  1. @CzechPunter So you delete my comment, and leave Tim's bashing my post's. I thought that was the whole point of this to encourage people to give opinions and write analysis. Seem's pretty fair. I guess it must be nice having a personal towel boy.. Good luck on your bets and the Aussie open Czech.. I'l take a break from the site for a few months!
  2. Marketa Vondrousova to beat Shnaider @+120 with Circa Ekaterina Alexandrova to beat Navarro @+125 with Circa These are brainless system plays that I'm betting flat stakes. In my opinion this is not the time to favor Navarro to win matches, but that is coming soon. I've already been successful betting against Navarro in the last tournament.. She is big time player, but another difficult matchup for her early in the year.. As for the Vondrousova match .. I think the line is wide, I wouldn't favor shnaider to win. 1.9 for each player in my opinion is fair. And for the circus bet.. maybe Tinytim can tell us how Czech's boot's taste? We need to get Harry Rag back in the forum also. It was fun to have him bouncing around in here.. I guess we'll have to wait for the English swing. We love you Harry! Good luck fellas!🍀
  3. I would not bet a toothbrush on Korda in his next match.. I watched most of the Agut - Fokina match.. Early in the day i was considering betting Agut, but after some thought decided to just watch it, and see what happens.. I was suspicious of Fokina's form because he had some tough injuries last year. I have always been of the mindset that Fokina is an underrated player, and he's going to have his time in the sun at some point. There was some shanks from his racquet that I think are foolish of him to be doing, but maybe he can't help it. Regardless of that.. he was playing dangerously well, and close to 100% from what I saw. The match vs Agut was like a practice session that he was never worried about losing. Now you can say that he could dump for the Aussie Open, and I wouldn't disagree, but I would also say the same thing could be said for Korda. So, if those cancel each other out.. I am assuming Korda needs a few matches under his belt to find his stride, and don't trust him to win. Korda also dropped his first match of the year last season in Brisbane straight sets to Hanfmann.
  4. I like what you said regarding Lulu Czech. If she doesn't win in Hobart for whatever reason.. I am forecasting her to be very competitive at the Australian open and maybe she wins her opening round match in Melbourne as an underdog.. I think she is a highly skilled and dangerous player. Just something to look out for, but she is playing herself into form then with a loss to Marino.. Must have been alot of errors, but outside of that she looks fine. The concern is lack of success at AO, but she did win three qualies and earn entry last year. back to back 3 set matches, and then lost 5-7 in the second set to Cocciarretto.. Maybe thats not terrible, but she could be fresher this go round. She is higher ranked by atleast fifty points over every Aussie/nz player, and should be the most talented as well.
  5. It looks like a trap to me.. My first instinct was Gadecki wins the match outright.. I wasn't super impressed with Kasatkina form so far, and I feel like she could easily dump the match to rest before a grandslam, Gadecki is a player that I like to back, but dissapointed last time doing so.
  6. Ranking Underdogs in next series of matches. Please speak up if anything here strikes your fancy.. These are not bets, and leans only. 1. Vavrara Gracheva 3.27 2. Lulu Sun 2.48 3. Francesco Passaro 2.5
  7. Just want to be clear with you Neil.. Normally I wouldn't say anything, but being that Perricard is my big homie and favorite player.. Want to clarify that he is 6'8 inches tall. I was also concerned about the match vs Opelka, and something didn't smell right because I seen Opelka was playing unbelievable also this tournament. So, I stayed away from that match. Opelka was seeing the trainer in his last match with a hand/wrist problem. I haven't got the slightest idea to who will win the Brisbane finals, but I don't feel comfortable betting Opelka with some injury vs a quality opponent. I'd set the line closer though. Opelka 2.0 Lehecka 1.8
  8. Coco Gauff to beat Iga Swiatek @odds 2.30 with STN went back and forth on the match a little bit, but part of the system for me is to bet the qualified matches when there is logic behind the idea. Also, I will admit that I am betting this because I am excited about the match, and looking forward to the entertainment.. But, I wouldn't bet just for fun.. I also believe there is some value here!🍀
  9. WTA United Cup Analysis: Don't think I'm going to get involved in this.. I may have overlooked that Rybakina was a much tougher opponent than Muchova in these conditions. So we'll see how it shakes out.
