, cos I see also a draw risk in both matches. All about money management ;)
  7. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march ) for me the Israel - Greece clash is jeopardy on 1X2 market but under 2,5 goal bets looks like a good bet. Greece will be satisfied with one point away from home and Israel will have problems to score against strong greece defense, which conceded only 2 goals in 4 matches. Odds around 1,60 don't offer real value but IMO good combo material.

  8. Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April

What makes you think there's such a huge gulf in class between Barça and Bayern ? IMO 1.60 is a fair price for Barça.
Firstly you should know I'm Bayern supporter since I've been a child. So keep it in mind that I'm laying my own team here. Many people see only the results of last round and will think the same as you before Barca clash, and I can't blame them after Bayern's performance against Sporting, destroying them in 2 matches. But if you look deeper at these two matches, you'll find out that Bayern didn't win first leg 5:0 in Lissabon because of their overwhelming power, no, they won cos Sporting played really poor and was by far the weakest of all 16 teams remaining in CL. And don't forget that Sporting gave up after first match, rested several key players, so Bayern's really good 7:1 at home was only a logical consequence. Klose won't play for Bayern (if there aren't magical treatments by Bayern medical staff), cos he's injured for about 3 weeks, so their top goalgetter and this year's key forward in CL matches will miss. Toni is injured all year long, totally out of form lately and still recovering and will not be 100% fit in only 2 weeks remaining. So like everytime all pressure, all responsibility will lay on the shoulders of our little french starplayer Ribery and perhaps Ze Roberto. Barca on the other side will be without Iniesta, but they played several weeks without him very fine. Their play is much more variable than Bayern's. For almost each first team player there is a adequate subsitute, especially in offense. If you saw them against Lyon (5:2 win) in last round, you can get an imagination what kind of play we'll see from them. Bookies offered for Barca home win poor 1,40 against Lyon in last round, they knew what will happen with french side in Camp Nou. Now they offer low 1,55-1,55 for the home side in quarterfinals of CL, cos they know what will happen in two weeks and they they'll have to pay it out IMO for sure.
  9. Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April

Just can't seem to find any 'To Qualify' around yet. Man U's recent drop in form has me worried a little about putting it onto a straight out win though im sure they will come back very soon. I was thinking the same thing with the to qualify with a big amount...
ManU match: http://www.betbrain.com/oddsDetail/Football-1-Europe-UEFA-Champions-League-2008-2009/eventId/144858028/betTypeId/37/scopeId/0/site/0 Barca match: http://www.betbrain.com/oddsDetail/Football-1-Europe-UEFA-Champions-League-2008-2009/eventId/144858038/betTypeId/37/scopeId/0/site/0 GL :ok
  10. Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April both to qualify was my first thought, too. It would pay odds around 1,60-1,70 together, which also sounds ok to me. As I am sure both teams will win their home matches easily, I stuck to this option. At this stage you won't see big surprises anymore. Refs will be chosen and prepared well, even early red cards or smth like this wouldn't be tolerated by UEFA. We are entering Bookies nightmare phase :lol I'm sure there will be many sharp betters who'll play "both to qualify" with big amounts :ok

  11. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march ) Spain home win against turkey should be one of surest bets at weekend, but odds are quite poor around 1,40. Spain, currently leading Group 5, have a four-point lead over second-placed Turkey. We will see them around 1,30 or even below @ saturday. Valencia stars Villa & Silva are recovering well and will probably play, Pool's Torres is on fire again, but Benitez insists that his stirker should be rested due to upcoming heavy schedule in domestic league and CL. Youngster Mata (Valencia) will probably replace injured Barca Star Iniesta. Fernando Llorente is available, even Guiza got a call up by Del Bosque instead of Raul, in-form Negredo is on standyby so spain's offense will probably do fine. Key defender Puyol (Barca) is suspended for this match, but he didn't play 3 matchers in row for Barca, so he wouldn't be 100% fit anyway. His Barca colleague, Gerard Pique, will be the favourite to cover for him. Fatih Terim is concerned about the injury or lack of fitness of several key players. Injured defenders Servet Cetin and Gokhan Zan didn't travel to spain, Gokhan Gonul, Gokhan Unal and Hamit Altintop are all doubtful due to lack of fitness. Doesn't matter which team is fielded by Del Bosque, spain can compensate each missing player quite better than injury-ravaged squad of turkey. We will probably see an open match with many goal oportunities on both sides but IMO by at the end spain will win comfortably, perhaps smth like 3:1 For me Spain -1,25 or over 2,5 goals are both good options, both with odds around 1,80. Will await futher team news to decide which bet will be more safe one. GL @all ;)

  12. Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April Sorry for opening this thread 2 weeks before matches take place but want to give advice to play the double Barca & ManU win as I played them for biggest bet of the year for me (1000 €). Clearest mismatches of the round, both home teams more than 1 class over their opponents. You get them together in combo atm for over 2, but I'm sure it 'll be around 1,80 at match day GL @all ;)

  14. Re: Uefa Cup - 18th / 19th March 2009 we don't "love" any of both sides, I'm pretty sure the majority of this british forum thinks similar :lol, but due to strength and tactical oportunities CSKA double chance was the much more valuable pick. i would play the match same way each time again. Your comment shows you don't get the idea of a betting forum at all, it's about beating the bookies not to bash against eachother. Think about it mate :eyes

  15. Re: Uefa Cup - 18th / 19th March 2009

Confirmed or probably? Otherwise I like your pick :ok
we must wait for official line-ups @ uefa.com, I found these infos: uefa.com: Defender Răzvan Raţ did not get the chance to atone for the penalty he conceded which enabled Vágner Love to give CSKA the lead in Moscow, as he was rested against Metalist. "I was pretty down after the CSKA match, but everyone makes mistakes and now my worries are behind me," said Raţ. "We must push ourselves to the limit. Me and the team are ready for that. We will make things tough for CSKA but it won't be easy for us either." shakhtar.com, interview with Luscescu: Do you think Rat will be psychologically ready to play? coach Mircea Lucescu: I am not sure whether he will be playing at all.
  16. Re: Uefa Cup - 18th / 19th March 2009

If you say they are unbeaten in THIS new year, 2009, i believe you. however they lost 2 matches in November 08. good pick anyway Caveman. GL
sorry mate, due to my poor english language I didn't express myself right, corrected it :eyes: They are unbeaten in whole european competition so far, ending with max 12 points out of 4 matches in stage phase and Aston Villa's "sacrifice matches" last round and first leg win against Shakhtar
  17. Re: Uefa Cup - 18th / 19th March 2009

Cska to qualify @1.40 is strange some people insist that shaktar was the better side in first leg... thnx god, i have personal opinion, and i am confident that russian team is stronger in all aspects of game this bet is very very good imo, not only that we defend the 1-0 victory, but we win even the match goes to extra time or even penalties and cska qualify.. max stakes this one, the better team to qualify, and please have in mind that in a forum, might be many people who watched a specific match good luck :lol
this is maybe the "banker of the day", thx for posting it, sir :ok. CSKA outplayed Shakhtar in first leg, they'll be very strong tonight and as mentioned I really don't believe in some miracles tonight.
