  1. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 15 March again some convincing stats, regarding ManU - Marseille match tonight: At Old Trafford, they have scored only twice in three Champions League games this season, while Marseille are on a run of 512 minutes without conceding in the competition. It is not certain United have enough goals in them to justify that short win price...Both teams have scored in only one of Marseille’s last eight CL away games and Under 2.5 Goals is a worthy favourite. Source: Betfair Blog I took Under 2,5 goals @ 1,88 188Bet with medium stakes, Canbet offers even 1,90! GL@ all :)

  2. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 7th December Am not posting lately due to busy schedule, but after seeing some comments regarding that Kazan will be beaten by at least 3 goals by Barca here just my thoughts: if I didn't have lost my sense of how bookies set traps, this match is again one of their biggest ones. Many punters assume big name Barca will smash Rubin Kazan at home 4:0, 5:0 or even higher, like they did so many times at ome against big names like Bayern, Lyon or 2 weeks ago Real M. D'accord! Nothing to say about that, many times Barca surprises us with really huge performances, even when they seam to be in a slight weaker period. And this atmosphere is exactly what bookies needed and wanted!! Even being unbeaten in 3 matches against Barca, even winning at Camp Nou last year (against a better B team to be exactly)and even knowing Kazan is unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions, wouldn't keep them off to offer us Barca as big favs... Barca have secured top of the group, outcome of this match is meaningless to them and Pepe is smart enough to to give some key players some rest, regarding next match against Sevilla at weekend. The last year's Russian champion is only 1 point behind Kopenhavn, so I really doubt they will sit back and watch the Barca magic show, knowing they could even reach next stage with a good performance tonight, like they already did last year. Mates, having said that all, with all confirmed absences at Barca side and high motivation to get smth out of this match on Russian side I really doubt Barca B performing well against this compact and defesivly well-organized team from Tatarstan (conceded only 2 goals in 5 CL matches speaks for itself). Even if Barca finally manages to win against Rubin, I can't see them blowing the Russians away, like they already didn't 3 times in their most succesful last 2 years so far!! I assume that we will be witness of a really tight affair again @ Camp Nou tonight. Kazan +1 @1,91 (188 Bet) is my call. GL @all :)

  3. Re: Champions League 10th of March I really don't want to get invloved in O/U here again...Lyon will play with only one single quality striker (Lopez) in front, first leg should also be overish, but we saw what french team is capable of: they defended like hell, their pressing game caused a lot of trouble for los blancos and I don't see any reason they couldn't repeat it tonight. Their influental offensive winger Bastos is out for this clash but otherwise Puel’s side carry a full panel to the game. IMO Key absence for Real is Alonso, after we are watching Liverpool's this season we all know now how important he was for that team, his stability and routine especially for game play and defence makes him irreplaceable. Read also hilarious things about Real winning with at least 2 or 3 goals difference, I am not convinced for the simple reason that the double value of a team does not automatically lead to twice as good performance. Even class of individual players doesn't automatically lead to an extremely strong team. We should also not forget that Lyon only needs to preserve their undefeated record against los Blancos to to progress to the last eight of CL! But having said that Real at home is of course at least capable of scoring at least once against any team in the world. Yesterday I read a post from a mate who thought at least one of yesterday's matches could be decided in overtime. I think eaxactly this match tonight is predestinated to be such a match. Away team are only one goal in front, home team has to deliver in front of enthusiastic crowd of 100.000 ppl . Jeremy Toulalan could play the key destructive role for Les Gones. My concern is if CR or Pipita don't deliver early to calm things down, so this could really get a tight affair again. Will think twice before placing a bet on this one, perhaps Real to qualify @ odds around 1,60 for me..

  4. Re: Champions League » Nov 25 Sad news with Klose/Toni for Bayern, they really suck atm... Even with Klose, I couldn't see how Bayern will win this one comfortably, now he is even out!! Sure, Olic is back and would be a big boost for their offense, but I am sure he isn't 100% fit, this guy is an amazing worker over 90 mins, so we won't see his real power tonight I guess...The more I think about this match, the better I like the odds on Under 2,75 goals @ 1,95 Pinnacle. Even if Bayern could came through the Israeli Human chain in penalty zone, it only will be few times in whole match!! Haifa did well in defense despite in home match against Bayern, and I am quite sure, they will use same tactics again tonight. I see a 1:0 as most propable outcome here, so perhaps Bayern HCX could also be a valuable bet here...But main pick remains under, played with small/medium stakes.

