  1. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Sunday December 29th Cheltenham - Mansfield League 2 England Sunday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Cheltenham Odds: 1,83 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: WilliamHill Game review: Cheltenham placed 10th in the table, haven't lost since mid October (11 games) 3 wins in the last 4. Struggeling Mansfield placed 21st hasn't won since early October, 13 games without a win and 8 losses in the last 9. Mansfield in their last game away to Rochdale created nothing, and this should be another tough task for them.

  2. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sunday December 29th Shrewsbury - Preston North End League 1 England Sunday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Preston North End Odds: 2,30 Stake: 4/10 Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Game review: Preston met our expectations away to Carlisle in their last game, were they won 1-0. Preston showing good form, and their already good squad is here boosted by the return of offensive duo Gardner & Davies. Shrewsbury nothing extra, lost their last game at home to weak Tranmere 1-0. Preston has been very consistent this season, and are a clear promotion contender in our eyes. Preston is actually better away then at home, brilliant 11-7-3-1 away is good stats in this tough league. We think Preston will continue to build on their great form.

  3. Re: Sky Bet Championship > Sunday December 29th Huddersfield - Yeovil Championship England Sunday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Huddersfield Odds: 1,83 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Game review: Agree with previous writers, Huddersfield - Yeovil Championship England Sunday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Huddersfield Odds: 1,85 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: WilliamHill Game review: Huddersfield placed 14th in the table, has a couple of encouraging performances behind them. Brighton away, and Derby at home. Slight question mark on key-striker Vaughan & centre -back Gerrard, despite this they have a good chance at home to Yeovil who is placed second from bottom, and is a rather weak away side with only 2 wins in 11 matches. Huddersfield has got some good results here at home against far better teams then Yeovil and we think they will have a good chance here for all 3 points!

  4. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sunday December 29th Gillingham - Walsall League 1 England Saturday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Gillingham Odds: 3,75 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 Game review: Are we in for a surprise here? We think so. Gillingham a physical side, rather tough to play against. Have played rather tough teams lately and done quite well. Currently placed 15th in the table. Walsall have done well this season so far, but we think they have over performed. They have only scored 23 goals in 22 matches, and they lack consistency. Walsall also lost away their last game to weak Bristol City after a unconvincing performance. Gillingham has a chance to surprise here. 3,75 represents value. Many others around 3,20 which is more accurate.

  5. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Sunday December 29th Portsmouth - Northampton League 2 England Saturday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Under 2,5 goals Odds: 1,80 Stake: 2/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Game review: Portsmouth placed 17th in the table, against bottom placed Northampton. We expect a tight affair, both teams have problems to score. Portsmouth with only 5 goals in the last 8 games, Northampton has only scored 17 goals in 22 matches, and 4 goals scored in the last 8 matches. We can see Northampton coming here with a defensive approach, as usual and few goals expected. Under 2,5 goals our bet.

  6. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sunday December 29th Coventry City - Oldham Athletic League 1 England Sunday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Coventry City Odds: 1,94 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Pinnacle Sports Game review: Another brilliant performance from Coventry against Peterborough, clearly a Coventry in form and with great confidence. Always creates plenty of chances, up here against Oldham placed 18th with weak form, injuries. Have not won against Coventry in the league in 22 years. Must be a good chance here again for Coventry who looks really good at the moment.

  7. Re: Sky Bet Championship > Sunday December 29th Blackpool - Brighton Championship England Saturday 29/12 16:00 Prediction: Brighton Odds: 2,75 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 Game review: Blackpool without form, lost 4 out of the last 5. Currently placed 10th in the table. Injury concerns ahead of this game, striker Grant injured and joins the already stretched squad, they also have defender Broadfoot suspended. Paul Ince; "It’s another blow for us.” "When you look at our bench there are a couple of kids on it,” “We are down to the bare bones again Brighton lost away to Charlton after an unusual defensive weak performance, other then that their form has been quite good. Brighton currently placed 9th in the table, we expect them to put in a stronger performance here than a few days ago against Charlton. Blackpool away is a tough game, but we expect to see a better Brighton here against a team who has some squad problems.

