Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April ) After yesterday's for many ppl shoking result, with many bets placed on over market, I could imagine, same ppl assume ,we will see similar match tonight. But I think this match will go vice versa. 1X2 market is not interesting for betting issues, home odds are too short indeed. ManU odds should've been at least at even, but 1,80 against a side from domestic league, unbeaten in 20 EPL matches, which know them and their style of play entirely? nahhh, not for me. I think we will see a wide open match tonight with 2 shaky defenses with injuries on both sides but massive offensive power on both sides. Rooney, Ronaldo & Berb on one side, Cesc, Adebayor & Walcott on the other side. I expect at least 1 ManU goal, but really see good chances for Arsenal to net at least once, cos I think they'll play on counters and seem to score easily atm. I thought about to bets: both 2score and over, but lastly decided to bet Over 2,25 goals @ odds around even (188bet 2,00. pinnacle 1,99), with seeing Over 2,5 with quite same odds, I buy this quarter goal and suring a bit 2:0 or 1:1 result!! Having said that, as I expect smth like 2:1 or 2:2, I still think Both 2 score is also good betting option on this one :ok Key Stats (again from bettorlogic site):
- Past 22 Big Four encounters in all competitions -19/22 Both teams scored
- Big Four encounters in Champions League since 2007/08 - 7/7 Both teams scored
- Arsenal's last 10 away games in Premiership - 9/10 Both teams scored
- Man United's last five home games in Premiership -4/5 Both teams scored.
one other interesting stat for this encounter: United have never lost to Arsenal in a Semi Final of any competition (played 4, won 4).take that fact in mind, if you want to stake some bets on which team to qualify market ;) btw: also from me, well done Jonesy, great job mate :ok

Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April )
you are mistaken if you think that I'll bet this one only because of today's results etc. I'm monitoring Barca's matches all season now, placed different bets from 1X2 and O/U market on almost all their matches. They had 2 midweek matches in a row now, they'll play their 5th match in 2 weeks at Bernabeu!! Sure, professional players should manage to play well even after only 2-3 days of rest, secondly they have a real good squad, many good substitute players, could rotate their stars to avoid fatigue, but I was really surprised Pep didn't rest his stars @ WE against Valencia, who played really good and achieved earned draw result. Now almost the same "not fresh" team played second draw in a row...hmmmm, don't know, but against rested fresh Real team, in front of enthusiastic Bernabeu crowd, I see home team with clear advantage. I'll await Real team news, espacially if Huntelaar is playing, but atm I can imagine real will get at least a draw out of this clash...errrrrrrrrr......I wouldn't over react and base your weekends betting purely on the result tonight..... just my thoughts! -
Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April )
On another note' date=' the 7/4 about Real Madrid to beat Barca at the weekend is looking very tasty now considering Pep may rest a few players as this tie is finely balanced.[/quote'] exactly what I thought, all Pep's game plans are over board now, his team couldn't create a good situation for 2nd leg so he can't afford to play with best men against Real away from home, being only 4 points in front. Real on level ball @ around 2 looks like a reasonable bet. Barca is in real big mess, they are probably going to lose their hard work over whole season in few days :$ -
Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April )
as I mentioned before, your posting was one of best I saw here in CL thread, well done mate :okwell said man i too stay away from that one scurnthope and mk dons make my day :nana -
Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April ) take a look to Betfair stats, wow. All gone :$: Barcelona v Chelsea - Match Odds
Betting on: Barcelona Chelsea The Draw Total matched on this event: €16,827,175 Betting summary - Volume: €11,836,584 -
Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April ) As I mentioned before, ppl, stick to those who know their business here, well done Chelsea, magician Hiddink did fantastic tactical work again, this will be a great 2nd leg match to watch :ok

Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April )
Barca are too short for me. I have serious doubts to the real strength of the spanish league compared to the EPL. Chelsea +0.5 on the aisan at 2.12 is where my money is.Barcelona v Chelsea - Chelsea @ 6.0 betfair 5/1 is ENORMOUS
again people, like before "banker" Liverpool match last week, take a look to these opinions from three sharp bettors from PL. Why am I not surprised? :dudeAs I said' date=' I am waiting on Barcelona but[b'] I agree they are far too short. Hiddink will set out to frustrate Barcelona and if Barca do not score pretty early, I believe Chelsea may well nick it -
Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April )
fancy your thoughts, mate. nothing to add, I don't want to play this match, but if I had to, for me Chelsea +0,75 @ around 2 would be best bet :okBarcelona have been pLaying wonderfull football this year but today is where we wll know their real force because excuse me spain spanish league is nothing compare to epl and even their victory against bayern munich cant be taken as a reference. The liverpool that play chelsea in cl was a very strong side may be better than barcelona but even that chelsea manage to win and qualify. I think today chelsea is capable of bringing a victory from Nou Camp or at least a draw -
Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg
well done mate :okPorto - Man Utd under 2.5 :D Arsenal - Villareal over 2.5 :D -
Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg
3:0 FT. Arsenal showed expected match :nana Hope some of you guys made also nice money :cheersArsenal AH -1 @ 1' date=83 Expekt (Bet 365 had 1,85 yesterday) with high stakes will be my only bet of this leg: I can't see how this weakened Villareal side could reach anything out of Emirates stadium, this Gunners team are ready for semifinals or even higher. I expect a clear home win, smth like 2:0 or 3:0 -
Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg
I congrate in advance for right decision, well done mate, will be a real good combo with high stakes as well :okManchester United @ 2.20 PaddyPower Manchester United know they need to win tonights match and lets not forget Manchester United can blow away any team on there day and there is a big gap in class when there stars tick. Ferguson will send out an attacking side to look for a goal but with the likes of Vidic and Ferdinand at the back they are solid. Porto took Man Utd by surprise at Old Trafford but they know that Porto cannot be underestimated this time and that they must turn up in this match. Arsenal @ 1.57 Betfred The tie is not as safe as some people are making out. Arsenal cannot run the risk of protecting what they have because 1 goal from Villareal and there away goal in Spain is cancelled out. Arsenal may be without Gallas, Djourou and Arshavin but after 18 or so games unbeaten and with Adebayor and Fabregas back fit the confidence is booming. Wenger knows that in reality the Champions League is his priority know that they have opened a gap up between themselves, Aston Villa and Everton in the final Champ League place in the league. I expect this to be a tight game but Arsenal to win on the night. -
Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg as we are in a british forum, nice pic to describe Bayern coach Klinsmanns' actual situation

Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg Great job to all Over 2,5 & both 2 score backers in chelsea match :ok

Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg Arsenal AH -1 @ 1,83 Expekt (Bet 365 had 1,85 yesterday) with high stakes will be my only bet of this leg: Arsenal is IMO one of strongest sides in europe atm, they are now unbeaten in unbelievable 18 matches in EPL, by most people considered strongest league of the world, won their last 5 matches in a row! Seems like they assured 4th important CL spot in domestic league, perhaps they are able to get close to 3th Chelsea... They struggled surprisingly in CL group stage, were clear favourites but qualified as second team after Porto. This was the period Wenger had to cope with many key injuries. Their 1/8 final match against Roma was won in penalty after 120 mins of second leg. So this team is really beyond of being convincable in this competition this year with many ups and downs. But at the end of season contrary to so many other teams, Gunners seem to play better week after week!! They will be full of confidence after 4:1 away win against Wigan, with Wigan being in front 1:0 at HT!! These kind of matches give players self-confidence and boost their morale, surely Wenger should get an extra credit, he did a really great job @ halftime, like he did against Villareal last week to avoid an away loss in second half. We saw an important comeback of Van Persie in second half & already in-form Adebayor was rested most of time, played only for 20 mins, as mentioned before skipper and most influent players Fabregas continues to get his form match after match. But most important is his patience and leadership abilities which shines also on other players. Perhaps some people think he is overrated but they are entirely mistaken. Firstly these people have to ask themselves, why should such a superb, succesful and intelligent manager like Wenger replace Gallas as skipper with an only 21 years old boy!! and secondly, they should ask themselves, why other players around him seem to play better when he is on pitch!! Quite easy answer: He is the heart of Gunners' midfield, he is the unique pacemaker every team is glad to have. This guy is the upcoming absolute superstar, in same league like Gerrard, Lampert, Xavi or Iniesta. Of course in form Arshavin won't be available in CL this year, Fabianski won race against Almunia for sure and Van Persie & adebayor will be both rested and hungry for goals. Nasri & Eboue were rested completely. Djourou is still listed as questionable for Wednesday's clash, as he got injured against Wigan, but I don't think his absence would be a really big blow, cos Sylvestre replaced him well and even scored, so IMO only blow for Wengers' Men will be injured Gallas & Clichy. Villareal started well in domestic league, being unbeaten in 11 consecutive matches, but week after week now it seems they have lost their power, have only in mind to end this season on a honorable place, fighting with Valencia for 4th place. At this moment of season it looks clearly like their squad in not "deep" enough to play in 2 competitions on high level, when it comes to midweek/weekend matches. 2 weeks ago before Arsenal clash they rested some players against Almeria and boom lost 0:3! This week all people thought coach Pellegrini learned his lesson with this questionable tactical game, he rested only few one like Llorente (came in after 55 mins) but boom they also lost against Malaga 2:0 at home!! They are in clear downtrend, losing 3 out of last 4 domestic matches, in CL they didn't also show really good results, ended with 2-3-1 their group phase behind ManU, which was not really surprising, as this group was one of weakest with Celtic & Aalborg... And now the main reason I'm so confident about this bet: Marcos Senna, the spain international is out for this match! This guy means quite the same for the team like Gerrard for Pool or Ribery for Barca. He was the guy who shot Villa in front against Gunners, he is by far their most important midfielder. His absence won't be big, it will be lethal for Villareal midfield!! Mati Fernandez and Cani are also doubtful, while Santi Cazorla has already been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken leg. English sides usually play well at home against teams from iberian Peninsula , who could forget Pool's amazing 4:0 against Real or Gunners 4:0 against Porto in stage phase? I can't see how this weakened Villareal side could reach anything out of Emirates stadium, this Gunners team are ready for semifinals or even higher. I expect a clear home win, smth like 2:0 or 3:0 Gl @all :D

