  1. Re: Copa Del Rey Final > Real Madrid v Athletico Madrid > Fri 17th May R Falcao to score anytime @ 2.75 Skybet The Real defence hasn't been great this season and they have only kept 1 clean sheet in the last 12 league matches. I think they will concede again tonight and I will try my luck that Falcao will net at some point. He is by the far the biggest threat to Real and he has a good record of scoring in the big matches and finals Scored in the Super cup win v Benfica Scored in the Europa league final v Braga Scored a hat trick v Chelsea in the UEFA Super cup final Scored the only Athlectico goals in the match away at the Camp Nou this season and also at home to Real I think this is well worth a punt at this price. Bet365 have him @ 2.25 and Paddypower @ 2.5 :ok

  2. Re: Indian Premier League 2013 Thanks Kev Pune v Mumbai - Over 8.5 sixes @ 1.83 Skybet I think this is a line that is well within reach. We have plenty of big hitters on both sides that can help contribute towards bringing this in and I think we should see at least 9 here. As Kev has said the Pune batsmen aren't in the greatest of form, however we still saw 4 maximums from the bat of Matthews in the 106 they scored last time out. If you look at the batting line up they have a host of players who are capable of clearing the ropes - Uthappah, Finch, Singh and Marsh having already gone over the ropes at this ground. Again as Kev has said in his bet, Mumbai are also full of the big hitters and we only need the likes of Pollard and Sharma to get going and they will cover this line between them. We saw 17 sixes on this ground against RCB and while I don't think we will see that tomorrow, we have more than enough players to hit the 9 required :ok

  3. Re: Yorkshire Bank 40 2013 This will be a void bet and you will get a refund. Its nice when it happens in your favour Make sure you get the refund though as they initially settled mine as a loser. I had to go on live chat to get it sorted.

  4. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

This one came in fairly comfortably yesterday with 34 Fours in total. Going to have another go on the fours market again today. Sunrisers v Chennai SK over 22.5 fours @ 1.72 Skybet
Another winner on the 4s yesterday with that one coming in much easier than expected. I'm going to try the market again today but will go at a slightly bigger line with better odds Kings XI v Rajasthan Royals over 33.5 fours @ 2.10 Skybet This line has been covered in 2 of the last 4 matches on this ground with the last 2 both going over - 39,36,33,29. We also had a very narrow miss on 33 and a more than respectable 29 so that tells me we should be getting a run for our money here at least. The last 2 games on this ground have been high scoring matches with 185 v 186 and 190 v 194 We have plenty of boundary hitters on display today and some in form batsmen on both sides - Dravid hit 7 himself last time out while Miller hit 8. If both teams fire as they have been of late then on a decent pitch I think this line is well with reach.:ok
  5. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

Rajasthan Royals v Dehli Daredevils over 29.5 Fours @ 1.83 PaddyPower This line has been covered in the 3 previous games at this ground with 40,31, and 34 fours being hit. We have plenty of players on show today who are more than capable of finding the boundary and IMO more stroke players than real big hitters. The pressure is of Dehli a bit now and I think they might just relax a bit and put up a real fight in this match. With the likes of Jawaydene, Warner and Sehwag in the side we only need one or two of these to fire and we should be ok here :ok
This one came in fairly comfortably yesterday with 34 Fours in total. Going to have another go on the fours market again today. Sunrisers v Chennai SK over 22.5 fours @ 1.72 Skybet This price might be big skinny for some but with the line at only 22.5 I think this offers some value and I'm happy to take it on This line has only been covered once in the last 3 matches at this ground with 12, 27 and 19 fours hit. However in the match with only 12 fours, Sunrisers contributed 8 towards the total chasing down 80 to win in only 13.5 overs. In the match with 27 they hit 15 in only 18 overs to chase down 129. The home record shows they are well suited to the this ground and I think they can go along way to covering this line themselves today. Chennai are going to be smarting from the poor performance last time out and I think they will be paying the bowlers the due respect and not trying the big shots too early. I think this can help with this bet though as I see more boundary fours being hit rather than the riskier aerial shots. Chennai certainly have enough quality batsmen in the side to score runs here and I will back them to contribute enough to help bring this bet in :ok

  7. Re: Liverpool v Chelsea > Sun 21st April Chelsea over 1.5 goals @ 2.87 StanJames I think this is a very good price for a Chelsea team that have goals in them from all over the pitch. They are coming off the back of a very good win in what looked like a difficult game against Fulham. While I'm not quite brave enough to back them to win, mainly due to the up and down form of Liverpool, I think they can score at least 2 goals today. Chelsea have covered this line in 2 of their last 4 away games Liverpool have conceded over 1.5 in 2 of their last 4 home games. Liverpool have conceded 2 goals at home against the rest of the top 5 this season with City, United, Arsenal and Spurs all scoring 2 at Anfield. I think we are getting decent value that Chelsea can do the same again today.