  8. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Boxing Day Burton Albion - Northampton Town League 2 England Thursday 26/12 16:00 Prediction: Burton Albion Odds: 1,85 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: Ladbrokes A team in form, who are placed 5th in the table against the bottom team and weakest away side in the division, with on top of this some internal problems and no manager. Burton, 5th in the table. 4 points behind leaders Chesterfield. Burton is a stable team, pretty tight team with the goal difference 25-22 in 21 games, good form having won 3 out of the last 5, and with 2 draws. Northampton, the team that reached the play-off's last season is currently having problems both off and on the pitch. Bottom placed, but only 3 points up to secure ground. Away stats is terrrible, 11-1-2-8 (5-16) They have failed to score in 7 out of the 11 away games. Out of form having won only 1 out of the last 5. Burton is a well balanced team, organized defensively and should have a good chance here at home against a week away side who is not only without form, but also without a manager, even though that their As coach leading them now temporary.

  9. Re: Chelsea v Swansea City > Boxing Day Chelsea - Swansea City Premier League England Thursday 26/12 16:00 Prediction: Chelsea hcp - 1,5 Odds: 2,08 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: PinnacleSports Game review: Chelsea heading into this game with a solid performance away to Arsenal were they drew 0-0, after yet another brilliant tactical setup by Mourinho. Chelsea currently 4th in the league, just 2 points behind leaders Liverpool. At home Chelsea are a force to be recon with, and we expect Swansea to have a tough Boxing day afternoon here, and their task wont be easier with the string of injuries that has reduced the squad selection, latest player to be injured, key striker Michu who is set to be away for up to 6 weeks with a ankle injury. Swansea is decent on the road, and M.Laudrup is a great coach who we one day will see coach a big team. However, Chelsea away on Boxing day, their task could be easier. We think Chelsea have a good chance to cover the handicap here.

  10. Re: England > Boxing Day > Skrill Premier Dec 26 Lincoln City - Grimsby League 1 England Sunday 26/12 14:00 Prediction: Grimbsy Odds: 2,45 Stake: 6/10 units Bookmaker: PinnacleSports Game review: Derby game between struggeling Lincoln City placed 18th in the table, and with only 1 win in the last 10 games. Up against Grimsby who is placed 3rd in the table and playing very well, Grimbsy has recoreded 5 wins in the last 6 games. Also h2h fanastic stats for Grimsby here, not losing to Lincoln in 12 games. But what makes this match even tougher for Lincoln is the fact that they are missing a handfull of players, there are five definite absentees and all of them would have been considered starters. Grimsby clearly the better side, fantastic h2h stats here in this derby, Lincoln missing players. It must be a good chance here for Grimsby! We have no problems giving Grimbsy 46% here (2,17) here.

  11. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Boxing Day Coventy City - Peterborough United League 1 England Sunday 26/12 13:00 Prediction: Coventry City Odds: 2,50 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Coral Game review: 13th placed Coventry against Ferguson jr's Peterborough United placed 4th in the table. Coventry lost away to a good Swindon side, Coventry played very good football, their pressing game, their passing. It was a top level performance, despite the loss. Coventry has a good team and should advance in the table. Played well overall recently except a couple of setbacks at home against Tranmere & Rotherham. Only Swindon has scored more goals at home than Coventry, but no team has conceded more goals at home than Coventry, so they really need to be more focused in the defense, but lately it has been looking quite improved. Striker C.Wilson should be back here after injury. Peterborough won at home to Bradford in their last game, and are in a good period. Undefeated in the last 3 games. However havent won away since mid October and we think they are really gonna be up for it here against a Coventry side playing very well. No doubt Peterborough is a good side, but little bit to weak away, and inconsistent to be a direct promotion contender? Coventry good chance here if they can play the same way as against Swindon

Carlise United - Preston North End League 1 England Sunday 26/12 14:00 Prediction: Preston North End Odds: 2,30 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Game review: 17th placed Carlise enteres this game losing their last game to a strong Walsall away 2-0, before that Carlise won at home to Crewe & Wrexham who is both situated in the lower part of the table. Preston lost at home to a Brenfort in absolutely hysterical form 0-3. But Preston is a good side, currently placed 5th in the table, one of the stronger away sides in the division with 10-6-3-1 (16-9) Much of their play is surrounding experienced striker K.Davies, and best goalscorer Garner. What makes this game particular interesting is the fact that an already weakened homeside got another couple of injuries in their last game, so all in all now a handful of injuries for Carlise. To quote their manager: "We got two during the game and we're back down to the bare bones of the squad" Preston sometimes lacks a bit of creativity, but they should really have a decent chance here on Boxing day. Really a good away side, playing a team with some problems. The last 4 between these sides have gone to a draw, hopefully Preston can get all 3 points now! 2,30 looks like decent value, we expect this one to be closer to 1,95 before kick-off, if no unforseen circumbstances occur. Kind regards,
Carlise won at home to Crewe & Wrexham .. Tranmere obviously ..

