  1. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem April 12 Aldershot (3,00) look's quite likely like the bet of the round in the Conference, away to Macc's .. Maybe can even Hereford get something at home to Gateshead despite their difficulties? Look's like an incredible interesting weekend, already 2 really good bets in League 2. Hopefully a few as good in the Conference also. Good luck guys!

  2. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Saturday April 12th Plymouth - Oxford League 2 England Saturday 12/4 16:07 Prediction: Plymouth Odds: 2,30 Stake: 7/10 units Bookmaker: Unibet Looking at the table this should be a close affair. Both teams just outside the play-off positions. Crucial game but no doubt in our eyes who is the better side at the moment. Oxford were for long periods in play-offs but the last couple of months they have just been completely out of shape. The whole situation regarding their coaching issues has hurt them. They have won 1 out of the last 10, been absolutely shocking away lately losing 0-1,0-3,0-3,0-3. They simply dosent look any better than an ordinary side at the moment, if even that. Plymouth is a team we like, which we have backed a few times this season. A couple of brilliant performances from them this season, even though they currently are on a bit of a bad run only winning 1 out of the last 4 they have played rather well and they are in our eyes clearly the better side, confidence is a big part in football, and Oxford lacks confidence in every department at the moment. Plymouth also boosted here by the return of key striker Lewis Alessandra who is very important for Plymouth. Have to be a bit brave here, seriously we would price this one at 1,80. So obviously there will be higher stakes for us on this one. 7/10 units.

  3. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Saturday April 12th Exeter - Cheltenham League 2 England Saturday 12/4 16:07 Prediction: Exeter Odds: 2,38 Stake: 6/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Despite absolutely horrendous h2h stats against Cheltenham we back Exeter here. Exeter is currently placed 20th, 4 points safe of relegation so they really need a few more wins to secure league 2 status for next season. They have lost a couple of games in a row lately, but they have done ok the last month. They tend to concede soft goals and that is something they need to work on. If they can replicate the performances away to Plymouth and at home to Fleetwood they should have a good chance here despite missing important skipper Coles. It's quite interesting info from the Cheltenham camp. Thy are currently placed 13th and should be safe of relagtion zone. Motivation does not seem to be on top, they are talking about trying some new players, some young lads who havent played so much this season. On top of this a few injuries in training the last few days. Cheltenham is a strange side, have capacity, but tends to lack a leader, and seems to break under pressure. Backing Exeter here on motivation, Cheltenham dont really look that motivated and we think they are up for a tough afternoon at a clearly more motivated Exeter. Few quotes from coach Yates on the Southend performance, "I can't wait for this season to end" "It was pathetic from the players and I'm really angry with them for that. "I'll take the blame, they're my team and I get that, but the players have got to stand up and be counted" "Maybe it's time to give one or two kids a game in the next one" Cheltenham simply dosent bother any more ..

  4. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10

2014 my score on the England Conference bets (P, North and South) 23 picks +273 units profit +341% yield Win-Loss-Void: 4-18-1 Stake avg: 3.5 Odd avg.: 13.1 Staked: 80 Returned: 352.56 Guiseley - Gainsborough Trinity Past games Guiseley scored a fantastic run, even beat the leaders Telford 6-1 at home (!). If wasnt the bad start of season, Im sure they would be higher placed. Now with a lots of fire on attack, can see Trinity get at least 4 tonight at the Nethermoor Park. Tip: Guiseley Goals Over 3.5 at 4.50 Sportingbet 8 units
Fantastic job, great to see someone providing stats! Keep up the good work!
  5. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 We are happy with our 2 only bets .. However, Alfreton-Aldershot looks like a close, tight game. 0-0 in halftime? Luton will destroy Tamworth 5-1? Kidderminster & Hyde & Southport might surprise .. Welling to win comfortable and cover the hcp .. Braintree should win at home to a Macclesfield who is horrible on the road and just waiting for their holidays .. Grimsby-Woking? Both teams to score maybe .. Should be an interesting evening, good luck all!

