    Re: Fancy an i-Pod Nano? No Valium....I think that if the prize pool doesn't reach the $250 needed then no Ipod will be given away. Silly silly boy! And you should fold AA in future. I would enter this for a laugh but i am still in SO limbo edit.........and i stand by my earlier decision that I would have to sleep with Bonnie Langford should the opportunity arise.

Can you sort this out or shall i take the funds from the account and put it in another site. This has been going on for 2 days now and I am losing my patience. This is disgraceful and I know that others have had the problem and it has been sorted. Yet I am still waiting. I hope you can sort this very quickly and that you feel that you should somehow make up for the poor service. Danno375

    Re: Goal Poker I know I am repeating myself here............. But.............. When I won a prize....( trip to geneva to see England v Argentina ) it was a bit nervy while waiting for contact to give me the details. BUT....... When GoalPoker did contact me they sorted everything out in no time and were totally brilliant. I think Fenners will back me up on that. What I am saying is that I sympathise with everyones concerns BUT trust them. They came through with a fantastic prize despite my worries that I wouldn't hear anything. Trust GP. I do and commend them on their poker site, if not on the clarity and speed of info. I know this is important but them do look after you! I hope I can set the odd worried mind at some kind of ease.     Re: how are you supposed to play against these morons? i have won some money for the first time in at least 2 weeks!!! came second in short handed table!!!!! i was ok and average with all 5 players in. then AOL crashed and i was sat out for rest of tourney until i could sign in again.................when i got back it had finished.......i came second by being sat out. new tactic? danno

But if you have read the posts I have been putting ( and not saying that you haven't been reading them ) you will see that I am losing with my good strong hands, and quite often to people with a whole load of not very much. This was for me...... a bit of an experiment with a more aggressive style. Didn't work!!!!!!! With regard to the 10 10..... I wanted to give my hand the chance to develop and folded before I had but too much in. The A9... I have been losing to people who run with A6 like it is AA so again, I experimented to see how far I could puch it without devastating my stack. Although I lost these hands I do think I laid them down reasonably well, if a little late. As Mr Valium has said, we play similar.........both of us can be painfully patient. But the cartoon paranoia has the software playing against me, " how can I get danno to put his chips on the line and then screw him?" So it gave me the trip kings. Some part of me said that I should have folded the king when there was an ace on board. But I can't fold every decent hand because someone might have hit a monster or I would not play ANY hands at all. Just happens that they DO keep having monsters?! or they make the monsters on the turn or river. That has been my point in all of this. Either I wait and wait for a great hand, getone, and then someone is dealt better or i get a decent hand and the other bloke gets rags. Even with raising they call or raise and hit miracles. king to knight 3 Valium!

    Re: The Muppet Hands Well we have drawn a bit of a line under this now but i will sign off by whinging about the last game i played. If anyone is reading this then perhaps you can tell me what i did wrong. hand 1. 10 10. bb seat 1 raises to 90 i reraise to 210. he re raises to 350ish. i call. flop is a q x. i raise to find out where i am about 150. he goes all in. i fold. hand 2. a 9 o. i call into the hand. seat 1 raises to 250. i call for the flop and it comes xx q. he goes all in. i fold hand 3. k 10 off. i call into the flop. flop lands a k x. seat 1 bets 200. i think and then call...( he can't have something every time surely?!). turn comes.... k should be safe. i check. he goes all in. i call in a flash and he shows .... AK!!!!!! now i know it ISN'T fixed but what are you supposed to do!!!??? Hee hee.... dead true and i was out in 3 hands. went to another table, 5 handed again. same again!!! seat 1 raising everything (different player). i get pair of 5's and put in a 5 x raise. seat 1 calls and flop is q 10 x he has raised every hand in the game so far. he goes all in, as he has done about 5 times in the last 7 hands. I am bored and think screw it! ( tilt?) i call and he has q 10. two pair and i am out. The first was to show that i can't win any hand at the mo...( although if i had called one of the early hands he might have had nothing. The second was to show that i made a terrible call but that is what frustration does! Analyse away
