Including today there were 12 draws in total from 56 games 21% (ave around 28%) from which I managed 5 which is 41% of total drawn games,so quite fortunate really to get the 5.Well done getting five as there wasn't a huge amount overall in endland -

Going to have a tenner each place only on the tote, reckon 1 will come in so should break even at least :hope, and 6 cheeky £1 r/f 's the 4 ... he who dare's :lolScottish National for me, basic look at the trends gives you a horse aged 8-11, and weighted under 10st 8lb, leave a short list of 8 horses using those 2 trends two more are less than 6 runs this season and also ran within last 60 days this leaves the following; Neptune Equestor, Monsieur Cadou, Cool Operator, Captain Americo Neptune Equestor - won LTO, 11th in 2011 & 13th in Grand National in 2012 Monsieur Cadou - won LTO, record over 3m + is 42F131 Cool Operator - PU LTO, best form on heavy Captain Americo - 8th LTO, well behind Monsieur Cadou LTO will come back to choose 2 or 3 from that final 4. -

I have read that as well as Converging factors very similar principles A good source of books used to be Browzers, (in Wythenshaw Manchester ) owner was retiring in January this year and under new ownership now I think as the website is being updated,found the prices of books on there very reasonable compared to elsewhere.My favourite book, of those I have read so far is "Shock Draws and How To Find Them." I'd love to read more but they are just so overpriced. Shame. -

I actually use principles written back in 1955 by a guy named Promath (AKA Mathorpe) that work just as good today as they did back then and he did all the stats longhand while I can do them in seconds on a computer. Ive read 5 of the books he wrote in the 50's very interesting concepts to betting. Do you remember him from the late 50/60's (before my time) ,he used to do the write ups in the Sporting Investor and the Handicappers black Book. Started using one of his flat methods again on Saturday which usually produces at least one selection a day when the flat gets going proper. A good positive start so far, but 2 swallows do not a summer make. :$ Thank you for the kind words sir Sorry your throwing the towel in,this is one of the few threads I actually look at. So near yet so far.... Using ratings as an indicator is always shall we say a 'hit and miss' method, unless data is correctly interpreted the 'noise' will override the 'signal'. If you decide to continue down the ratings (or any other) route have a read of this (EDA) as sometimes it helps to actually visualise whats happening and why 'noise' is occuring rather than simply looking at pages of numbers. All the best whatever you decide :okOne last tip/piece of advice...Pray that Machine continues with his A.I.D.E thread next year...Even before last weekends stunning performance, one word...AMAZING -