  8. Re: Indian Premier League 2013

Player Performance - M Morkel 22 & over @ 1.83 Bet365 I think this is a line that is well within Morkel's grasp. He has covered this in 2 out of his 3 matches so far and I think he is a bit of value to do it again today. He has taken at least 1 wicket in each of these matches with 2 against Sunrisers, 1 against RCB and 1 against Mumbai. If he can carry that on today then I feel confident he can pick up the other 3 points through his runs or catching. In the match against Mumbai he covered this line with his batting alone scoring 23 runs. He also has 2 run outs to his name against RCB so he is always involved in the game. He is more than capable of scoring points in all 3 areas of the game and has 14 catches in 98 T20 internationals. Good stuff in here so far guys. Keep it up :ok
Confused myself a bit here as I put 3 points required in my write up. Thankfully it was only 2 needed to bring this in. Great shout on top bat Westy :clap :clap

  10. Re: Premier League 2013 - Week 8 Van Gerwen v Wade - Wade highest checkout @ 2.20 Bet365 This might look a bit crazy opposing MVG as he checked out a 164, 121 and 120 last week. However in the previous 6 weeks hes only managed one other 3 figure checkout with a 104 finish in week 2. Wade is finding his form again and is checking out some lovely finishes. He has taken out over 120 five times in the last 3 weeks including the big one with the 170 in week 6. MVG highest checkouts - 164,121,120 - 87 - 54 - 64 - 54 - 104 - 52 Wade highest checkouts - 124 - 170,144 - 121,121 - 86 - 76 - 65 - 68 You can't doubt MVG's form atm and he may well put in another performance like last week and blitz this bet. However even when scoring heavily he is still capable of missing doubles. The way that Wade is playing you would fancy him to put in at least one decent checkout tonight and that may well be enought to win this bet. Add odds against I think its well worth a small punt that Wade can come out on top in the checkout market :ok

  11. Re: Copa Del Rey > 30th - 31st January Real Madrid over 1.5 Goals @ 2.10 Bet365 Real have only failed to cover this line at home once this season. They average 3.20 goals for at home Barcelona have only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 7 away games. Conceding over this line 3 out of 7. When these two met at Barca earlier in the season the score was 2-2 and you can only think this game will also be full of goals. I do fancy Madrid but I'm not quite brave enough to back them to win. Instead I will have a large bet on over 1.5 goals and hopefully just sit back and enjoy a cracking game. Strength of bet - 5/5

  12. Re: Arsenal v West Ham > Wed 23rd January

West Ham +3.5 corner handicap @ 2.00 Bet365 Arsenal have only beaten this handicap in their first two home games against Sunderland and Southampton. They have since failed to beat this in thier last 8 home games. They have an average corner margin of 1.79. Average corners for 6.2. Average against 4.4 West ham have only lost on this handicap twice away this season against Newcastle and West Brom. They have an average corner margin of -0.7. Average corners for 4.29. Average against 5.7 The most corners Arsenal have had at home this season is 8 on three occasions. West have managed 13 and 6 twice. Anything like a normal performance from both teams should see this come in and I think evens is a decent price for a fairly generous handicap
Was all looking very good at half time with West Ham 5-3 up on corners without the handicap added. I would have taken 5 West Ham corners before kick off. However Arsenal then went a bit mental in the 2nd half and it ended up 13-5 to Arsenal.

  14. Re: Southampton v Everton > Mon 21st January

I got the draw at 3.57' date=' but it's down to 3.42 at 5Dimes. I think 1-1 is a very conceivable result, given their solid defense at home (six straight unders) and Everton's propensity for draws.[/quote'] Top stuff :clap:clap Fair play. I really couldn't see Saints putting in as good as performance as that with everything that has gone on. They really could have been out of sight in the first half.
  15. Re: Southampton v Everton > Mon 21st January Southampton v Everton – Everton win and over 2.5 goals @ 3.00 Bet365 Southampton have picked up of late and have had some decent results. However these have mainly been against the lesser sides with home wins against Newcastle and Reading and draws with Fulham, Norwich and Stoke. Out of the top teams to visit ST Marys this season United and Spurs both picked up wins while covering this line and I can see Everton doing something similar tonight. Apart from their last home game against Swansea, Everton have scored and conceded in their last 16 league games so they are usually good for goals. They have covered this line winning their last 2 away games against Newcastle and West Ham. Despite a reasonable away record with 4 wins so far Everton have only kept one clean sheet away all season in a 3 nil win at Swansea. I think Everton can take advantage of the management situation and come away with a win tonight but I also think we should see some goals in the process.

