  1. Re: West Ham v Stoke City > Monday 19th November Tough game tonight.. :p Most have pointed out what is already obvious, Yes they do play the same style but West Ham should edge it, yes Stoke are poor away and struggle to score but I reckon there are better bets available on this one.. Stoke have only 1 clean sheet this season, at Anfield where they frustrated misfiring Liverpool and picked up quite a few bookings in that game, I think it was an obvious plan by Pulis to come away with a point there. If they are to get anything from this game they HAVE to score.. For me they are u underachieving at the minute, they have a better squad each year since the promotion to the EPL. I reckon BTTS 1.90 with PP is a good shout here Also given the disciplinary record, West Ham H 1.3 yellow cards/ per home game, Stoke 3.4 yellow cards, per away game, betting on cards could be an alternative bet.. Both Collins & Tomkins 4 yellows each are expected to start for the home side, N'zonzi, Adam, Whelan etc all get some tackles in for Stoke. OVER 30 booking points is priced @ 2.10 PP which is good enough for me Stoke OVER 10 booking points @ 1.70 PP

  2. Re: Championship > 17/18 November

MILLWALL v LEEDS Cards markets: OVER 30 booking points @1.75 PP Surely a bet of the day considering it is a derby game, with the likes of Diouf involved and a few stupid tackles in the heat of the atmosphere? Any thoughts?
Just 2 cards were needed with this one to come in, Varney took care of it, odds were better than goals that most people took.
  3. Re: Bundesliga > Nov 10-11

Wolfsburg v Leverkusen Wolfsburg are having a nightmare season, no coach, no confidence, 1 goal scored at home in the first 4 games. They are hosting Leverkusen who are currently 7 games undefeated in the league and have beaten Bayern in their last away game.. Some have pointed out the absences of the away side, which are mostly defensive players and the first choice gk. Despite those, Leverkusen are a better side than the current Wolfsburg first eleven, with Schurrle, Kiesling & Sidney Sam as the front trio, they can score against this crisis team. I also think that given that they are underdogs, Wolfsburg will have some of the mounting pressure lifted off and could get a goal here themselves, though i expect them to lose here today. Away win @2.20 & OVER 2.5 @1.65 with PP are my bets in this one Greuther Furth v Gladbach Running out of time to write up this one. To sum it up, the home side don't belong in this league, they are now chasing only their second win in the Bundesliga, having never played in the top floght before. Gladbach are a quality side with goals in them, and even without Marco Reuss they look like having a good season again, both domestically and in the EL. Gladbach are chasing they're 600th league victory here. Away win @2.87 PP
Went quite well in the Bundesliga here today, though Wolfsburg done better than I expected.. Profit overall, Gladbach price was so generous, hope others got on it too ;)

  5. Re: Group E > Nov 7 (Shakhtar, Juventus, Chelsea, FC Nordsjaelland)

Chelsea v Shakhtar Everything here points towards an open attacking game, both teams have goals in them and should be going for it tonight. Chelsea failed to find the net only once since March, Shakhtar have scored in every single game this season, they rested players past weekend in the league, W6 out of 11 away matches in UCL. Both teams to score, OVER 2.5 looks like certainty. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has 14 goals in 13 games this season and looks to be the next big thing H. Mkhitaryan anytime scorer @3.50 PP might be worth a cheeky 1 unit bet ;)
Main bet came in, though I didn't get anything other than learning to spell this guys name out of my 'fun' bet on this one. Goals were never a doubt..

  7. Re: Group F > Nov 7 (BATE, Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille) I will stay away from this group.. So many times in the past few seasons I have seen people classify even the likes of Barca who won it that given year drop points against much weaker oppositions. I do think both Bayern & Valencia should get wins here but surely there is no value betting on either, at current odds. I know Lille are awful this year and Valencia have an admirable home record but f this!

  8. Re: Group G > Nov 7 (Barcelona, Benfica, Celtic, Spartak Moscow) At first glance I see goals written all-over these two games.. Spartak Moscow average 2 goals a game under Emeri in this season's CL, yet they have only 3 points; wit every chance of coming second. I can see Benfica scoring so BTTS & OVER 2.5 would be the obvious choice. Barca should look to earn a point at least v Celtic where its never easy to come and play given the atmosphere. I think a draw in this one would pretty much guarantee the first spot in the group. Celtic gave them a right go at the Nou Camp in the reverse fixture and will now they have to outscore them in order to get anything here, and this Barca team do have a weakness and do leak goals even against average teams. Looking forward to everyones previews and opinions on these :)

  9. Re: Group B > Nov 6 (Arsenal, Schalke, Montpelier, Olympiakos) I took OVER 2.5 goals in both games here tonight, recommended by Mustafa & scotty657 and made some nice money tonight.. Great shouts by some of you who backed Olympiacos too, was at very good odds. Had a gut feeling I should only get involved in this group and made a great call as City, Real and ACM all drew.. Hope everyone had a great night, cheers :)

