  1. Re: Italy - Serie B - 20-23 May

SIENA- VARESE x @ 4 (bf) Visitors Varese are unbeaten in 14 (D10 W4) and are the undisputed draw specialists of the Italian second tier. The promotion hopefuls are safe for a play-off place and have drawn a mighty 50 per cent of all of their Serie B games including 11 of their 20 matches on the road. * 50% of Siena's matches this season have gone under 2.5 goals * 68% of Varese's matches this season have gone under 2.5 goals When the teams met just before Christmas Varese ran out 1-0 winners. Going unders is always a good runner in Serie B and it is surprisingly well priced tonight @ 2.4 A draw suits both sides so another pragmatic Italian result looks a fine bet Varese have drawn there last 6 away! Reggina 1-1 Varese Sassuolo 1-1 Varese Cittadella 2-2 Varese Triestina 1-1 Varese Livorno 0-0 Varese Novara 1-1 Varese
lol, 3-0 Siena, 15 minutes gone! :lol
  2. After two unsuccessful attempts, I am giving my glory hunt a final shot - this time with a smaller target to get myself going. Once again inspired by cocainenosejob's decent recent efforts. :notworthy It was quite funny seeing such catastrophic failure on my previous two attempts with failure after ONE BET.:lol This time, as mentioned above the target is £160. I will start with £20 and and select SINGLES on FOOTBALL matches from around the globe. I will aim for value, minimum odds of 2.00 in order to reach the target. Selections will be based on league position, head to head results and goal stats. Fingers crossed it's more successful than last time (shouldn't be too hard) :hope Giving myself TWO DAYS (until Wednesday) to get this done so at least one bet a day. Should take a maximum of three bets!

  3. Re: Spain - La Liga - 21 May

Malaga v Barcelona Barcelona @ 2.10 (William Hill) This price is huge! Malaga are now safe in mid-table and like Barcelona have nothing to play for. I expect a load of reserve/fringe players playing for both teams however I do expect Messi to make an appearance at some point as he normally does to up his goal tally for the season - Ronaldo is a few ahead of him now in the race for the Pichici trophy but it won't stop Messi trying and I can't see Guardiola stopping him. The fringe/reserve players know this is their last chance to impress before the end of the season as they wont be playing in the Champions League final. I think Malaga will give it a go, but Barca will want to go out in style and keep spirits up for the final following a recent run of 'poor' (for their standards) results. Can't be refused at this price!
WIN! 3-1 to Barcelona final result :nanaGot it at a good price too..it went down to 1.80 just before kick off with William Hill.

  5. Re: Tennis 16-22 May I am NEVER betting on tennis again!! Had my stake on Unger to beat Gicquel in the French Open Qualifying. I put my money on at 1.75 in play when Unger had just won the first set. It went to a 2nd set tie break with Unger serving at 8-7 in the tie break. He needed one point to win the match and in play was at 1.02 and Gicquel at 12.00!! Gicquel has hit back and is now leading the 3rd set by 2 games to 1 having just broke Unger's serve. Unger is now 4.33 with Gicquel at 1.20! Oh dear!

  6. Hello again! I've been inspired by cocainenosejobs' £20 to £10,000 thread and have decided to give my own version a go. My target is £700 or thereabouts. Rules are simple. I will start with £20 and aim to very roughly double it. All in with each bet. Staked odds will be a minimum of 2.00 and a mix of singles, doubles, trebles - anything I fancy really but all in every time and aiming for above 2.00 in odds. All bets placed online at William Hill. Structure is as follows: £20 to £40(ish) £40(ish) to £80(ish) £80(ish) to £160(ish) £160(ish) to £320(ish) £320(ish)) to £700(ish)!! WITHDRAW! Fingers crossed!