  16. Re: Championship > 18th Jan - 19th Jan Leicester v Middlesbrough over 3.5 goals @ 2.62 Bet365 Leicester have covered this line in 5 out of their last 6 home games Middlesbrough have covered this line 3 out of their last 6 away games Leicester v Middlesbrough – Middlesbrough corners over 4.5 @ 2.10 Bet365 Middlesbrough have covered this line in 3 out of their last 6 away games, 3,9,4,3,7,5 Leicester have conceded at least 5 corners in 3 out of their last 6 home games 6,3,2,5,5,1 I'm hoping for an open game tonight and one I think Leicester should win. However Middlesbrough won't lie down here and they will get chances against a team who only have one clean sheet in their last 6 at home. Middlesbrough have scored and conceded in their last 4 away games so I think we should see a few goals tonight. I will also play the corners as I think its a decent price that the boro can notch at least 5 corners in the process.

  17. Re: FA Cup > 29th Dec - 7th Jan

Swansea over 5.5 corners @ 2.10 Bet365 Swansea have covered this line in 3 out of their last 6 home games 3,3,6,5,7,8. Arsenal have conceded more than 6 in 3 of their last 6 away games 3,4,3,6,7,6 Swansea have only failed to cover this line in 4 out of their 13 home league games this season. Covering the line 9 out of 13. In the recent away game Arsenal, Swansea managed 5 corners so I dont think its too much of a stretch to expect them to get just one more at home today. We have a Swansea team who know they can beat Arsenal playing at home in front of a rocking stadium. I expect them to take the game to the away side and I think we are getting good odds on a least 6 corners for a home side who usually rack them up
I got nowhere near with that one yesterday. I think it was only 2 corners to Swansea in the end. Anyway I will try my luck in the corner market again and hope for a better outcome today. Everton -2 Corners @ 2.20 Bet365 Everton have covered this handicap in 3 of their last 6 away games against premier league opposition. 4-8 Stoke, 7-13 Reading, 5-9 Fulham. They have only failed to have the most corners in 1 of their last 6 away games and that was at Man City Tbf Cheltenham do have a lot corners at home themselves and have gone into doubles figures twice in their last 6 home games. However against league 2 opposition they still have an ave margin of -1 with 5.8 corners for and 6.8 against. I know Everton will make changes tonight but I still expect them to do the majority of the attacking and I think we are getting decent odds they can cover a fairly small handicap on corners.
  18. Re: FA Cup > 29th Dec - 7th Jan Swansea over 5.5 corners @ 2.10 Bet365 Swansea have covered this line in 3 out of their last 6 home games 3,3,6,5,7,8. 19. Re: League 1 > 4th Jan - 5th Jan

Simplesoccerstats is a great tool' date=' but I stopped using it a while ago as doesn't it display only averages?[/quote'] Corners bet won with 8 so far :D tbh Jase I think you were the person who put me on to simplesoccer stats about 2 years ago. Interested to see you have stopped using. Did you find anywhere else??
  20. Re: League 1 > 4th Jan - 5th Jan Walsall over 6.5 corners @ 2.10 Bet365 Walsall have covered this line in 3 out of their last 6 home games 4,13,5,9,5,7 Portsmouth have conceded at least 7 corners in 3 of their last 6 away games 7,5,10,9,5,5 The last 3 times Walsall covered this line was against teams lower than them in the league - Colchester, Hartlepool and Scunthorpe. In these 3 games they only managed to win one game and never managed to score more than one goal in a game. However even when losing 1-4 to Scunthorpe they still managed 7 corners. In a game in which I expect Walsall to dominate I will take them to cover the corners rather than the goals or the straight win. With odds at above evens I think it's well worth a small play.

  21. Hearts over 6.5 corners @ 2.00 Bet365 Hearts have covered this line in 5 out of their last 6 home games 7,9,7,10,8,3 Hibs have conceded at least 7 corners in 4 out of their last 6 away games 6,4,14,12,7,7 Hearts still managed to cover this line when beaten 4 nil by Celtic getting 7 corners. So even in a game they didn't dominate and didn't score they still produced lots of corners. In a local derby I expect them to take the game to Hibs and I think we should see at least 7 corners for Hearts in the process
13 corners for Hearts in the end. well done to all winners
  22.
