  1. Re: Everton v Swansea City > Sat 12th January

BTTS looks dicey on Swansea away. This season 7 of 10 games would have failed this bet. Swansea have also been an under team away from home. 7 of 10 games under 2.5 goals away from home. So what prevails, Everton at home BTTS or the low scoring affairs of Swansea away ? It's a real 50-50 shot for both of these reasons. Thus I'm not to sure if 1.72 is too short for Everton. I would go this way over the other 2 options. You win with the 1-0 and the 2-0 where they both fail the other 2 bets. I think this outcome is more probable than the BTTS or the over 2.5 goals. Everton really look solid. Very unlucky not to beat Chelsea (should have been 2 -0 up), and they were excellent against Newcastle last night. I am going to delay my bets until I know the starting line ups, but am leaning towards the Everton win.
Your right to wait..However if there is a bogey side for Swansea...Its EFC...last 16 meetings. 12 efc 4 draws..0 swansea. And this starts a crucial point in the season for EFC, 4 EPL games..3 home 1 away..SWANSEA, West Brom n Villa....with Saints away.. To the squad that played last night, Coleman will be fit, Mirallas will be fit...And Gibson will be in the 3rd week of the projected month out.
  2. Re: FA Cup > 29th Dec - 7th Jan

Man City + Middlesborough double @ 1.32 (Stan James) 10/10 I know it's hard to pick a winner in the cup third round but these are two sides I can only see winning, regardless of how many changes they make. For City this is their best chance of ending the year with silverware, a defeat is unthinkable for Mancini and a draw would be extremely annoying for them too. 7 points behind in the league and out of Europe and the league cup; you'd have to say City will take the cup seriously. In the other game, I just looked up Hastings' league and they are in the same division as two sides local to me, Wingate & Finchley and Enfield Town. This is really a very different standard of football to the Championship and whilst they have done fantastically to get this far, it should be noted that Hastings have managed to do this without playing any opposition above the Conference N/S level (one level higher than they play). It will be the highlight of most of these players' careers but I can't see them getting anything from Boro, even considering Boro will have the league as their main priority and may rest players. I think anything above 1.1 contains some value for each of these two home wins.
I agree with all the above, but I would like to throw Spurs in the mix here...They are on a run at the moment, and with Bale set to play without fail, he alone should have too much freedom. But we overlook the depth Spurs have even if they do make changes. Caulker Huddlestone parker livermore dempsey Friedel...all set to start, far to much for Coventry to handle. Spurs have pedigree in this competion, that wont be lost on AVB, He will know the tradition. As for coventry they have other plans this year, coming off a defeat at home the other day, they are 2 wins off the play offs, that is were the priority is...And it is there for them, if they get over the latest blip. But for this game, expect changes. Man city Boro Spurs MAX Treble...1.56 most firms. gl
  3. Re: FA Cup > 29th Dec - 7th Jan

There's no doubt that Norwich are the best value of those games. Peterborough's defence has been nothing short of dire and Norwich are basically 2 leagues in front of them. Man city also look value to me at around the $1:18 mark. Watford conceded 4 at home to charlton on the weekend ' date=' if man city is in the mood any things possible.[/quote'] Man city, will want to put on a show here...why?, advertising, young support...£5 entrance for under 16 n students n pensioners in this game..£15 all others..expect a full house...And no reason for any stars to be rested if fit. Yes they will win imo
  4. Re: FA Cup > 29th Dec - 7th Jan

Could Norwich fit into that bracket? Peterborough have been pretty dire this season' date=' shipping goals galore, and probably have bigger relegation issues. Norwich have had a decent season so far, can probably my relax a little as their relegation issues don't seem too big. They have goals in them, and a small enough squad not to make too many changes. A decent manager in Chris Houghton too. I can see them getting past Peterborough certainly, and going on a little run.[/quote'] Yep they r on my llist...Put in a shocker against villa(cup), when they needed to rest for prem l...they now need another 4 wins and 5 draws, that will see him safe, thats very achievable, and he owes the fans 1..300/1 ish..aint bad..
  5. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Wed 2nd January

Coleman Jags Distin Baines...EFC unbeaten when this has been their back 4 this season..BTW Naismith brings nothing to the table IMO, was carried again tonight, and Neville was chasing shadows..surely his time has gone... There is no doubt Mirallas is potentially the best player at the club, when he is fit, he will terrorise defences in this league.
Also top of the shopping list has to be cover in goal...Howard can be dodgy at times,,crosses especially...and the backup keeper is div 2 at best. wot u think?
  6. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Wed 2nd January

Coleman at RB does not improve our defence on that what was played tonight, and we do miss Jags in the heart of the defence. I know he's still young, but if ambitions are to be to build on these improved performances this season and try and be a regular push for top 4+ rather than top 7+ then having Coleman at Goodison til 2018 doesn't enthuse me. A good RB is needed in January, I'd like Micah to come, even on loan - Man City owe us after we let them have Rodders on the cheap (sarcasm ;) )