  7. Re: Eurovision Song Contest (Düsseldorf 2011)

Estonia will win this one %100 because this song is supported by Illuminati. Remember Sertab Erener? She was a winner because there was a illuminati message in her song as well. images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQaBtZ1FK3H1UtIHsOwURZWgp9ZrvZVGws3okTcbKSD0Va5aJuJ You can see the pyramid + eye in the picture.
This post fascinated me and made me LOL! I actually think the song has a decent chance on its own with the 'illuminati' influence. I've actually taken a punt with them at 16.00 to win a few weeks back with SkyBet. Changed my opinions lately, my top 5 (any order): Estonia United Kingdom Germany France Ireland
  8. Re: £20 - £10,000 in 9 Bets Challenge No f-ing way! I had followed you on your bet like I said...I gave up with 75 minutes gone as it was still 1-2 and went to bed. Just came to check this thread to see if you'd started again and wow...shocked, so glad I didnt throw my slip away! Truly have a bit of momentum with you now... :notworthy :notworthy

  9. Re: Eurovision True, I wouldn't mind seeing both Jed and ward :tongue2 crucified but the OP has a point...they are exactly the sort of thing that Eurovision audiences will go for. Ireland are pretty neutral in terms of politics too (compared to the UK!) and their cheeziness may work very well for them. The mainland europeans love that sort of shite! Again, I wouldn't be suprised at all with top 10 finish for them. I reckon... 1. Estonia 2. Sweden 3. Germany 4. France 5. UK

  10. Re: Eurovision I've been following the build up for a bit now as its becoming more and more 'predictable' year on year. I seriously think that Estonia have a chance. They are around 3rd favourites with most bookies and are 8/1 with Sky Bet. The song is pretty well received, similar sort of feel to last year's winner and the singer is fit as fcuk! Also think Blue might get a top 10 finish.

  11. Re: Spain - La Liga - 10-11 May Levante v Barcelona Barcelona 4+ Goals @ 5/2 (Ladbrokes) Messi and Ronaldo are now heavily in competition for the Picichi (La Liga top scorer award) with Ronaldo hot on Messi's toes having netted a hatrick yesterday. Barcelona have all but the title in the bag, and a top priority for Messi is obviously bagging more goals. In addition to this, Barca know they can wrap up the title with a win here and will want to do it in style as they normally do. As previously said, they will want to get the title out of the way so they can start to rest/rotate for the Champions League final at the end of the month. I'm expecting a comprehensive win, maybe 0-4 or 0-5.

  12. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 5 May Villareal v Porto Total Villareal Cards - 2 or 3 @ 11/10 (William Hill) 2 pts Total Villareal Cards - Over 3 @ 18/5 (William Hill) 2 pts The same as my Man Utd bet last night. The first leg produced 6 yellow cards between both teams and I think tonight will be more intense. As with Schalke last night, if Porto grab a goal (very likely) the heads will drop and the frustration will kick in for Villareal, who only have this competition left to win anything. They will not want a thrashing at their own ground, and if there is any hint of that happenning, I expect lots of aggressive play from the home side. 2 pts on over 3 cards for Villareal...however the saver is 2 pts on 2 or 3 cards which effectively gives me back my stage for both (with slight profit). Only 1 or less cards will ruin this! :ok

  13. Re: UEFA Champions League > Manchester Utd v Schalke > Weds 4 May

Man Utd v Schalke 04 Total Man Utd Cards - 2 to 3 @ 9/5 (William Hill) 5 pts Total Man Utd Cards - Over 3 @ 7/1 (William Hill) 2 pts Can't believe the odds for these. Scholes is likely to play and Ferguson should still keep a strong back line - the likes of Vidic etc. Scholes has received 9 yellow cards this season and Vidic has received 8! There are no implications if Scholes receives a yellow card here - he won't miss the final. If Schalke even score a single goal, the nerves will creep in regardless of what score Man Utd get. I'm going for a decent bet on 2-3 cards, but the saver will be a smaller bet on over 3 cards for Man Utd @ 7/1. Either way, should be looking at a decent profit here.
    Profit!! 3 cards @ 9/5.
