  1. Re: NBA Sunday Gona go against u on the Phoenix game. sportstab r offering the line at 3.5 so will get on that one with medium stakes. The Suns consistent all yr so will keep on them until they prove me otherwise, while on the other hand Portland have been up and down. Love the way Nash is working thei offence, and getting the most out of Amare, so looking forward to how Portlands D will match up. Agree with u on the weakness of their schedule so far, but as you know the majority of their wins have all come pretty big, and in regards to their losses, Clev, Sac, and Minny, they were all pretty dam close. OT, 2 and 4 respectively. GL looking forward to a good game!!

  2. Only 2 games : Houston@Dallas and Clevland@Denver Holding off both these 2 games at the moment because of uncertainty about starters. Houston allready without C Ward, look now to have lost T Lue as well at PG, while Dallas has M Daniels with a ankle sprain, but will play with somewhat limited movement. The other big one is if C Anthony will play, listed as probable, but a game time decision. Def wont touch that game until I know that outcome. In addition K Martin will play but with back spasims that may cause him problems. So comments much appreciated if anyone knows any more info. At this stage though, am looking at taking Houston +7.5. Their season is on the fast decline, and they really need to turn it around now. Will they win? probably not, but the points seem a little much for a team that is getting desperate. They have the talent there with Yao, Tracey, and Jackson, and can play enough D to keep it close the whole way. Will take Denver at the PS if Anthony is playing, if not though will jump on the under. 186.5 I believe. Clevland will b finishing a 3 game rd trip, the first 2 of which they have lost. They could well be tired, and playing at altitude wont help. Add to that their poor record away to Denver, Id say it works in favour of both picks either way. Cheers

  3. Re: Six Nations Just to add. Ireland definately have the best draw, getting both England and France at home on Feb 27th and March 12th respectively. I guess adding that to their current form, they've probably got their best shot at it for a long time. Odds @ $7 are available, but if so inclined would wait till just b4 the Eng/France game to get on. Cant see them taking it though.

  4. Re: Six Nations Gidday! Don't claim to b an expert on the 6 nations, but would add 2 things to what u've said. 1) Would definately add France to the mix as well. Would somewhat disregard the lopsided result at the hands of the ABs. The ABs played an outstanding game, 1 of the best performances Ive seen from them for a while. France did it tough too through injuries, which most importantly saw Michalak have to move in to half-back. This young fullah is gona b a superb player, and seeing him back in the number 10 will surely make France a contender. Add to that a very good recent victory over the OZs, and the fact that they are defending champs, they could b value. 2) My pick at this stage would definately b England though. Surely they would have won that game v OZ if theyd kicked their goals. They didnt play well and only lost by 2. They are an improved team from the last 6 nations, and at this stage theres no reason JW wont b back so that fills a giant hole. It seems he may end up shifting to inside centre (where he started his career) to allow Hodgson to stay at 10. Either way having him back should add an average of 4-10 xtra pts a game for the English. England also gets the advantage this time round, of facing the French at home. H Paul might b lucky to stay in the mix, but if he does then for the 6 nations I think he would b the perfect bench/impact player. Would also like to see Dawson back too. Will wait to see how the odds react to the weekends matches but would have to say my money will be on the Poms this time round.

  5. Re: International Rugby 26-27 November Kia ora fullahs, Comin from a Kiwi point of view here. Completely agree that the OZs arent playin brilliant at the mo, but at that price, on Englands current form, and without JW Ill definately b on them H/H and the Points start. Also, patriotism involved here, but, like the odds on the Blacks too. France got done by Argentina, and although NZ only just came out on top over Wales its was pretty much a B team. The result gave the boys a lot of confidence so at those odds I think they r value. Also watch out for young Daniel Carter now and in the future. This kid has allready made a pretty good name for himself internationaly but he'll want to cement his spot at first five for the ABs. Im sure he'll become one of the ABs greats and wouldnt b suprised if he kick starts that rise buy gettin that AB backline firing wit several trys this weekend Cheers GL.
