  1. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 4th - 8th Morecambe - Southend League 2 England Saturday 8/3 16:00 Prediction: Southend Odds: 2,50 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: WilliamHill We predicted Morecambe to lose away to Plymouth in the last round, and they got battered 5-0. Currently Morecambe are placed 16th in the table, aweful form not winning in the last 10 matches. It´s not an easy place to go to, Morecambe. But even though Southend has/have some defensive worries lately with key-players in defence out injured, we predict them to win here. Southend is a good outfit, has not been at their best lately, actually not winning in the last 8 matches. Has got more cover defensively now since J.Egan joined. Southend cant really afford more slipups. Southend to win!

  2. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 4th - 8th Mansfield - Newport League 2 England Saturday 8/3 16:00 Prediction: Mansfield Odds: 2,75 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 This is a interesting game, Newport currently placed 10th in the table. With rather weak form, only won one of the last 10. Played out two draws recently at home, on probably the worst pitch in the UK, this must have sucked out a lot of energy from the players. Not away to Mansfield who is an physical outfit, big strong lads. Mansfield has done quite well recently against some tough sides, ok they had an off day against Bury, but wins against Southend and Fleetwood impress. Mansfield are probably boosted here by the returns of Jennings & Riley. We think this game could be a tough one for Newport who has really played two tough matches at a horrible pitch recently. Mansfield has had more rest and we think they will win this game. Keep an eye on midfielder S.Clucas!

  3. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 4th - 8th Accrington - Chesterfield League 2 England Saturday 8/3 16:00 Prediction: Chesterfield Odds: 1,95 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 We have gone against Accrington several times this season, and we predict them to be up for another tough battle here against top side Chesterfield. Accrington placed at 22nd place, have not won at home since November, and now lost 2 straight matches. We dont think they are good enough, as we have mentioned at several occassions this season, they tend to often do very silly mistakes, easy defensively errors. And a good side like Chesterfield could really hurt them. Chesterfield have been consistent all season, well balanced team, good depth. No real injury problems. Whats interesting here is that reading between the lines in some of the interviews ahead of this game, it looks like the Accrington players/staff are already focusing on the more "important" game against Morecambe on Tuesday night. All games of course important, but it´s not against Chesterfield needs to win to secure their League 2 status for next season. Cant really see how Accrington would get a result here.

  4. U.S Cremonese - Sudtirol Lega Pro C1/A Sunday 2/3 14:30 Prediction: U.S Cremonese Odds: 1,83 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: WilliamHill Cremonese currently placed 3rd in the Lega Pro C1/A, 7 points behind leaders Entella. Cremonese with good form, only lost 1 out of the last 10. Now facing a Sudtirol 9th place who has lost two straight games and have only won 2 out of 11 on the road. On top of this, they are missing some players ahead of this game. Especially in defence they will have to make some changes here. U.S Cremonese has invested some good money in their squad and has their sights on promotion. They have brought in some decent players with Serie A rutin. Cremonese lost the away game 3-1, and we predict them to take revenge here!

  5. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 1st & 3rd Plymouth - Morecambe League 2 England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Plymouth Odds: 2,10 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 Plymouth placed 8th and just behind the play-off spot. Coming from a couple of great wins, especially their performance away to a tough Fleetwood (4-0) was very good. Before that another great performance away to Degenham (2-1) Plymouth look´s to be on fire at the moment. Hard working, good team spirit and offensively in great form! Morecambe has weak for, not won in the last 9. Even though they done quite well this season we expect them to come up short here against a Plymouth who look´s good at the moment. 2,10 is decent. 1,85 in our eyes.

  6. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > March 1st & 2nd Carlise - Brentford League 1 England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Brentford Odds: 1,92 Stake: 6/10 units Bookmaker: Nordicbet Brentford, how will they react after losing their first game in over 4 months? We predict them to get right back on track! Carlise is a weak side, despite getting a few players on loan lately they lost at home to Rotherham 1-0 but it could in all honestly have been a lot bigger goal difference. Brentford is a really good side, consistent and they play with high tempo, some speedy players that will hurt Carlise. Defensively we don't think Carlise has what it takes to match Brentford's attack, and pace.

  7. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 1st & 3rd Burton - Accrington League 2 England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Burton Odds: 1,83 Stake: 5/10 Bookmaker: WilliamHill Burton placed 5th against Accrington placed 22nd. Even though Burton have a difficult period behind them, only winning 2 out of the last 10 we have no problem backing them here against a Accrington. Burton won the away game 1-0, and we think Accrington will have some problems here, especially with one player in Burton. Zeli Ismail. Like we mentioned before, Accrington is nothing special, easy errors. Burton is a good team, and they will challenge for promotion. We think Accrington could be relegated. Good chance here for Burton! 1,83 is decent, should be closer 1,65.

