Start Bank: 100pts Current Bank: 220.68pts Profit/Loss: +120.68pts I am so tempted to go for a draw again tonight but Turkey's severe problems with fielding a team (coupled with the rumour that their 3rd choice goalkeeper could be employed as a striker) makes that a bridge too far even for me. However, an interesting statistic is that all their matches in this competition have seen them go in at half time at 0-0 or 1-0 down. Also, 3 of the 4 quarter finals were 0-0 at the break. Therefore that's the road we'll go down tonight. Bet: 2pts Germany lead 1-0 at HT @11/5 2pts 0-0 HT @7/4 However, if they're 1 goal down with a couple of minutes to go, I'll be back on here throwing money at them. :lol

Re: SunDog's First Million That match was a cracker. Dublin has a lot of Russians but the pub I was in last night was full of people in orange t-shirts. When Holland equalised I cheered louder than anyone else in the place. I ended up chatting to a dutch girl who was quite taken with me until Russia went ahead in extra time... this time I was the only one cheering in the pub. I couldn't help it, they'd won me over. They weren't even good enough to keep out the 3rd goal and let me at least get something back on my under 2.5 goals bet. Looking at the Euros, I fancy Switzerland to do well - host nations always do (apart from Austria, of course, who are dire beyond words). I will be very surprised if they don't at least get to the quarter finals and the even money about them doing so has to be taken. In Group C any of the 4 could go through but, for me, Holland look very poor, not a patch on the teams they have sent to finals in the past. I also like the odds on David Villa to be Spain's top scorer. We all know how good Torres is - bookies included - but he doesn't bang them in for Spain like he does for Liverpool. Villa, on the other hand does.
