  1. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 15 March

Terrible' date=' terrible odds on the English teams, as is the odds on overs goal markets in thoose game[/quote'] I'm not even sure about United's chances to be honest. I reckon there should be goals in the match as the home side play only 1 way & United need a couple? As for Citeh, 1.75 To Qualify In Normal Time, seems decent odds? They are strong at home and should get a few past Sporting IMO Not betting on either of these myself but hope it helps ;)
  2. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 15 March Hannover 96 v Standard Liege Jan Schlaudraff is back into the starting 11 for the home side. They took an excelent 2:2 away draw in the reverse fixture which makes them favourites to qualify. Hannover normally score a couple at home and I doubt they will approach this with a defensive mindset. They have already made history by reaching this stage of the competition for the first time ever and will be motivated in front of the 45 000 fans. Standard are talented but by no means exeptional. They have to win here and anything but goals means they are out. Over 2.5 goals @1.75 - PADDYPOWER For those of you who look for more "value" this should be priced @ evens if it stays 0:0 up until the 15th min. Schalke v Twente I also quite fancy Schalke to beat FC Twente in the later set of games this evening, for the reasons most of you already mentioned. The first leg should have been a 0:0 draw which is how Schalke have set out to play, but for a lucky penalty that never should have been awarded. Schalke score for fun at home and they could even cover the -1 handicap. Home win @ 1.75 is my bet on this one :)

  3. Re: UEFA Champions League > Wednesday 14 March

Chelsea v Napoli No market really stands out, though I fancy goals in this one, the pre-match odds are very short.. If it stays 0:0 after 20 mins, the odds should rise to evens on OVER 2.5? Knowing that they have to score at least 2 to have any chance of progress, Chelsea should attack from the off.. This should allow the away side to play the usually deadly counter-attacking style. With the likes of Lavezzi & Hamsik both on the scoresheet last weekend, and Cavani rested, you just have to fancy them to score. The Napolitans see this as the ultimate competition this season and I can't see them trying to defend becouse its not something that they EVER do. Both Teams To Score seems likely. Half with more goals - Second Half is my bet, but I will look to bet in play in this one. :)
All three bets came in with time to spare. That was a BOMB by Inler.. +4 units :beer

  5. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 13 March

Don't have much time before kick-off, but I thought i would give my opinion.. Marseille have set out an attacking 4-3-3 formation which means they are trying to get an away goal here. Inter have to score to progress, and the San Siro is going to be loud. OVER 2.5 is priced @ around 2.10 which is good value.
Not comfortable, but its nice when they come in late like this for a change..
  6. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 13 March

13, lucky number as always :) Inter Milano vs. Marseille Inter Milan and Marseille in their domestic championships are not experiencing the best of times, Inter only 7th place in standings, and Marseille 8th. But despite this bad run on local leagues, one of these teams will play in 1/4 of the Champions League. To get such an honor its hard to say wich of them, because the outcome of the first match (1-0 to Marseille) special benefits does not give anyone. And for the first match is difficult to give anyone an advantage. It seems that today we are waiting for something like the first match, except that now would be a little more active Inter Milano. Still, I think both will play with an eye on to protect theyr net. Inter musnt receive goal, because in this case they will need to score 3 goals to Marseille, for ex. if they will get a goal almost buries hopes of Inter to continue the struggle in the match. Marseille to push forward too, there is no sense. In general, we are waiting for this match quite closed football, chances there will be no one nor the other, Inter climb forward only to the middle of the second half. As for the statistics, the Champions League matches this season, Inter 4 out of 7 matches played under 2.5 goals. Marseille only 2 games from 7 total went over 2.5 goals. Include the history of personal meetings between the clubs: 22.02.12 Marseille - Inter Milan 1:0 (0:0) 14.04.04 Inter Milan - Marseille 0:1 (0:0) 08.04.04 Marseille - Inter Milan 1:0 (0:0) Looking forward to a logical continuation of this series and Inter win 1-0, 2-0. Under 2,5 goals 1.75 Expekt

  7. Re: Bundesliga - 24-26 February Bayern - Schalke Haven't got much time before kick-off so just a quick preview.. Bayern have a pretty strong home recod in the Bundesliga, with 0:1 defeats to G'ladbach & Dortmund the only exceptions. They normally score a couple of goals in front of the fans and today should be no different, especially after the dissapointing week they've had.. Schalke look a decent team under Huub Stevens which has reflected on their high league position currently. The away form has been somewhat inconsistent, but they normaly look to score and play an open game, which resulted in 5/6 last away games going overs. OVER 2.5 goals @ 1.60 OVER 3.5 goals @ 2.40

  8. Re: Arsenal v Spurs > Sun 26th Feb This fixture has always produced goals. The form goes out of the window. The Gunners (35 goals conceaded in 25 games) have the worst defensive record out of the "top six" teams in the league. These two teams are among the highest scorers in the EPL. The last 6 games between the two have produced OVER 2.5 goals. Bookies obviously know that the probability of seeing goals here is high, so odds don't look great.. :unsure Going to follow Mustafa and back Highest Scoring Half: Second Half @ 2.00

  9. Re: Norwich v Man UTD > Sun 26th Feb Can't see anything than a Man United win here. They need to keep up with City.. Norwich got beaten 2:0 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture and gave a good account of themselves, they probably should have scored too. There is no way Norwich are going to try & defend at Carrow Road, so I can see them trying to put on a show for the fans. They're far from relegation right now and can play without fear.. United chanced their arm on Thrusday by playing the youth, which nearly backfired. Now that EL is out of the frame, the focus is back on the league. Backing overs should be a good bet too.