  8. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 1st & 3rd Rochdale - Oxford League 2 England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Rochdale Odds: 2,20 Stake: 6/10 Bookmaker: NordicBet Rochdale is one of the best teams in the division at the moment. They are the best home side in the division winning 11/17 here. Oxford is placed 4th, just behind Rochdale in automatic promotion. 2 points separates the teams, even though Rochdale has one match in hand. We are not very impressed by Oxford lately, even though they are the best away side in the division they haven't impressed us lately despite only losing 1 out of the last 10. In our eyes there are no doubt which team is the best at the moment. We back Rochdale here. In our eyes Rochdale should be closer to 1,90 here.

  9. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > March 1st & 3rd Northampton - Bristol Rovers League 2 England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Northampton Odds: 2,50 Stake: 4/10 Bookmaker: Coral Great job by ex Oxford coach Wilder on Northampton so far. Northampton look's at the moment as the most hard working team in the league. They have also added some quality upfront lately which has payed off. Two straight wins now, against tough teams. Bristol Rovers are a decent team. Played well away to Scunthorpe, but was lucky to get a 1-1 equalizer in the last minute on Tuesday. Unfortunately for Bristol Rovers they lost a key player to injury against Scunthorpe, A.Gow. A blow for Bristol Rovers. Northampton are impressive at the moment. They work so hard and even though Bristol Rovers are a tough nut to crack we predict Northampton to take yet another win at home!

  10. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 1 Barnet - Woking Conference Premier England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Barnet Odds: 1,85 Stake: 5/10 Bookmaker: Bet365 We are impressed by by Barnet at the moment. Currently placed 3rd, won 5 in a row with good performances. Good at home, winning 9/17 matches. Woking lost 3 out of the last 6 and are facing some injury concerns here. Not ideal situation to have so many players out for a tough away game to an in form Barnet! http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/.../inconsistent-cards-lose... We back Barnet here, on form and Woking with some tough injuries. 1,85 looks ok, many others around 1,70.

  11. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 1 Braintree - Hyde / Luton - Alfreton Conference Premier England Saturday 1/3 16:00 Prediction: Double: Braintree + Luton Odds: 2,02 Stake: 5/10 Bookmaker: Ladbrokes We have a very interesting weekend ahead of us, so far it look's like it's going to be a quite a few bets. We start of with a solid favorite double from Conference Premier. Braintree with several games in hand, currently placed 16th in the table, but will advance since they have up to 6-7 games in hand to most of the teams above them. Coming from a solid performance at home to Cambridge on Tuesday night, a game they won 1-0 and in which they kept Cambridge out from any dangerous opportunities for most of the game. Braintree plays well when they play the ball along the ground, and we especially like Bernard Mensah who we think could tear Hyde apart with his speed. Hyde not showing much, even though they are probably better then their league stat. Luton has at several occasions this season, and especially lately showed that they are a class above the other teams. They have won the last 3 matches with a total goal difference of 17-0. Alfreton are placed 4th in the table and has capacity, but reading the thoughts from them ahead of this game they rightly seem to have huge respect for Luton (to big respect?) Solid double in our eyes. For example, Expekt with 1,73 here.

  12. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday February 25th

Oldham - Milton Keynes Dons League 1 England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Oldham Odds: 2,70 Stake: 4/10 Bookmaker: WilliamHill Oldham currently 14th in the table, coming from a sligtly unfair win against Gillingham (1-0) Usually pretty decent at home and we think it should be a good chance here against a MK Dons even though they still missing a couple of players. MK Dons have had some real injury concerns lately and it dont look much better for this game, last weekend they could only name 4 players on the bench. Oldham usually causes teams some problems here at home, remember the Peterborough game were they came back 1-4 to win it 5-4, we think Oldham will win this one.
    2,70 then, 2,30 now ..
  13. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26

Hereford - Macclesfield Conference Premier England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Macclesfield Odds: 2,75 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: Bet365 Hereford currently placed 18th in the table, lost 3 in a row with the goal difference 0-12. They are better than that, but we can see them struggle again, now at home to a potential and always offensive dangerous Macclesfield. An Macclesfield currently placed 12th in the table, have shown doubtful form recently losing 2 in a row, but played Luton and a capable Woking. This is a must win for Macclesfield if they want to keep their play-off hopes alive. They have 3-4 games in hand to the teams above them, and we see Macclesfield as a play-off team. Hereford obviously with major financial crisis, and a form that is not very impressive. However they are despite all of field problems a decent side. However Macclesfield have a few players offensively that could really hurt Hereford. Away win for us!
    2,75 then, 2,25 now ..
  14. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26