  6. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Welling - Hereford Conference Premier England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Welling hcp -1 Odds: 3,25 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Hereford winless in the last 12. Lost 4 straight games. Players have not been paid in 8 weeks, and rumours speaking about turbulance around the club, dressing room. Lost their last game at home to Woking 0-2, but could have been a much bigger victory for Woking as they were clearly the better side. Now Hereford away to Welling, a Welling who is quite ok. Always a tough nut to crack away, how motivated are the Hereford players? We are quite confident Welling will win but thinks it's better value in the hcp -1 odds. Might be worth looking at even -2 etc also. Hereford in freefall at the moment. Players not motivated.

Peterborough - Gillingham League 1 England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Peterborough Odds: 1,73 Stake: 6/10 units Bookmaker: William Hill Not often we back a favourite to these odds, however this looks like a quite strong winner. Gillingham with some horrendous defensive performances lately. Peterborough could with a win here take a big grip on the play-off position. Peterborough has some players that could really hurt this Gillingham side. No hesitation from us, homewin!
William Hill now cut the price down to 1,60. Took a couple of hours ..
  8. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday April 8th

Thanks mate' date=' I will follow you guys with a straight home win. You think both Brentford and Peterborough should win? Don't have much experience in this league, so asking for some advice. Trying to learn ;)[/quote'] Quite confident of Peterborough, I can't really say I'm as confident of Brentford. Crawley as mentioned often raise their game against better opponents. Something we have seen at several occassions this season. To be honest the Brentford game could be closer than most people think, maybe they win, but with the odd goal? Good luck with everything Peitch, in this business you learn every day no matter how experienced you are! Cheers,
  9. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday April 8th

Thanks' date=' what about the BTTS in the Peterborough match? Gillingham scored in 15 of their 19 away matches while they concede in 17 of their 19 away matches. Peterborough scores in 14 of their 19 homematches while they concede in 12 of their 19 homematches. Last 2 meetings both went over 2,5 and BTTS.[/quote'] Tough call mate, as mentioned we really think Gillingham's out of form defence will struggle against Peterborough's offensive players, Peterborough quite surely to score, can Gillingham score? Possibly, Peterborough can be sloppy in defence from time to time, could see something like 3-1 here. But Peterborough should be to strong for Gillingham. Good luck!
  10. Re: Sky Bet Championship > Tuesday April 8th

Hi Boggen. Firstly let me say I really enjoy your posts and think your tips are up there with the best on this site. I also agree with your reasons for backing Nottingham Forest on the fact that they need a win whereas Sheffield Wednesday do not. I'm a Sheffield Wednesday fan and while I agree with this summary to an extent, having not watched much of Forest lately I can't comment on if they are in a state to start to bounce back from their recent poor results at this moment in time. What I will say is that we looked very good on Friday night, and although we can be very inconsistent on the road recently, we either dominate the game or don't turn up. Antonio looked class on his first game back for us and his efforts were rewarded with a goal. While I will say that Forest have a lot more to play and do have a very good squad capable of turning their results around, I think the safer bet would be BTTS @ 1.83 with Bet365. Both teams have been leaking goal recently and Sheffield Wednesday have problems in defence as you highlighted, however we looked very strong going forward against Leicester, even more so with Antonio now back in the side. We could have easily scored more than the one goal against Leicester. For me I am just not sure if this is the game Forest will get their first win or not and so to me the BTTS option looks a lot more appealing. Bet - BTTS @ 1.83 with Bet365 (5/10 stakes) Also I will have small stakes on - Antonio AGS @ 6.00 with Bet365
Appriciate it Smurf, Good luck with your bets! Cheers,
  11. Re: Sky Bet Championship > Tuesday April 8th Nottingham - Sheffield Wednesday Championship England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Nottingham Odds: 1,93 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: NordicBet Sheffield Wednesday in no mans land, nothing to play for really, and also some concerns here in centre defence as a couple of important players are out. They played quite well against Leicester but lost 2-1 away. We think that game took a lot of energy from the team. Nottingham have had a horrible few months, winless in the last 10. Incredible really, they are a capable team. Now with a few players back from injuries/suspension. Nottingham has all to play for, currently 5 points behind Reading on 6th place. We think this is a good time to back Nottingham against a Sheffield Wednesday who is weak on the road, has defensive problems and nothing to play for. A must win for Nottingham if they want to have a chance at a play-off spot!