  10. Re: Bundesliga - 24-26 February 12.00 is massive, but Hannover aren't the best away side :\ Dortmund's 2-1 away defeat to Hannover in proved to be the turning point in their season, with an unbeaten run of 16 games following that result.. Kagawa is returning for Dortmund, which might prove significant in this game. Hannover themselves are undefeated in 11 games and have had a boost of confidence progressing in the Europa League midweek. Christian Schulz is back after injury. Dortmund allways seem to find the back of the net in the home games, in contrast to Hannover who tend to keep it tight in the away games. Hannover might be tired after the EL, which might be a factor aswell?

  11. Re: Newcastle v Wolves > Sat 25th Feb

Have to agree with the above post. Newcastle have won all four games at home this year, scoring 8 goals in the process.. They will look to redeem themselves in front of the fans for the 5:0 trashing at Spurs in the last league game. Wolves are starring at the relegation and find themselves in all sorts of trouble. Honestly can't remember the last time they kept a clean sheet in the league. If Wolves are to get anything from here, they will have to outscore they're oponnents. OVER 2.5 @ 1.70
Came through easy enough, exactly what I expected from the game :nana

  13. Re: Serie A - 25-26 February Cagliari - Lecce Cagliari have picked up 10 out of 12 possible points at home this season and are undefeated in the last 4 Serie A games. There is a few young stars in the making in this side and I think they definately have the quality to overcome the relegation fighters Lecce. Lecce are probably going to try keep this a low scoring afair and pick up an away point. The visitors must overcome the absence of midfield pair Christian Obodo and Manuele Blasi who are both suspended.. Home Win @ 1.80

  14. Re: Bundesliga - 24-26 February Mainz - K'lautern Massive game in the bottom half of the Bundesliga, with both teams looking to escape the late season relegation battle. Mainz are a very decent home team, unbeaten in the last 5 games at the Coface Arena, beating the likes of Stuttgart, Bayern & scoring 3 goals in each game. IMO, home form is something that bottom of the table sides rely on and I fancy Mainz to add more misery to Kaiserslaturens season. Home Win @ 1.75 FC. Cologne - Leverkusen The expectations of the fans are not being met by eaither club this season, which has put both coaches under massive pressure. Leverkusen are effectively out of the Champions League and have to focus on achieving a top 4 finish domestically, which at the moment seems very unlikely. Cologne have lost five of their last six games, and have a few injuries & suspensions of late. If Podolski doesn't play, it should be an away win to Leverkusen.. To be on the safe side i reckon goals are very likely in this derby, with the reverse fixture finishing 4:1 to Cologne. OVER 2.5 @ 1.75

  15. Re: Serie A, 17/19 Feb Looks like I've gotten the Genoa v Chievo match completely wrong. Genoa were outplayed in every way, seemed like watching an away team play, no urgency/quality anywhere in the team.. I made my pick based on recent results they achieved at home, beating quality sides, but right now I wish i didn't even get involved :$ Hopefully Palermo do the job and play to they're potential tonight..

  16. Re: Serie A, 17/19 Feb Udinese v Cagliari Udinese lost the influential midfielder Mauricio Isla and goal machine Antonio Di Natale to injuries last week and are not the same team without them. They have lost their last two league games and will remain fourth in the standings regardless of todays outcome. Cagliari have had some decent results in the past 5 league games and have take 7 out of 9 points in the last three. However, the visitors haven't won an away fixture since December. This could be a very tricky game to bet on, with unders looking very likely.. No bet in this one. Palermo v Lazio The home team will be bolstered by the return of their top scorer and captain Fabrizio Miccoli. Palermo are currently 8th in the standings and I really think they can achieve a higher league finish than that, starting with a win here tonight. Lazio on the other hand have plenty of injuries and suspensions for this game. Diakite and Abdoulay Konko are both serving one-match bans, with defenders Biava and Andre Dias both out injured, this could be a potential back line. Just three days ago they played and lost a home Europa League tie to Atletico Madrid.. Palermo win @ 2.30 is definately the value bet of the day. There could be a few goals in this one too. Genoa v Chievo Genoa have won their last four home league games, scoring three goals against Udinese, Napoli and Lazio. They lost they're last 2 league games away, without scoring. I think that in Rodrigo Palacio they have a decent goalscorer, with Jankovic and Sculli capable of finding the net also. Chievo have only 1 win in their last 5 league games, beating Novara. I think they will be fighting for their Serie A status in the coming weeks as things aren't looking going well and they are really struggling. Genoa win @ 1.90
