  1. Re: Olympiacos v Benfica > Tuesday November 5th I would agree your prediction Drac, somehow Olympiakos dont give me the confidence as I have seen recaps of their CL matches, and they seemed like a lucky little bunch, should have conceded 7 additional goals in last 2 matches. But the fact is Mitroglou is THE inform striker, converting any even small chances into goals. Benfica have restructured the team a bit, and they are finally putting together the "first eleven" as they have rotated heavily during the start of the season (due to some injuries and due to many newcomers getting a chance). I believe Jesus has crystalized his vision of the starting eleven, with Gaitan and Markovic speading through wings i think Olympiakos defence should have too much work on their hands. I do expect both teams to score (mainly due to Mitroglou´s form and Benfica´s attacking potential) and i just might go for the overs here. As has been metioned before me, Oly does seem to concede a lot of set piece goals, so I wouldnt be too shocked if any of Benficas CBs scored a header. Might cover both Luisao and Garay, just need to be sure they both start. the odds are around 12 for Garay and 15 for Luisao anytime scorer at bet365.

  2. Re: Paris Saint-Germain v Anderlecht > Tuesday November 5th The difference in class between these two sides is obvious. Ibra or Cavani not playing is only relevant if you were playing this game over 4,5... Every other market wont budge around this. PSG playing at home, with 3-4 players who are screaming for attention that should get a chance at starting the match. Anderlecht is a disaster defensivly, their atack relies solely on Mitrovic to lower the high balls to the wingers, or to try and do something on his own (this is the underdog tactic, when they play domestic league its a bit different). So all this enthusiasm regarding backing Anderlecht is overhyped IMO... I certainly expect a comfortable match for PSG (probably a handicap win)... The bench is long, players are not too tired after a leisure win on friday. I will definetly avoid backing Anderlecht for anything more than 2 units on a +3 handicap if it provides any value.. Everything else in this match just seems too ballsy or provides too little value. So a try with Anytime goalscorer Lucas (@ 3,00 on bet365) or Mitrovic (@7,00 on bet365) as the most likely scorer for Anderlecht (should they score at all) for a small stake ofcourse.

  3. Re: Serie A > November 2nd - 4th Udinese Calcio vs. FC Internazionale Inter are coming into this match after their local derby vs Atalanta, where they avoided defeat. Udinese has had its first defeat at home turf this season by Roma. I would expect Udinese to try and get a result here, they do seem like a more defensive minded team, but with the likes of Di Natale there is always a goal prospect on their matches. Inter has proven they do have some issues in the defensive midfield, which could be exploited and therefore supply to Di Natale should provide a couple of goal chances. On the other hand Inter do have the capacity to score here (probably more than 1). Given their current form and history between these 2 sides, I am certain we will see quite a few chances and most likely a goal in each net. Udinese absences: Basta, Maicosuel, Pinzi. (un)Notable absences for Inter: Chivu, Icardi, D. Milito, Campagnaro in Belfodil 6/10 BTTS @ 1,72 (bet365)

  4. Re: Serie A > November 2nd - 4th Agree with goal prospects on the Livorno-Atalanta match. Sampdoria - Sassuolo Calcio Sassuolo is seeking for their first away win, but here it seems they might have a tougher job than it seems on the first glance. The away team has begun accumulating points and they do seem like a tough little nut to crack. On the other hand, Sampa has had their work cut out their season by blowing early matches, so now they are moving in and out of the danger zone. This match is between 2 direct rivals for avoiding relegation. Sassuolo has an important absence in Zaza, given he was their most prolific attacker. Im giving this a small punt on the home side, the value might not be astronomic, but @2,10 im confident that Sampa will deliver today. 5/10 on Sampodira @ 2,10 (bet365)

  5. Re: La Liga > October 25th - 28th Its called betting prerogative ;) very little clubs are immune to it :) Sevilla, seems to have rested the squad, put up a less than decent show.. so I expect them to shine a bit despite certain absences. Not moving forward on HW coz it does seem way too short, as Osasuna seem to be temping up form. Any thoughts on goal markets?