Dartford - Aldershot Conference Premier England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Dartford Odds: 3,25 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: WilliamHill Dartford on fire at the moment. We predicted them to win on Saturday at home to Hereford, and they won 2-0 after a wondergoal from L.Noble, an absolute volley screamer from outside the box. If you haven´t seen this goal, goal of the season, lower divisions? See link:
So, Dartford now with 3 wins in a row, 4 wins in the last 5 and it´s a very positive tone around the club at the moment. Dartford have really picked themselfs up the last few weeks. This is quite a tough game for Dartford, Aldershot has potential. Currently placed 2 positions above Dartford in the table, on the same points but 2 games in hand. Aldershot have only won 1 in the last 6, and usually struggle on the road. We predict Dartford to continue their momentum here, and get another important win!
    3,25 then, around 2,75 now.
  15. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26

I think that's still value' date=' even it is less value than it was earlier in the day. Given Aldershot's less than watertight defence, and their unfocused midfield with the continuing absence of Mark Molesely, I think 2.5 is about par for Dartford.[/quote'] Agree, 2,50, 2,60 seem right mate. But 3,25 was massive value. Feels good to sit with this one now at 3,25. Good luck everyone and thanks for all brilliant work!
  16. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26

I am going to take my chances on some big prices in tonight’sSkrill Premier action.

    Braintree v Cambridge United

Finally Braintree get to play a home game and I think they areworth backing at 7/4 with Coral to gain three points as well. Braintreereturned from their enforced winter break by playing really well againstKidderminster on Saturday. Granted they blew a two goal lead, but it wasunderstandable that they would maybe feel the effects of not having played forso long late on. Cambridge have been awful in the league for a few weeks nowand have only beaten Tamworth in their last 7 league matches. They didn’t evenhave a shot on target against Wrexham last week. To be fair they played reallywell in both legs of the FA Trophy semi-final to beat Grimsby, but they justhaven’t been the same in the league. I think Braintree offer value tonight.

    Dartford v Aldershot

Dartford were successful Nap’s on Saturday, although they were abit lucky to land the spoils as Hereford played really well and it was a wondergoal which killed the game off. Still it continues their great run of form andthey host an Aldershot side who continue to struggle on the road as their drawagainst Hyde showed on Saturday. Dartford are 11/5 with Bet 365 which makes nosense whatsoever. How on earth they aren’t favourites to win this game I don’tknow and that is huge value.

    Hereford v Macclesfield

As I mention above Hereford played much better on Saturday thanthey have of late and I think they are value to win tonight now they are backat home. The three games they lost were all on the road and when they lastplayed at home they were actually getting results. Macclesfield seem really inconsistentat the moment and their away form hasn’t really looked anything special allseason. They have lost four of their last six on the road and one of the winswas against Hyde. At 21/10 with William Hill Hereford are the value call here.

    Kidderminster v Woking

Woking are another frustrating side as they seem to struggle toput to good performances back to back, but hopefully they will do tonight asthey take on a Kidderminster side who are struggling big time since Andy Thorntook over as manager. They have only won one league game since he took over andit is rather suprising why they continue to be so short in the betting. Wokinghave the players to beat them tonight and if they can play like they didagainst Macclesfield then they will win. Like I say they aren’t the most consistentbut at Paddy Power’s 5/2 I am more than happy to take a chance.

    Luton v Wrexham

In seasons gone by this would have been a massive game, but not sothis season as Wrexham have struggled, whilst Luton are almost certain to winthe league. They have been incredible and it is hard to see them slipping uptonight against mangerless Wrexham. Instead of taking the short odds I think itis worth backing Luton to cover the -1 handicap at 6/4.

    Southport v Grimsby

This is the riskiest bet of the night but then the price reflectsthat. Grimsby don’t really convince me at all and they have only won one leaguegame in the last six. They were knocked out of the FA Trophy on Saturday andthat I think will affect them going into this game. Granted Southport arestruggling a little, but they are pretty hard to beat at home and they playedwell despite losing 3-1 to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday. At Skybet’s 18/5 Ithink it is worth chancing the home side.

    Tamworth v Chester

A relegation battle here and I am siding with Chester who seem tobe playing better than their hosts at the moment. Steve Burr is getting aresponse from his players and they were unfortunate not to get the win onSaturday against Lincoln. Tamworth meanwhile left it late in the day to get apoint against Welling. That was only their second point in the last five gamesand the other one came against Hyde. I think Chester have enough to beat theirhosts and are worth backing at a general 9/5.

Value on Dartford long gone. When we put the prediction 23/2 22:45 it was 3,25, now its between 2,80-3,00. Agree on Southport, we had them last game away at 9,96 and it werent that far away. Grimsby not in a good state atm.
