  2. Re: Had a bad beat ? Come and have a moan here I am going to shoot myself just played the $10 heads up tourney on sporting dogs was looking great to get to the money stages and ****ing santa is my opponent. i had him in the bag three times and and three time he made the most lucky straight! Should have been out three times I am more angry than ever before. Three bad beats in one heads up game is taking the piss f@ck sporting odds cash games earlier.... three bad beats again.... had enough even Mr Valium can't believe it when he watches my games. Totally ****ed off won't be popular but the amount of miracles dealt by sporting dogs .....it has to be fixed. too many in very ****ing close proximity....too many days of this wnak SPORTING ODDS IS FIXED ONCE MORE

  3. Re: FAO PAUL ROSS-GotaFancy-Valiant23. I don't know the full facts of what you may think you were promised, what was promised and what is or isn't being delivered to you Chelski...... BUT..... don't leave PL. You have the perfect platform to air your views and distrust in Goalpoker. You are shooting yourslef in the foot if you leave here......that is the exact opposite of what you should do. If a poker site pi$$ed me off (god forbid!) I would look for somewhere like this to discuss and warn other players about it. I think that those that HAVE received prizes from Goalpoker are more than happy..... so the prizes are great. If you were due one and aren't getting it then that is another issue. But it is important to view all aspects of Goalpoker. They were great with me,,,,, call em as you find em! If you are not so happy then this is the perfect place to say so. I know that if I wasn't a part of Punterslounge and I had been "done over" by a poker site I would be googling to find somewhere like this to get advice what to do, warn others and generally discuss it. Leaving because you are worried (I may have misunderstood this) that you will give other puntersloungers a bad name or reputation is plain silly. Number 1..... we all HAVE a bad reputation as it is and 2....... you don't represent us. And even if you did I don't think that many would give a flying fook if you gave us a bad rep. Ok, maybe not totally true as Pocketlady has her position as a police chief constable to consider but you get my drift. If you are CERTAIN that you want to leave Punterslounge, let me give you a proper reason. Leave because that Danno375 is a right tw@T. I have considered leaving because of him several times but I put up with Danno375. Even though he gets on my tits by being dead clever and handsome! So if you want to leave PL.. do so because you can't stand Danno375. I would. Danno 375

  4. I have received the following Email from that nice man at Sporting Odds, Joe Legge. He has been browsing some of the threads and has answered some of the questions that have popped up from time to time. I also think he may have seen some of my rants!!!!!! I have explained that they are a joke and I still would love to get the rake back and the great offers!!!!!!! What he says should explain a few things, and I do think that Jo is a good guy. He has always helped us when we have asked him. Dan, I'm glad we're winning you guys around. Below I've tried to put your mind at rest over a few points which I have seen you raise on the Punters Lounge. 1) Software Crashes - far too frequent for everyone's liking. The Boss upgrade last week has hopefully made the platform much more stable (the immediate problems afterwards we're unfortunate but predictable - unfortunately after major upgrades it takes a couple of days for things to settle down). I'm at the mercy of Boss and out IT team here so I don't like to promise to much but things are getting better...slowly. 2) Poker Response - i'm in Gibraltar for the next two days to meet the Poker Response team. The fact that we have three different teams in three different locations answering queries is not something I am comfortable with. I hope to lay down some guidelines for them which treat problems in a unified manner which doesn't always assume it's the customers fault. 3) Double Registering - motivated in large by our Fraud Team we do spend a lot of time closing down duplicate accounts based on bank details, IP addresses and such like. Our main problem, especially with the Hungarians who are harder to trace, is that while we do get players complaining they invariably don't actually name names. It's not an easy job trying to keep up to date with them so as much help as possible is needed from dissatisfied players. 4) English Only Chat - as above. It's Poker Response who are supposed to monitor this for us and this is something else I will be talking to them about tomorrow. Once again I players don't give us names it makes it harder. 5) Software Auditing - this is not something I have to hand but I have no problems with making the documents public when I find out who holds them. In the end it would be very bad business to have dodgy software and as we make rake no matter who wins it would have no financial benefit to us to fix decks. 6) Overnight Currency Conversion - we change our currency exchange rate at the end of every month to be in line with the Bank of England (this figure is taken to 6 decimal places) - this means that your balance could go up or down. However, in sterling you never actually lose any money to us if it does go down. For example, if you have £100 in your SportingOdds account on the 31st this may equate to $161.40 in the Poker Room. On the 1st once the exchange rate has changed you may now only have $161.28 in the Poker Room but this is still £100 in your account. All sites who bank in Sterling but allow play in USD have to do this as if they fell to far out of kilter with the exchange rates it would lead to problems which would cause many sleepless nights for accountants across the country. Regards, Joe :clap :clap :clap :clap Thanks Joe!!!!! Danno the ranter!

  12. Re: Had a bad beat ? Come and have a moan here same old crap from sporting odds....... already got bad beat by someone calling a large bet with a 6 v my aj hit two pair on the flop.... then i wait for a calling hand.... get q j and then Sporting Odds does its usual trick of doling out the straigh to the big stack who called with nothing. He had the right to due to the straight and the bet couldn't put him off but why does this happen so often to me at the moment. The dealers are giving me the cards to get involved then leaving me short changed at the end in every game. Oh well Morris13: --, -- bulldog5: --, -- santa7: --, -- BennoIsOnl: --, -- ste2: --, -- danno375: Jh, Qs turbob1: --, -- 19&19: --, -- fabrizup: --, -- Pre-flop: santa7: Fold BennoIsOnl: Fold ste2: Fold danno375: Call 150.00 turbob1: Fold 19&19: Fold fabrizup: Fold Morris13: Call 150.00 bulldog5: Check Flop (Board: 9d, Qc, 6d): Morris13: Check bulldog5: Check danno375: All in Morris13: Call 305.00 bulldog5: Fold Showdown: danno375 shows: Jh, Qs (a pair of Queens) Morris13 shows: Js, 10c (high card, Queen) Turn (Board: 9d, Qc, 6d, 7c): River (Board: 9d, Qc, 6d, 7c, 8s): Morris13 shows: Js, 10c (straight to the Queen) Mainpot: Morris13 wins the pot of 1060 with straight to the Queen So you see....... can't blame the bloke for calling but the dealers at sporting odds are gonna get a slap
