  1. Got to go for an Aberdeen win today, on a roll, on a massive high, after beating the champions Celtic last week. I'm sure that just like last year, their bubble will burst and Celtic will romp the league again, but until that happens..... Aberdeen to beat Hearts 11/10 at Betfair Good Luck to all
I agree. Aberdeen are a better team than Hearts. Anything over evens should be taken. Bet of the day for me.
  2. Pretty straightforward this week for Hibs. After 2 very comfortable wins in a row, without conceding a goal, another victory is expected against a poor Livingston side. Hibs are making lots of chances and I am very confident they'll score a few today. Hibs -1 is the bet, 5/4 generally available.
Hibs win 1-0. Bet lost. Betting on football can be cruel sometimes. Hibs really should have been 2 or 3 up by half time after missing 2 absolute sitters, including possibly the worst miss I have ever seen, with Malonga hitting the post from 4 yards with nobody to beat. Shocking.
  3. LA Galaxy -0.5 @ 2.3 Houston Dynamo is already missing 2 key players Giles Barnes and DeMarcus Beasley due to international duty. This week, they will lose another 2 1st team players in Luis Garrido and Kofi Sarkodie because of suspension. Oscar Boniek Garcia and Jermaine Taylor are injuries doubts. New DP Cubo Torres should be available though. It's hard to imagine a team as good as LA is still winless away from home. And they are the only Western conference team without a single away win. Houston is missing almost half of their 1st team, there is really no better opportunity for LA to get that elusive away win.
The arrival of Steven Gerrard strengthens Galaxy also, bet of the weekend for me, will follow. :ok
  4. Stjarnan v Celtic Celtic were a couple of levels above Stjarnan in the first leg and completely dominated from start to finish, the Icelanders struggled to retain any sort of meaningful possession and barely got out of their own half. A combination of a superb performance by the Stjarnan goalkeeper and rustiness in the Celtic attack kept the goals down to a respectable level. After a week of more training and friendly games, Celtic will be sharper tonight and I think will really hurt the home side with a few goals. Celtic -1 @ 23/20 Hills , seems like a gift to me.
1 - 4 Not as easy as I thought it would be but got there in the end. :cigar

  6. Re: Scottish Football > December 26th - 28th St Mirren win @ 5/6 I think has a wee bit of value Hearts problems are well documented this season, they are shocking, no other way to describe them. A squad of inexperienced kids, demoralising defeats every week, don't score goals, getting relegated. If Saints score 1 that could be enough and with Thompson in form I can see them scoring more. Easy home win. 10 points.

  7. Re: Scottish Football > Saturday November 23rd Hibs to beat St mirren 7/4 at Hills. Terry Butchers first game in charge and the rumours are he's dropped a couple of regulars and will be playing a more attacking style with a bit of width, something Pat Fenlon didn't know how to do. Hibs have the better squad of players plus with Goodwin out for the saints it's hard to resist the 7/4 for the new manager boost that Hibs desperately needed. El Tel to make an instant impact. 5 Points.
