    Re: Jump Racing SAt 16th April I like Gone to Lunch as a decent Each Way bet for the Scottish National. He was well beaten last year when finishing second to Meringo but has c & d experience and has only had one race since then. That was in the Foxhunters at Cheltenham in March where he was never really in touch with the winner but did stay on well to finish 6th and would of been a good prep race. Best price at time of writing 22/1 with Bet365 paying first 5 home is too tempting for me to not have a little dabble.

    Re: Sweden allsvenskan July 22nd 2010 Hacken are 13th in the 16 team league and have a home record of won 2 drawn 2 lost 3 scored 7 conceded 9 and though they have only conceded 18 goals in their 14 league games which is the same as second placed Malmo their problem is scoring as they have found the net only 13 times so far. They have the worst form figures over the last 6 games of any other side in the league with 1 win at 10th placed Halmstad in that time. Their last home win was a 4-2 success over second bottom Trelleborg back in March and when they drew 1-1 at home to Kalmar in their last home game it was the first goal the home supporters had seen in 5 games. Helsingborg on the other hand are fine form sitting top of the league with a 5 point lead over second place Malmo. They have won all 7 home games in the league and have only lost once away which was the last game before the mid season break in mid May when they lost 1-0 to Kalmar. Their form on the road reads won 4 drawn 2 lost 1 scored 8 conceded 2, also in their last 6 games they have won 4 drawn 1 and lost 1. The only note of caution I would throw in is that Hacken have had the best of the head to head matches going back to 2000, with 4 wins and a draw in the 5 games played during that period, and the last 3 games have all ended up 3-0 to Hacken. I personally do not take too much notice of head to heads over a long period of time as teams change so quickly and there is always the argument that all runs have to break, for instance I cannot see a Hacken win by 3-0 tonight though out of interest you can get 40/1 in the correct score market on it happening! Helsingborg are 11/8 best price at time of writing with Corals to win tonight and though I think the price reflects the fact that this is the first game back after a break for both sides I feel it is still value considering the gap in form between the two sides. If Helsingborg win tonight that will lift them 8 points clear at the top of the league and put them in the driving seat for the Championship.

    Sam Cruise 6/1 e/w A 14 runner Handicap chase over 2 miles 7 furlongs on going that at present is described as Good to Firm, good in places and my choice is Sam Cruise trained by Sam Gollings and ridden by Aiden Coleman. The 6/1 best price with Betfred at the time of writing is too tempting for me not to have a bet as the selection was impressive last time out over course and distance when winning by 10 lengths earlier this month. He beat a useful sort in Sir Bumble that day and even recovered from an error two out to win easing down in the end. His main challenge should come from Victory Surge who should go off as favourite but who needs a bit more give in the ground, however any rain would be interesting. Another at a decent price which could be worth an each way investment is Classic Rock, though you would have to forgive his last run when he was pulled up in the race that Sam Cruise won. But for me I am happy to stick with Sam Cruise.

    Re: Bangor 21/07 (eve) 6.40: Neutrino 16/1 each/way. An interesting handicap chase run over 2 mile 4 furlongs with some good horses involved. One that i like the look of at a good each way price is Neutrino. He won over course and distance at the beginning of June and if you discount his last outing when he was a disappointing 6th of 8 at the end of the last month at Stratford he has for me the ability to at least make the places. He seems to like the Bangor course having won once and finished third in two of his 3 previous runs there. Another plus is that Tom Scudamore who rode him to victory in 2 of his last 3 races is again on board. The going is set to be good, good to firm in place which should not present a problem to the selection as he has won on this going similar to this in the past. The level of opposition is a step up for Neutrino but in his last win at Worcester he beat a horse rated 132 so has the ability to cause an upset as his rating at present is 117. At best price generally of 16/1 at time of writing he to me is the each way value in the race. Yellow Flag with A P McCoy on board and trained by J J O`Neill is rightfully favourite and will be hard to beat but the best price of 5/2 does not appeal. After Yellow Flag the betting is pretty open with maybe Radetsky March another one for the each way value being 12/1 best price at time of writing.

    Re: Russian Premier League July 4th 2010 Zenit are unbeaten in the league after 10 games with 2 wins and 2 draws at home scoring 5 and conceding 2, while Anzhi on the road have played 4 won 1 drawn 1 and lost 2 scoring 4 and conceding 6. There is no value in going for a Zenit win today as they are best price 1/4 at time of writing but in a quiet day for betting certainly as far as football is concerned I am prepared to have a play in the under 2.5 goal market. That result is currently 10/11 best price with several firms. Zenit despite topping the league have only scored 13 in 10 league games whilst conceding only 3, and Anzhi in the same number of games have scored 9 and conceded 11. On the road Anzhi have scored 4 goals but they all came in one game at bottom club Sibir.

    Re: Kempton 2nd Nov 3.05 Kempton: Duc De Regniere (Win) Only 4 runners in this 2 mile 4 f chase but some decent sorts nonetheless. I am going for course and distance winner Duc De Regniere to take the race today just edging Pasco. The Duc is 7 lbs better of in the weights then Pasco and this i feel should give the combination of Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty the edge over Paul Nicholls and Ruby Walsh`s horse. The other two runners Battlecry and Sir Harry Ormisher if they were in form would have chances. But with 2 previous wins over C & D in the past i am hoping for third time lucky this afternoon.

    Re: Aintree - 25/10/09 3.20 Aintree. A good contest over 2 miles with the going at Aintree set to be Good i am going for Beggars Cap Each Way just to edge the consistent Leslingtaylor. Beggars Cap is a course and distance winner at the track which is a big plus in my opinion.He won back in May for the combination of Ferdie Murphy and Graham Lee and i feel he can repeat that form today. The ground is the same as on that day and he is carrying the same weight which is another bonus.

    Re: UEFA Europa League » Oct 22 Lazio to beat Villareal Lazio have made a slow start to their Serie A campaign this season sitting in 13th place after 8 games however their problem is not being able to turn draws into wins having drawn 4 of their 8 league games so far. They are on a run of 5 home games without a win in all competitions at the moment but i expect that to change tonight as they are always tough to beat at the Stadio Olympico and compared to Villareal`s form at the moment Lazio are positively flying! Villareal currently sit bottom of La Liga this season with only 3 points from 7 games and no wins. They lost at the weekend to newly promoted Xerez 2-1 and to put that into perspective Xerez had only scored 1 goal in their previous 6 league games conceding 12 at the same time,so confidence will not be high. So i will go for a Lazio win tonight as though 5/4 may not be the best price i would price it as an odds on home win.