  10. Ethan Quinn to beat Joao Fonseca @odds 4.2 with William Hill Quinn is a high level player. Tried to get this out earlier but when you're driving through hell keep on going as they say.. They got alot of toll bridges down here to deal with and it's hot.. Good luck guys.. Rolling over from last bet! 🍀
  11. get the broomsticks out.. I was tempted to bet Parks also.. I am jealous!! 🤩-Great catch L'assassino
  12. Aoi Ito to beat Sijia Wei @odds 1.73 with STN Cz post his play earlier, and I am tailing this, but for specific reasons. I did not know about Ito, and I watched all of her recent available video. This play falls into my superstition system that I'm using that I won't go into detail about, but it just so happens that Czech's bet was able to hold my horses on a losing bet, and wait for something better such as this. Absolutely mind blowing player. Her technique and tennis IQ is an elite level, and she's only 20 years old. This player does not make unforced errors from what I saw, and a beautiful ability to not only construct points and finish them at the net, but also a very fine counter puncher. Maybe she isn't the greatest physical athlete and her serve is not very powerful, but she makes tennis look very easy, and holds a 4-0 set lead in her opponent today. This is the finals of the tournament, and I believe she will give everything to win it. good Luck! 🍀
  13. I might be hopping on board Ito train here in a minute with Czech.. I am already locked and loaded.. ready to go .. any second I will place the bet.
  14. @CzechPunter Final update: Decided not to bet Shevchenko pre-match. If he wins then ohh well, but it doesn't feel right anymore. good luck on your bets guys. I will consider him live carefully only if he is serving first
  15. Giovanni Perricard to beat Jakub Mensik @estimated 1.91 odds with STN With the new World odds authority shake down in effect.. I will try to post most plays in robot odds for the super society civilized folks of the old world. I only have some trouble converting the favorite prices but I can get close. Anyhow.. I placed the bet last night at these odds, and they may have changed but couldn't have moved all that much.. I'm very confident in the bet. Perricard's serve is just too big to contend with, and he is confident playing great with alot of time adjusting to the brisbane conditions which play like indoors courts even though they never list this tournament indoors.. Looks like there is a roof on every court which is also funny.. I've always loved this tournament for some reason. Mensik is a player that I also respect, and he's usually decent to back him as an underdog.. There is a squadron of young Czech players that are very impressive to me.. Particularly the Fruhvirtova sisters, Lehecka, Mensik, and I guess we shall add Noskova even though she looked a bit out of shape last match.. There is some others I probably missed but Vondrousova is only 25. Problem with Mensik in this match for me is that he's not going to be able to deal with Gio's serve in my opinion, and then there's going to be a couple of chances on his own serve which is not nearly as large. Tiafoe was playing great in my opinion, and Perricard just met him at every challenge with a quiet confidence. @harry_rag 😁@CzechPunter@The Rainmaker. Rain - this one don't qualify with your odds requirement, but I imagine it's going to be a banger, and in my opinion Mensik will need a superhuman performance.. He has some arm troubles last year, and I don't know his current status, but I have no concern with the health of Perricard.. knock on wood! Good luck fellas
  16. Aleksandr Vukic to beat Dimitrov @odds +380 with STN In my opinion the match is much closer than the odds suggest.. Vukic had a decent year last year that I can recall, and has been slowly and steadily climbing the rankings. He has a alot of power on his forehand, and sometimes his serve also. Dimitrov is getting up there in his years, and had a fairly difficult time with Hanfmann in the first round. I didn't think he looked in top condition based on his first match.. If Vukic either serves first or finds a way to get his nose in front.. It's going to be difficult for Grigor to deal with the power shots, and potentially the home crowd disadvantage.
  17. Rankings of large underdog players coming up for New Years Eve/New Years day Please jump in if you prefer any of these for a punt. For me Large underdog qualifies anything better than +150 is fair. I would say these are in order of strength for me in terms of value. But, it's difficult to navigate a bet decision. Probably Shevchenko has by far the least chance for success.. so I moved him the last ranking spot. 1.Vukic +350 vs Dimitrov 2. Birrell +400 vs Navarro 3. Bergs +173 vs Fils 4. Shevchenko +700 vs Zverev
  18. @neilovan completely agree with you regarding Peyton Stearns. In my opinion she is a bulldog of a player, and her technique looks dang near flawless. She won the NCAA college championship as a Sophomore, and the future is very bright for her because I think she is durable without injury problems.