  14. Re: La Liga > December 20th - 22nd Getafe - FC Barcelona La Liga Spain Sunday 22/12 17:00 Prediction: Halftime/Fulltime X-2 Odds: 4,40 Stake: 1/10 units Bookmaker: Bwin Game review: Getafe away is not an easy game, of course FCB should win this game. But they have some heavy missings here, Messi, Neymar, Xavi, Puyol, and Pique a questionmark, Adriano suspended. We predict hometeam Getafe to sit back heavily here, and we think they can keep up with FCB the the first half. But we dont think they can frustrate FCB for 90 minutes. FCB is to good, still with all these missings. Our bet is a draw at halftime, and Barcelona to eventually win the game. Shall we say 0-0 ht, 0-2 fulltime?

  15. Re: Bundesliga > December 20th - 22nd Borussia Moenchengladbach - Wolfsburg Bundesliga Germany Sunday 22/12 15:30 Prediction: X2 Odds: 1,70 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: Bwin Game review: Two teams in fantastic form, BM 4th in the overall table with a home record of 8 games, 8 wins 23-5 goal difference. Quite impressive. Wolfsburg just behind them at 5th place. Wolfsburg showing great form winning 6 out of the last 8 matches. Gustavo, Diego are high class midfield players in Wolfsburg. You can read the statements between the coaches, players ahead of this game that they share big mutural respect for eachother. We expect a tough game, and maybe can Wolfsburg even win this one? We play it slightly safe and take the double chance X2.

  16. Re: Ligue 1 Orange > December 20th - 22nd Paris Saint Germain - Lille Ligue 1 France Sunday 22/12 21:00 Prediction: Under 2,5 goals Odds: 2,03 Stake: 2/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Game review: Quite suprised by the odds here, the french league is a extremelly low scoring league. Of course PSG has a class team, but now playing a very good Lille, with an excellent defensive record in the league. PSG placed 1st in the table, Lille on 3rd place with a goal difference of 20-6, the best defensive team in the league. Lille has been scored against twice in the last 11 league games. Incredible. Also head to head between these two they have gone under 2,5 goals in Paris 5 of the last 7 games. Further PSG missing striker Cavani who has returned back to Uruguay for temporary personal reasons. Lille with a brilliant goalkeeper Enyeama, and a excellent defensive record will probably come here yet again to play defensive. In our eyes under 2,5 should be favourite. Can easily see something like 1-0, 0-0 here. Lille deserves respect.

  17. Re: Belgium > Jupiler Pro League > 2013/14 Zulte Waregem - Oostende Jupiter League Belgium Saturday 21/12 20:00 Prediction: Oostende +1,5 hcp Odds: 1,70 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 Game review: Quite interesting game, looking at the table hometeam Waragem should win this quite comfortably. However, we dont think it will be that easy. Waregem currently placed 4th in the league, only losing a single match so far in the league. By far the best hometeam in the division with 10-9-1 (24-9) decent form with 3 wins and 2 draws in the last 5 matches. However, playing an Oostende who started the league very bad, lost 7 out of their first 11 matches. But after that, they improved and are currently one of the strongest teams in terms of form. Winning 4 out of the last 5 matches, and playing quite well. They have improved and is a tricky team to play. We take them on asian +1,5 hcp meaning they can afford to lose with one goal, but we still win the bet. The brave punter here looking for an away win to odds around 8,00. Might be a bigger challenge here for Waregem than most people might think. No doubt they are a good side, but Oostende has improved lately.

  18. Re: Belgium > Jupiler Pro League > 2013/14 Hi from Gibraltar, a few thoughts: Waasland Beveren - Lierse SK Jupiter League Belgium Saturday 21/12 20:00 Prediction: Under 1,5 goals Odds: 3,25 Stake: 2/10 units Bookmaker: Bwin Game review: Two teams in the bottom of the league with enormous problems to score. Waasland Beveren has gone close to 10 hours in the league without scoring a goal, Lierse has scored 7 goals in the last 9 games, and they scored 4 in one game against Cercle Brugge end of November. So we are not really talking about two teams known for the offensive capacity here. Also the importance of the match has to be taken into consideration. Maybe both teams are more careful with the starting point than to risk losing? Further also only 3 goals between these teams the last 3 matches.