  5. Re: Champions League » Nov 25 underish game for me in this duel of toothless french lions against Italian snakes. Bordeaux only conceded 2 goals in this year's CL season, scored only 6 in 4 matches, but getting 10 points out of it, this is real french efficiency! But for this match offensive key player Gourcuff is out, biggest possible blow for french side, same importance for Bordeaux like Ribery for Bayern or Gerard for Liverpool...with their best forward Chamakh also not being fit 100%, I really can't see Bordeaux making much in front. On the other hand could Juve assure promotion to next stage with a win and avoid probable final match against Bayern. Del Pierro & Sissoko are back in team, Juve played much more consistant lately, even away from home predictable again. Even with playing with almost best first team Italians won't attack blindly to score, no, I think they will try to control match's pace, get more ball possesion even as away team and perhaps scoring from set-plays like corners or free-kicks by Diego. I am confident we won't see many chances or goal situations in this clash. Both teams now, they don't need to hurt eachother and being cautious to avoid injuries with regard to upcoming domestic matches. IMO match could end boring 0:1 or 0:0...Like Xaralas Under 2,25 for me @1,80 Bet365 GL @all :)

  6. Re: Champions League » Nov 25 agree mate :ok First look was Nobet for me, especially knowing this match takes place in Moskow/Russia but after studying weather forecast with "quite mild" 6°C and light rain and taking in mind the way both teams showed their inability to defend in CL matches, I will take the Over 2,5 goals @ 1,90 188bet with medium stakes. Russians are in "must-win" situation to take their last chance to reach next round, doesn't mean too much for me, I am not a friend of these must-win bets, but being in that situation we can expect them attacking from first min. Wolfsburg on the other hand only needs one point to reach next stage, but everybody who watched them this playing this season will agree with me, that they aren't capable to hold clean sheet, even against poor teams at home!! Even after seeing under 2,5 goals in all 8 clashes last night, I am confident we'll see some goals here. Wolfsburg is capable to score at least once, but Russians will their starplayer Krasic will try to score once more, under rain @ artificial pitch... Could end 2:1 or 2:2 IMO GL @all :)

  7. Re: Champions League » Nov 24

Thanks for that caveman. I will maybe avoid now as it is a weaker Seville team. Still reckon their fringe players might want to stake a claim for an extanded run. Will be an interesting outcome.
hehehehe, they even lost :lol glad I could help you :ok Kazan played X Barca Under2,5 came in What a great CL night again, my cash Cow :clap
  8. Re: Champions League » Nov 24

there is nothing to do with my patriotism mate' date='i didn't say Kiev stronger then Rubin and they are sh*t.My point is: teams Like Barca,CSKA,Spartak,Kiev don't mention grants like Real,Man.Un,Chelsea,Juve,Bayern...etc they play every year in CL so they earn points year by year for ages now. This is Rubin's first time in CL and yes they had few good results but to be in top 50 they need to play in CL atleast few years in a row and win alot. You progress year by year if you win and if you don't paly in CL or lose you just simply go down again. This is what i ment ;)[/quote'] Ok, misunderstood ur post, my fault!! :cheers
  9. Re: Champions League » Nov 24 Barça injury doubts However, Barça have some serious problems ahead of this challenging fixture list. Abidal and Touré came down with flu on Friday and Márquez was feverish on Saturday, though he has made a full recovery. Ibrahimovic and Messi remain doubtful. The Swedish striker has already missed the last two games while Messi limped off the pitch in Bilbao during the 1-1 draw against Athletic Club that knocked Barça off top spot in the league table. source: http://www.fcbarcelona.com/web/english/futbol/temporada_09-10/arxiu_partits/champions_league/primera_fase/jornada05/grup_F/Barcelona_inter/partit.html really interesting, one of those matches, in which European & Asian bettors are fully on contrary sides, Asians on Barca -0,5 & Barca -0,75 with dropping odds all over Far East, european Bookies lowered Inter X2 odds massively... Under normal circumstances this match in simple words means good offense meets good defense, but Barca has some offensive problems lately, in domestic league & European Cup. Messi & Ibra aren't in good form lately but still Barca's driving forces in front, pacemaker Xavi and Iniesta have to compensate if they won't be available or 100% fit tonight. Being second in table Barca needs a home win badly, they can't be satisfied with a draw in this one, but they are a little bit out of track atm. On the other hand we see perfect situation for defensive strong Inter, being 1 point in front of Barca, they will hold all advantages in their own hands. If they manage a draw here, and with playing last home match against Kazan, they have great chances to get promoted at first of table...So Inter isn't forced to attack, could try to play "italian style", lower pace and wait for counterstrikes. Team news implicate we will see almost best first team tonight, even Sneijder could get involved. Considering Mourinho to be a "tactical fox", Eto'o probably being on fire at his former "home" and Barca's injury problems in front made me to stand off 1X2 in this one, everything frm 1:0, 1;1 or even 0:1 could happen here...So for me best bet is Under 2,5 goals @ 1,90 Bet3000 (Interwetten same odds) played with medium stakes GL @all ;)