  19. Perricard said he was taking it easy on him because either Kyrgios or the crowd was very respectful. I noticed during the match something was wrong with him, and it was annoying me.. He was also returning serves from a poor position on the baseline in the 2nd and the 3rd set which I don't recall ever seeing him do before.. Just really bizarre, but in the end was lady luck on my side thankfully. Happy new years guys! 🍀
  20. Giovanni Perricard to beat Kyrgios @ -110 with William Hill Live locked in 4-4
  21. I am already sold man. You could lose 30 bets in a row, and I would still think respect your tennis and betting acumen. If you post bets in bold like you been doing.. For me that is enough, but probably Czech Punter would like you to do a little bit of analysis occasionally on at least a few of your picks.. Speaking on his behalf lol.. But, I don't think he will hate you for sure.. He's a reasonable level headed guy. Sometimes things get out of hand with our own ego's.. I've been guilty of it many times. I think keeping things chill and mellow here is the way to go though for sure.. I'm looking forward to your next set of tips. Update: For those who ready my opinions regarding the Ostapenko match.. Yes I do think there is some value, and she will probably win despite me not backing her. I have decided the match is too risky, and reviewed Bouzkova last match. I liked what I saw from her, and passing the bet. I will write my betting tip in bold when I've placed a bet per the standard regarding matches discussed here.
  22. I am perfectly happy to watch you make us all money @The Rainmaker. Some people have big personalities, and they can easily come off very brash to other people. I am more of a humble type because of some life experiences that steered me that way. The main issue for me is I have gotten into similar conversations with Tinytim. He doesn't contribute any tennis analysis whatsoever, and wants to voice his opinions and philosophies about betting odds, and nobody placing profitable information on the forum. I think it's pretty clear that most of the tennis punters here have at least fairly solid footing on how to they want to approach their bets and which odds they like. Everyone has different styles or strategies that work for them. This is a tennis forum for discussing tennis bets, and providing information regarding the matches. So my suggestion would be not fall to far down the rabbit hole with Tinytim, and let's make it rain all year and every year from this point forward.. I will do my best to help put some info's out there when I feel good about something. And, for Tim please let's just discuss the tennis matches. 🍀
  23. good call on Kenin @The Rainmaker.. Just saw that.. didn't even realize the matches were on so early today.. Auckland is way way ahead of my time zone haha. And Volynets won. I am not sure of her health, but she is a dangerous player, and I will be taking a look at her next match live. Also maybe we should pay attention maybe to this "Gao" player that keeps winning. I've never seen her at all, but I'm interested find out who she is. Moyuka Uchijima second ranked Japanese player was ranked 499 around 3 years ago, and now is 62.. She was constantly being overlooked by the oddsmakers or purposefully ignored. I've seen her play, and she is a good player, and technical. She won't beat herself, and has accurate shots from the baseline. It should be of note that she is only 23 years old this past August, and may have a bright future, and might find her way as a consistent top 50 wta player.
  24. I also had similar thoughts about Kessler, but I do think Linette was poor. Kessler is a player to watch in my opinion for the future. (New Danielle Collins style player) The odds moved quite a bit. Going to stay away from it almost surely. The one I think is dangerous is Kenin because she's so unpredictable. Myself was initially tempted to back Kenin with plus money. It looked juicy as it always does when Kenin is an underdog. I'll be interested to see if she wins, but I'm staying away for now, and seeing a few of the results before I get involved. Math was wrong regarding Ostapenko-match lol. Playing her with a 44% strike accuracy @odds +150 is a +12.5% Return. Not a huge amount of value, but we will see.
  25. I also don't understand the odds of the Potapova - Bogdan match.. I mean Potapova is the higher ranked, more talented player.. She holds 6-2 6-1 h2h over Bogdan from last fall. Bogdan is one of the least trustworthy players on tour. And to top it all off Shevchenko just won as a huge underdog.. I'm getting power couple vibes.. Underrated Ruskie's putting in work early in the year maybe.. Battle of the babes then in Brisbane. I would set the betting line as Potapova -175 because there has been some injury concerns.