Re: UEFA Cup 9th April.... For me one small bet for today: Jonathan Pitroipa to score anytime @ 5,00 Bet365 (Will Hill offers 7,00) As mentioned from other members here, HSV with many absences today. I don't even know if Pitroipa plays, cos Guerrero passed fit, if he doesn't play bet would be voided. IMO this young guy from Burkina Faso is amazing, great technical skills and very fast, even with ball. One of most vital HSV players atm, together with Trochowski. Last round against Galatasaray he showed his offensive abilities several times, last weekend scored his first goal in BL, so he is showing rising form. He plays behind forwards usually , but it seems like he interprets his role more as a forward than OM. Great odds and containable risk, but of course only with small stakes :ok

Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April
I totally agree mate, nothing indicates ManU comeback atm, but I will await to back Porto to advance after watching ManU's match against Sunderland, to see how they react after this desaster match :unsureWhat makes you even remotely think that people will be all over Porto? I can easily say oh well Man Utd didn't win at home therefore @ 2.00 they are too tempting to miss out. The amateur punter will just blindly play Man Utd based on their name, so if you are telling people here to say becareful of wagering on Porto I will counter and say becareful of wagering on Utd because those odds suggest the bookies are not too confident on Utd coming out with a victory. Afterall, that is what they NEED a victory. 0-0, 1-1 does not suffice. -
Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April Bayern bosses anounced press conference for today and Ulli Hoeneß anounced "there will be surprises" . Hopefully Klinsmann gets axed :clap

Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April
WOW, where the hell did you get such great odds on over 2,5??? Local in greece? Here in Germany we got 1,75 @ max :(I have bet from the weekend 390 Euro valencia-getafe over 3' date='5 @ 3,1, werder-Hannover over 2,5 @ 1,45 end the third is [b']barca alone over 2,5 @ 2,4. -
Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April
cheers :cheers, glad to see you making profit mate :ok+13.7 Pts :beer Poor Bayern, no fighting at all and I am sorry to see guys like Lell in this team :lol -
Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April
never mind mate, betting is winning and also losing :sad nice call on chelsea :cheers, you showed really great insight, antipublic betting in finest form :okNo am just telling that people to really be carefull for the coming match in portugal they will be tempted to go on porto as it was today everything pointed to a liverpool victory but at the end it show a different story... ps sorry for u caveman really shit to lose like that :@ -
Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April After this expected clear HW by Barca, ManU draw yesterday hurts twice for me :spank

AND SURPRISE, SURPRISE: Clown Rensing won't play :nana:cheers:drums:nana:clap Instead of him of course H.J.Butt :ok If anyone thinks he will see a goal fest today, he should reconcider his opinion. 35 year old Butt is much better than Rensing ever was!!

Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April
Let's hope so, by goodness! :okCaveman your double Barcelona and man utd was far from being ridiculous no one is able to understand man u performance yesterday may be that matches are coming up too quickly for them now but believe me this tie is far from over and my banker for the next round is man u to win at least 2 nil over porto. the last time they had this slip of form was against arsenal then after that they go winning 10 match without conceding a goal so character is the one of the greatest thing of this club and what will make them bring victory from portugal..:D

Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April ) PPL, I don't get it, so many negative comments on Chelsea, what is wrong with you? It's CL and not "want-to show- 90 mins-ball-tricks" contest on Rio de Janeiro Copacabana Beach!! Just for those who don't get it: The Blues became the first visiting side to keep a clean sheet at the Camp Nou this season. :ok C'moooon, show a little bit of respect, for your british team. They got maximum out of Camp Nou, no one will speak about their defensive destructive play, when they advance and probably win this CL. It's all about tactical chess match, placing right footed Bosingwa against left footed Messi was kind of tactical masterpiece and Hiddink exactly knows what to do in 2nd leg, and you can be sure, he won't let the Catalans humiliating Chelsea in front of own crowd. Just start to believe in this guy, he is by far best coach this year in european scene. Hail Hiddink!!:notworthy
