Re: BBOTD 16th September 5:30 Newbury Bacon Lodge win (2,75) Bet365 This former C&D winner, might prove to fast for the others here. He shown a decent form, but last win was back in may. This might be the right time to get back on track. Going should not be a problem, he got 5 runs under simular conditions and all ended whit a top 3 place.

Cheers Trotter :okUsually means that in the opinion of the commentator the horse is running off a lower handicap mark than his ability warrants This might be because the horse has won off higher marks in the past, had a losing run and drifted down in the weights but now shows signs of regaining his old form but with a lower handicap mark to run off It might be because the horse has been given a handicap mark based on runs in maiden or non-handicap races which the commentator believes were of much higher quality than the official handicapper has rated them It might be that the horse has, for example, been running in sprints over 6 furlongs and has got his handicap mark on the basis of that form........but he's bred to be a 10 furlong horse and will look well handicapped when he steps up in trip because he will improve a lot over the extra distance So..........usually it's an opinion based on a belief that the horse is now better for whatever reason than the handicap mark he is running off Sometimes the horse can be well handicapped in fact rather than in opinion............the handicap ratings are revised every couple of weeks. If you had a horse who won a race and the official handicapper decided to put him up 12 lbs in the ratings from 2 weeks time, he could run again in the meantime with a 6 lb penalty for winning............he would officially be 6 lb well handicapped until the new rating took effect -
Re: France - Ligue 2 - 16-17 September Bastia - Monaco : 1 (1,90) Bet365 Stake 6/10 Bastia got a decent start to the season, whit 10 points for 6 games. Especially at home in corsika they looked strong whit 2 wins, 1 draw and 5 to 2 goals. Monaco fired coach Laurent Banide recently, after at run of 6 games and just 4 point, whit 0 wins to their name. The new man in charge Marco Simone, will face a tough first test against at team whit confidence. Monaco got some quality players on the injured list. Keeper Sebastian Chabbert, Layvin Kurzawa, Chris Malonga and captain Ludovic Giuly. :hope

Dynamo Kiev in the strongest posible line up against a Stoke squad, whitout Crouch, Woodgate, Etherington, Delap, Marc Wilson and possibly Upson, got a great chance to win whit more then 1 goal. They might had a poor season at home last year but it shows they got strength when they beat AZ. I didnt see the Bate or Sheriff matches but i´ll bet they both put 9 players behind the ball...so experienced they drew 2-2 with Bate and 0-0 with sheriff. Also only won 2 of last 3 games 1-0. Particularly at home in greece, they played some good football. They beat Villarreal, Fenerbache, Zagreb and got a draw against Brugge and Ajax. Tottenham got a slow start in the Premier League, they lost to United and City while won against Wolves. Manager Redknapp got a lot of players injured and some will be rested for this match, so they will be ready for the importent match against Liverpool saturday.. The Tottenham squad only contains 5 first team players for this match. The rest are youth or the last reserves, while Paok are in the strongest line up. Re: BBOTD - Thursday, 15th September Ayr 14:50 Storming Bernard Win (3,00) Bet365 horse's form got better and better over the last 5 races. Last race was won and this 2 year old gelding, now got a good opportunity to continue the fine form .. Going fit the horse well. 2 of the last 4 places under similar conditions. The race is 1 Furlong longer than the previous but it should not be a problem. Its a strong group of horses and Stroming Bernard need to ride his best.

I've rarely been so disappointed with a horse... :wall16:05 Sandown King Tours Win (3,25) Bet365 This is King Tours 3rd race this year. The 3 year old, had a great 2010 whit 3 wins in 5 races. This season first race was 4/11 but he came back on winning ways on the same distance and going recently. Richard Hughes is once again jockey and the only one King Tours had. -

Re: Surely a value bet? Lille have to win at least 2 matches and draw 2 to qualify in my opinion. Both Trabzonspor and CSKA are strong at home and the Lille team lack european experience. I would rate Inter 45 %, Lille 25%, CSKA 20 % % & Trabzonspor 10 % to qualify for the knockout round. If Lille Pays 371/100 you got a value of 117,75, according to my ratings.. ;)

No one WILL qualify.. Not even Barca or United. Everyone cant fail but when it comes to all above, there are around 95-98 % chance that they will qualify.. I know it's the little things department, but you cant tell a newbie that some bets are bulletproof cuz none are. Barcelona CAN lose at home to Swindon, but it might only happen once in one houndred matches. Look at Real Madrid. A couple of years ago they lost in the cup to a 5th division team..barca WILL qualify Real WILL qualify Man United WILL qualify Chelsea 99 % to qualify Inter 99% to qualify -

Re: bet formain teams to qualify guaranteed money? need advice newbie There is no such thing as a "guaranteed to win" in betting. Even the biggest fav can fall. In my personal experience, you basic betting should be based on singles. Then you can supply whit doubles and so on. Always, and i mean ALWAYS pick value bets.. You win more in the long run, if you only select value bets. Since your new, you might be tempted to play Barcelona at home for 1,20 or Man United at home for the same price but in the long run, you´ll lose more then you win on bets like this. Read through the forum once in a while and you´ll pick up tips and advise, you might need to progres. Good luck & :welcome

Re: UEFA Champions League > 13 September Porto are whitout Rolando and Fredy Guarin who are suspended after being sent off against Barcelona, while Emidio Rafael has been left out of the squad for the group phase due to a broken leg. For Shakhtar Oleksandr Kucher, Vyacheslav Shevchuk and Darijo Srna were all rested on Friday after returning from international duty with knocks but are expected to be available, while striker Yevhen Seleznyov is also set to play after recovering from a head injury. Their last visit to Portugal was against Brage.. A match they won 0-3.

She got 2 second place races in a row and last race looked promising, when finishing 3/4 L after missiom Impossible under simular going. Mucky Molly got a good draw and might be able to work that to her advance. Some of her tough rivales have previous found this going difficult, which might be a help hand, in her case.

Re: Italia Serie A 1st round Lecce - Udinese : Draw (3,20) Bet365 Udinese had a great season last year, but they lost some key like sanchez, Ilner og Zapata. They play decent against the worst Arsenal side for many years in the champions league. Lecce was lucky not to go down last year but they look a bit stronger this season. They got a new goalkeeper in Sergio and defender Oddo from Milan. Lecce had the worst defense in Italy last season. Some of the new guys got the strenght to improve that. I dont see them scoring a lot but whit a solid defense, they might get a lot of draws this time around.

He is a former course winner and now the horse are 2lb higher but the race is 2 furlongs shorter. He got a decent draw, who might be a helping hand and can he stay whit the front runners he might get the chance to continue this good form. Jockey Baker, got a great strikerate at Goodwood and a decent good to soft history.

Re: BBOTD 10th of February 14:20 Goodwood Opera Gal 0,5 EW (9,00) Bet365 Opera Gal has showen great form lately, whit 2 place and 1 win in her reacent 3 class one races-. 2 of those where whit a simular going. And she is a distance winner. There are some great horses in this race and Opera Gal need to show her best to win but a place in top 3 is not impossible. She is the fastest horse in the race, so if she can keep her place up front in the group, she might be able to sprint whit the front runners.

Re: bbotd saturday 5:35 Ayr Bollin Greta Win (8,00) Bet365 This 6 year old mare, got close in recent races, whit 3-3-3-3-2. She is a bit down in weight, and that might help her, to the first win since may. Allan gets his 19th race whit her and 11 of the previous races, was either won or placed.