  6. Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham > Sunday October 6th Thats why it pays taking the odd bet on such scenarios, can make you very happy for sacrificing a couple of € :) But last week hammered me heavily :( Anyways regarding spurs at home. So far i have seen a decisive manager guiding a team to some good football and results. The firepower is very potent and with AVBs playbook they do tend to get loads of chances vs teams such as todays rival. Home ground victories are crucial for this years EPL finish, and i doubt Tottenham will go into this lightly. West Ham should provide some space which could also mean an overish game.. There is no great value in the odds on HW, but it does seem like an easy bet. for me its 7/10 on Spurs @ 1.40 (bet365) 5/10 over 2.5 @ 1.80 (bet365)

  7. Re: Norwich City v Chelsea > Sunday October 6th Wouldnt quite agree, and definetly would be vary of any kind of goal markets. This game smells like a classic nip and tuck match. Chelsea should win by sheer experience and quality alone. But there are factors which suggest an offensive minded Chelsea will most likely overwhelm Norwich´s unimpressive defence, should they get a result early I would expect Chelsea to hold, as Mourinho has had his experience with "won" games before. Chelsea has had a good reinventing match vs Steaua during the week, such wins tend to boost underachieving teams, so i expect a good performance. 6/10 on Chelsea @ 1.61 (bet365)

  8. Re: Manchester City v Everton > Saturday October 5th City have been taught a lesson during CL clash vs. Bayern, Pelegrini is doing the same mistakes as Mancini, which is no regular first team, resting the only playmaker he has... This was probably a wake up call for City, as they have a very LONG bench, and extra talented players, I expect either Negredo or Jovetic in the lineup today, so when it comes to scoring goals City should have the fangs up front, should Silva start the match, i expect much more fluency in their game and many useful balls for world class strikers. Everton has rarely performed against top tier teams and even rarer to have snatched a result, they are just not a team of champions and it shows almost everytime they face a side with solid midfield and good atack. Given the fact City have been quite awful away i tend to search reasons for ppl backing Everton in that fact. And Bayern are 6 classes above Everton eventhough Everton is a cute side. So dont make the mistake of judging City on account of a home loss with the ECL champs. And not to mention that Pelegrinis selection for the wednesdays match was below par. 8/10 on City @ 1,60 (bet365)

  9. Re: Serie A > September 24th - 26th When it comes to Chievo, they tend to burn out during the match, and they concede as a result. Away they are more or less a decent side playing decent football. Dont let the score with Lazio fool you, it could be easily 1:2 at half and worse for Lazio should Chievo had more efficiency. This game we will see a defensive minded Chievo side, which can thwart Juves atacks in the midfield, and they will be less worried about scoring, so I think they can snatch a point here or a safer bet for some to go asian for a small stake. for me its: Draw 3/10 @ 4,33 (Paddypower) Chievo

  10. Re: Dutch Jupiler League 29-3 / 1-4 Finaly, someone who appreciates Jupiler league :) About Helmond, I can not help but noticing that this team tends to be an away team, rarely outplays anyone on the home pitch, but has a tendency to score 3 or more goals on away matches. I do agree that eindhoven is not the proper team to cause trouble for Helmond, but I would be cautious with backing Helmond on handicap, probably a safer bet to back overs in this game. I am still looking into other matches, but have to say i agree with your first post regarding the Oss away game, promising an BTTS.

  11. Re: Arsenal V Bayern Munich > Tuesday 19th February Hello all, when it comes to Arsenal playing home game in CL 1/8, They have yet to lose a game in front of the home fans. Ever since CL changed format and introduced 1/8 finals match, Arsenal participated in every season and has never lost a home game. Bayern on the other hand lost 6 away matches only to have won against Inter and Sporting in the same period and stage of the competition. Given the history, which usualy gives a certain insight in such match-ups I am more than willing to: LAY BAYERN @ 1,95 at bet365 - 6/10 ARSENAL DNB @ 3,00 at bet365 -7/10