  10. Re: Champions League » Nov 24

Just read interview with Rubin's chairman and had a good laugh :) He doesn't understand why Barca is number 1 in UEFA ranking while his club only 106 :lol Also he is upset that Zenit,CSKA,Lokomotiv and Spartak are also above them :rollin Cheaky c*nt,he thinks if they beat Barca and drew with Inter once in 51 years they are best club in the world :) Also he said they don't like Dynamo and Gazaev but do like Shakhtar Common Dynamo, show them how to do it ...
Don't agree mate, with all respect of ur patriotism here :\ Kazan got 4 points in 2 matches again Barca, which other team in last years could claim the same? If Kazan is such a poor team, why they won Russian League again? Sure Barca is a little bit out of form, ok, agree, but what about Draw against Inter? Kiew played them also at home and lost... IMO Kazan showed with winning domestic championship last week in front of teams like CSKA, Spartak or Zenit, that we will see them as permanent power in CL at least for one more year, which also means they should be placed at least as 32th of UEFA list, which will be the case more sooner than ppl think... Regarding today's match, i agree with my mate Xaralas from BA forum, could end as a draw, even first leg should have ended as draw, only 2 late goals made Kiew getting out of this clash as winners. A team which drawed Inter & Barca at home, won't lose against Kiew IMO. If my weather forecast tells the truth, we have light Snow fall & Temps around Zero °C atm, even tonight...Even if players are adjusted to those circumstances, I can't see a high scoring match, could end as 1:0 or 1:1... for those who are interested in Xaralas' bet here a copy: Rubin Kazan - Dinamo Kiev: Draw @ 3.50 (Unibet) 2/10 Excuse my seemingly simple-minded approach here, but despite the 2 units there is good logic in it. Under normal ciscumastances, if there is any logic to derive from first 4 rounds, this is a draw. Rubin -apart from the miraculous result at Barcelona- has 2 draws at home, with both Barca and Inter, two teams stronger than Dinamo, but of course accustomed to different climate. In any case, Inter played with extra man and still Rubin held, Barca had a game domination and Rubin still held. Dinamo on other hand has shown a very good perfomance in the group, and in away games, 1 defeat after a very good game in Barca and a 2-2 draw at Meazza vs Inter. In last game, they were just unlucky to lose to Inter and tonight they have to avoid defeat to hope for qualification. In my mind, Rubin is so hard to tackle at home, while Dinamo gives any game a good fight and draw should be a result to look for in this game. Draw leaves both teams hopes alive here and it is an expected outcome when two more or less equal teams collide. I can't expect any of them to lose easy here and that 3.50 should be tried low stakes, if you ask me. GL! he also posts here at PL, u should also check his other picks this round: http://bettingadvice.com/showPredictionsLeague.php?idMenu=204 IMO one of best punters around whole betting scene, decent quality stuff!! P.S@ Xaralas : If u are there mate and don't want me to post ur pick, plz PM me ;)

    maximize.gifUnirea Urziceni v Sevilla (19:45 GMT) 3.55 3.35 2.34 100.75 %
I think Seville offer great value here. They have already qualified but will surely want to win their group so I expect them to be too strong for Unirea. Seville destroyed both Rangers and Stuggart on their last outings and I expect them to do the same here. Unirea have not been convincing this season in their league so far and currently sit in 6th place after 14 rounds - although only 3 points of 1st they have only won 7/14 (50%) of their matches. They did hammer Rangers at Ibrox but this was a bit of a freak result in my opinion and are nowhere near as good as that scoreline suggests. The fact that they have to play their home european matches in Bucharest dosen't help their cause. Probably a bit risky venturing into the handicaps (will need the line ups first) so will most likely go for the Seville win at around 2.30.
BE Careful with this bet!! Sevilla is already qualified for next stage and despite weekend win against poor Teneriffa you should take in mind that coach Jimenez was without nine players. As Sevilla is about to break into Barca/Real dominance, sitting only 3 points behind table leader Real, I am sure he will rest some important players in CL clash, too. On the other hand we will see motivated Romanian team, which could cement their promotion to next stage with first home win... This is exactly one of those clashes, which bookies love. Many bettors see only the big name and great form of one team like Sevilla, even don't care about unusual high odds (should be around 1,80 under normal circumstances) and totally forget about lack of motivation. I think Sevilla will fully concentrate on League in next weeks, cos it seems to become one of best recent seasons of this club...Would recommend to await team news, and if too many key players from first team missing to lay Sevilla, especially if players Navarro, Navas, Kanoute or Fabiano will be rested.
  12. Re: World Cup Play -offs - Nov 18th