  12. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday April 8th

What about Brentford? Easy win against a poor performing Crawley?
Looking at Crawley who looks like being on a bad run at the moment, they always raise their game against better opponents. They tend to play better against stronger teams, but Brentford should win this one. No value in our eyes. Adjusted odds. Peterborough a better pick!
  13. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Tuesday April 8th Peterborough - Gillingham League 1 England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Peterborough Odds: 1,73 Stake: 6/10 units Bookmaker: William Hill Not often we back a favourite to these odds, however this looks like a quite strong winner. Gillingham with some horrendous defensive performances lately. Peterborough could with a win here take a big grip on the play-off position. 14. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Luton - Tamworth Conference Premier England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Luton OVER 3,5 GOALS Odds: 4,00 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: William Hill Luton obviously the best team in the division, and will win it without any problem even though they have had a couple of not s good results lately. Now they play a Tamworth in free-fall and basically needs to win this game to have a chance to stay up. How a desperate, and young Tamworth team still with many injuries will get something out of this game is hard to see. Their defence is just not good enough, silly mistakes and when they play better teams they will be punished. Luton scored 4 goals away and we recon them to score plenty at home to. Over 3,5 goals on Luton here is a bet we like! 5-0/5-1?

  15. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10

As Gamblergb points out' date=' Ferriby have been light for a few weeks now - at Workington, particularly, it showed. They are paying the price for not strengthening properly in the window, with most of their money going on ground improvements. Personally, I think there is value in Staly as they have been playing okay without being able to put games to bed - that should be the reason for backing them.[/quote'] Spot-on! Its all about value, looks like clear value here on Staly!
  16. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday April 5th

Port Vale - Walsall League 1 England Saturday 5/4 16:00 Prediction: Port Vale + 0,5 Odds: 1,952 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Pinnacle Sports Walsall missing their top scorer here who is suspended after a silly attack in their last game. Clear minus for Walsall. Port Vale 2 points behind Walsall in the table and won the away game back in November. We recon this to be a close game, Port Vale will put up a fight. We back Port Vale on the asian hcp here which means a draw is enough to win the bet! The brave one backs Port Vale straight win to around 4,00.
    1-0 WON!
  17. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday April 5th

Coventry - Milton Keynes Dons League 1 England Saturday 5/4 16:00 Prediction: Coventry Odds: 2,80 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 Coventry with decent form, currently placed 13th and safe mid table, if it weren't for their point deduction they would be in a position to get the 6th and last play-off spot. They haven't lost in the last 3, won 2 of them. Have a few player returning here. MK Dons currently placed 9th, 6 points behind Peterborough in 6th place. However MK Dons hopes for a play off spot has taken a serious knock over the last couple of matches were they lost twice at home. Also suffering from some problematic injury situation, quote from MK Dons coach K.Robinson: "Ben Reeves is a big loss, it looks like he is going to be out for the season, and it just destroys us in terms of what we're trying to do this season" "People ask where our goals have gone, but this season our leading goal-scorer Patrick Bamford has left, our second leading goal-scorer Shaun Williams sold, then our leading assister in Samir Carruthers injured and gone and now our current leading assister in Ben Reeves out" "Take those stats out of any team in the country and they'll struggle, and it's no different for us. It's as simple as that. It's incredible, I don't know how the hell we're still sat ninth to be honest. We like 2,80 here, more like 2,45 in our eyes.
    1-2 lost!
  18. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem April 5

Wrexham - Macclesfield Conference Premier England Saturday 5/4 16:00 Prediction: Wrexham Odds: 2,20 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Wrexham coming form a few decent performances despite losing two in a row, now they are at home to Macclessfield who rarely impress on the road, they have lost 6 out of their last 7 games on the road and looks quite unmotivated at the moment. We give Wrexham a decent chance here. It's time to get a win after a few decent performances lately! Around evens in our eyes.
    1-0 WON!
  19. Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem April 5

Kidderminster - Grimsby Premier Conference England Saturday 5/4 16:00 Prediction: Grimsby Odds: 2,62 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: Coral Kiddermnister currently placed 10th, 5 points behind the play-off. Undefeated in the last 6. But has some injury and suspensions and we think they are up for a tough afternoon at home to Grimsby who are placed 3rd and won 2 straight matches. We back Grimsby here.
    0-1 WON!