Just watched the O'Neill interview after the Liverpool game and he said Sunderland ran out of puff in the second half after a promising start. To be fair I don't think he was making excuses, Sunderland do have a small squad and it is a concern. The other issue to consider is that after the Bolton game, Sunderland play several teams in and around them in the prem, important games so I think you have a point with regards to O'Neill's priorities. I'll wait for further developments but right now it looks unlikely I will pull the trigger with Sunderland all things considered. I've noticed centre-forward James Constable will be suspended for Oxford Utd against Sheffield Utd, he isn't a prolific scorer this campaign but does seem to play a fair bit. I would ask Oxford fans (or anyone in the know) how important a miss will Constable be?
Pretty imprtant id say,,,Last 10, when they have been on a run,,,unbeaten when he played,,netting 6 ,,,1 goal in 2 for oxford carear from midfield is decent IMO
  8. Re: FA Cup > 29th Dec - 7th Jan Just about the hardest weekend of football matches to predict, this is chritmas come late for the bookmaker..If you can predict a treble you will do well. I myself feel its a great opportunity to pick 4 or 5 Ante post to lift the cup, then if you get thru, the price will collapse by half in many instances...Finding the teams that want to win this cup or get as far as they can for the money is the key. My ante post to follow.

  9. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January

I honestly couldn't have agreed me with this one. I mean, who honestly could? So I went and bet BIG in this game to find out that QPR have got first win under Harry Redknapp, and what I night to get it! :cry I'm not a sore loser, but my god have some freak results cost me big recently. For that reason, and that reason only, I'm going to hang up my boots for a while and let the bank balance recover. Chelsea looked tired and unorganised with the mindset that they could steam roll one of the teams in the lower half of the division. Due to these players feeling "fired" even though, lets not forget the fact some are raking in over £100,00+ a week, I just can't believe it. What a night to forget! Good luck people. I need to really re-think my strategy. Tonight I thought was nothing but money in the bank. What do I now, huh? :puke
I am very sorry to hear this, i truly am. Buying money is an over used phrase. And people tend to forget that people only need a push along from some comment, when they are already most of the way there, to tip them over. Listen to yourself first, ask yourself many questions before parting with your money..And to be honest I would have laid them if I had a shop, Along with all the home sides tonight... I digress, your money management has to be looked after, it does not matter what you put down, so long as you have back up..I work on a factor of 33..i.e 33 times against my MAX i can afford to be wrong...and then double your bank. So even if your backing in £1 per point..you need £660. We dont have a crystal ball, were going to be wrong, thats why its like that. You say freak results...Are they? analyse them..lets see were you went wrong, what could you have done pre match diffrent?..You sound like this was the last straw..let it be for a while. Come back in a month or two, with a plan and zest to your punting,,reduce your liabilties..small steps again..Small acorns, you know the rest... Its a long old marathon this game, but if its winning a battle, let it go,,,come back and win the war. And remember the EPL is the most dangerous to assume of all leagues...Especially big odds on at home and away. GL m8, and remember when you come back, get your Bank right first, before you put another bet on. GL again;)
  10. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January

What a fcuking disaster that was..
Football is about passion and money, to a proffesional footballer... QPR players are fighting for every inch of grass, because next year who knows were their big eage is coming from...And passion because they were called everything in the press and by their own fans..They played with passion tonight.. Beware the RABID dog!
  11. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Wed 2nd January

Referee: M Atkinson Assistant Referee: S Burt Assistant Referee: A Halliday Fourth Official: A Taylor I put this up for a reason...This MA gives out yellow cards, like free tickets into clubs in Ibiza... Averaging right on 4 a game, the over 20 points (10 points yellow, 25 points red) at 2/7..Is manna from heaven..Given the choice between backing this or Chelsea, I know in my mind which is IMO guranteed. Ive already backed it as I see this as Free money..Given both sides diciplinary records.
Martin Atkinson hits the average again....
  12. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Wed 2nd January

So 2-1 Everton in the end, quite pleased with my write up (without blowing smoke up my own arse). Everton showed why they don't win and often draw so many games with a defensive lapse early on, before creating and missing chances (see Pienaar and Fellaini) before Everton eventually took the chances that the leaky Newcastle defence were always going to give. Heres too many more.
wd m8.....But when you play the best English centre half in the EPL at right back,,,The opposition will always have a chance. All ill say is it will be his last game there for a while...Coleman will be there next week..And he will be back to centre half
  13. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January

No bet for me at the moment, as Chelsea may rest players here...That may just be there undoing. RB has players playing in a system, If he plays his best available, they should win by at least 2, However I have been caught out by Chelsea before resting players,,,They drew at home against Fulham a few weeks ago, off a simmilar price. I will check the sides out first, if he does rest players, they may become a lay, QPR are now like a rabbid dog backed into a corner, with a tiny bit of hope...They will fight tooth n nail here beware... GL all
QPR are now like a rabbid dog backed into a corner, with a tiny bit of hope...They will fight tooth n nail here beware... I was right...and talked myself out of it,,to lay them.@..There are no easy points in the EPL
  14. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Wed 2nd January

That was away though.... Are you expecting Everton to play with the same style at St. James?
They have played the same way in every game this season,,,Looking to be on the offensive at every opportunity... 17th of September previous game not August my appologies Newcastle krull perch williamson coloccini santon anita tiote marveaux obertan cisse ameobi efc howard neville jaielka heitinga distin baines naismith osman pienaar fellani jelavic
  15. Re: Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers > Wed 2nd January

Will be going for the card market' date=' first time i'm having this sort of bet, but I think there will be a fair number of cards, with Luiz, Cahill and M'bia (if they feature of course) looking likely to be booked, derby atmosphere and all.[/quote'] The card market tonight is at Newcastle...Martin Atkinson, deals them out like a poker dealer...Average 4 a game m8...Free money in that game