It's all very simple. France v Ireland.France -1hcp. Platini has already called the referee and spelt out the benefits of France qualifying for South Africa. He will also offer the referee the option of having some big games in Cape Town during the WC and has emailed him some brochures of some top class hotels he may select for his time there. Michel will also be entertaining some guests tonight at the match and doesn't want to look like a fool if the French don't qualify. He has alsoo been practising some nice poses for the camera when it zooms in on him during the match.Last words to the referee,"I don't like to squirm in my seat or to do facial twitches in front of the camera, so an early sending off would be nice also".
    :lol:rollin:ok
  13. Re: World Cup Play -offs - Nov 18th first leg was already a "card feast" in Portugal - B&H match and I expect even much more intense in this one, nobody in each team cares about a yellow card anymore, and if match will be at draw in late period, we could easily also see an overreaction by disapointed hosts... Expekt offers nice 2,10 for over 55 "card points" (10 for each yellow, 25 for each red card), and I give it a try with small/medium stakes :hope

  14. Re: UEFA Europa League » Oct 22

And it's just Lille. It's no megapower .... it's Lille a mediocre team from an even more mediocre league.
hilarious post, really, mate you should inform a little bit better before posting here :eyes FYI Lille only lost 1 in last 10 matches from all competitions, and that one was away from home against PSG. At home, they even got draw against Valencia, top team from to say it in your words "superior" Primera Div. : in5swj.png They played well against Genk & also demolished Slavia Prague away from home, but ok, "Lille is a mediocre team from mediocre league",I see :dude.Interesting all three CL teams from this mediocre league, won their matches this round, but who am I to judge over Liverpool or Bayern, those 2 other more mediocre teams, right? :lol Personally I would never bet against Lille when they play at home, but your decision mate, if you trust more in Names & League strengths, go for it, play Genoa or X, a team which lost 4 of their last 6 matches, being on downtrend atm!!
  15. Re: Champions League » Oct 20/21 Sevilla trio to miss Stuttgart match Sevilla will be without Renato, Andres Palop and Abdoulay Konko for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match at Stuttgart. Renato ended his side’s 1-0 weekend defeat against Deportivo La Coruna complaining of calf cramps prompting coach Manuel Jimenez to leave the Brazilian midfielder out of the squad. Goalkeeper Palop’s calf injury is more serious than initially expected, while French defender Konko has failed to recover from a virus. On a brighter note, forward Luis Fabiano returns to the team after a late arrival from international duty with Brazil forced him out of the Deportivo defeat. Source : www.betinf.com

  16. Re: Champions League » Oct 20/21

Inter v Dynamo is a must win for Inter no question....
hmmmm...mind games from "The special One"? "This isn't a decisive game there are still four games to go and 12 points up for grabs. It's an important game as it could mean calm or pressure," Mourinho told the press. We have two points. A team with 11 or 12 can qualify. It will be difficult for us, but not easy for Dynamo."
  17. Re: World Cup Qualifiers 10th October 2009 Denmark – Sweden (Sa 10 Okt) Like in every Qualification in this late stage we will see more maths calculation by teams: Table leader Denmark (18 pts.) meets second Sweden (15 pts.) at home, Portugal (3rd with 13 pts.) plays the Hungarians. Table constellation indicates the Swedish must go for victory, but their record especially away in Copenhagen, where Danish team is generally difficult to defeat, don't suggest that they can do their job done, but will do everything for at least a draw at the end of the match. Despite having talented people like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Elmander, Larsson or Källström they didn't play a good qualification, especially draw in Albania & defeat at home against danish team were hurtful and let teram falling back in table. Lucky wins after miserable effort like 1-0 in Malta indicates this team didn't find itself so far, they are badly fighting even against lower class teams. Denmark in turn will surely be very motivated against their scandinavian neighbors not to lose. Draw against Sweden and victory against Hungary is enough for a first place. Even 2 draws could probably be enough... Danes will play without Grønkjær and Kahlenberg, Sweden without Central defender Hansson, but there are other strong players like Mellberg and Majstorovic to compensate him equally. EPL striker Elmander is doubtful. Danes' absences will be a a bigger blow especially for their offensive power. I think we will see Bendtner on wing and Soren Larsen as central forward in this match, skipper Jon Dahl Thomasson probably as a hanging support. IMO Denmark will make clear the tickets for South Africa in their last match against Hungary and won't hurt their neighbors too much. Portugal will probably win at weekend, and if two scandinavian teams play draw we would see a real qualification final with then equal at points Sweden and Portugal in last round! There is of course the possibility that Portugal stumble at home against Hungary. However, it is an unlikely scenario - although the Portuguese played really a crap qualification so far... I expect a really defensive match: Denmark conceded 4 goal in 8 matches, Sweden with awfully strong defense with only 3 conceded goals! Expect a 0:0 or 1:1 here, so played with medium stakes: Denmark - Sweden X @ 3,40 Bet3000 Under 2,25 goals @ 1,90 Pinnacle GL @all :)