  10. Re: Serie A > Oct 30 - Nov 1

I think that Internazionale, Lazio & Juve could be a nice realistic treble tonight.
Lazio spoiled the night for me here.. :\ I keep saying to myself, you can't get any sort of consistency betting on Italian football.. I did point out tho, that Napoli shouldn't be touched tonight and I was right about that one.. -1.5 unit for the night
  11. Re: Serie A > Oct 30 - Nov 1 I think that Internazionale, Lazio & Juve could be a nice realistic treble tonight. Having watched Napoli in the last few games, they seem over-reliant on Cavani and Hamsik to get the goals. People here have said Cavani is not ready to play yet, which leaves only 1 world class player in a well organized team, not so much away from home though. Napoli missed so many sitters against Chievo who are IMO one of the weakest sides in the league this season. The likes of Insigne & Vargas are so naive and greedy when in front of goal, and Pandev is well.. Pandev. All three are talented and can hit the back of the net but I am not so sure when Nap play without Cavani. I have already given my preview on the Lazio game, so Juve should have little problem at home to an average Bologna, especially given the size of the squad and talent that Conte can pick from (as long as he doesn't pair up Bendtner & Quag) for this one :) Inter have finally hit the ground this season under Stramaccioni and have good momentum currently. Cassano, Milito and Palacio are all well capable of netting as well as the multi dimensional 5 in the midfield, there is plenty of creativity in this side to carve Samp open at the San Siro. Inter should win comfortably. So those three would make a nice treble IMO

  12. Re: Serie A > Oct 30 - Nov 1

Although most of people here don't bet in over/under market, I just wanna know your impressions about Parma - Roma. I know that Roma played crazy matches lately with high scores but does it mean that over has to be priced around 1.50? Head to head between them says that in last 6 matches there have been only 2 over 2.5. I see not many missing players in gazzetta. I simply don't understand this odds.
I bet on overs/ unders market quite a lot and I don't usually look into the past meetings between the sides, unless they are managed by the same coach for more than two seasons, which in this case either are.. Roma play a very attack minded style under Zeman, who is starting this new trend in Italy of trying to out-score the opposition. I think that this game should have a few goals in it, Parma have surprised me so far this season and Roma have been second to none in terms of entertainment in their games. However at current odds around 1.50 ish its never a safe bet. Wait till around the 15th minute and bet in play on this market if you are looking for better value as odds should rise to around 1.80 and above, if there is no early goal that is.. GL
  13. Re: Serie A > Oct 30 - Nov 1 Lazio v Torino I am ALL OVER Lazio here.. Regardless of the lack of creativity in midfield (on paper that is) the home side is a better team by a country mile. Candreva, Mauri, Gonzalez & Lulic is a very capable midfield, with Klose and Floccari up top. Only few days ago Torino were whistled off the pitch in their home game v Parma where they were comfortably beaten. Add to that the absence of the main center-back pairing, for a side whos only positive is being defensively capable (5th best defense in the league), playing away in Rome against a side expected to compete for the Scudetto. Torino had a good start to the league after being freshly promoted but since that little run, goals have been hard to come by.. I struggle to see any game plan by which Ventura's boys will take any points here. I think Lazio could cover the -1 handicap here tomorrow and keep a clean sheet to go with it. Home win :ok

  14. Re: Swansea v Chelsea > Saturday 3rd November Don't know if you watched the whole City v Swansea game or just the highlights Aidymac :eek It was more a case of City playing safe, boring, little chances created type of game rather than good Swans defending.. Though Swansea did create few nice opportunities, they don't have a quality goalscorer, for all the possession and chances they manufacture. First choice GK Vorm is out for quite a while, so I can't see the home side keeping a clean sheet against a wounded animal in Chelsea next week.. I think Chelsea have more than enough quality to take points from this game, Torres is no big miss. I will do a more detailed write-up, but Chelsea win around 1.8 is good value IMO

  15. Re: Serie A > Oct 27-28 Roma didn't surrender that 2:0 lead, they were robbed. First goal was clearly offside, the penalty should never have stood. In both last nights games, the referees have ruined it. Chievo denied an obvious penalty Referees have ruined this weekend, I won't even bother writing up on how Juve cheated their way to the 3 points v Catania, disgrace :@

  16. Re: Group A > 25 October (Anzhi, Liverpool. Udinese, Young Boys) Liverpool v Anzhi There has been 13 goals in Pool's first 2 EL group stage games. They take on Anzhi who are taking this competition seriously this year. I don't really fancy Liverpool to get anything out of this, judging by they're domestic form currently.. Anzhi posses some good attacking talent and are eager to create European history this term, so they should easily trouble the home side. BTTS is available @ 1.60 with PP, which is good enough for me ;)

  17. Re: Group F > 25 October (AIK Solna, Dnipro, Napoli, PSV) Dnipro v Nap 2/2 in the group stages for Dnipro so far this season, they play decent attacking football under Juande Ramos. Second team or not, this Napoli side has some exciting attacking players in Vargas, Insigne & co who will all try impress tomorrow. No reason for either team to hold back so we should see a few goals here :) My pick is BTTS @ 1.65

  18. Re: Serie A > October 20/21 Genoa V Roma Interesting to see how the new attack-minded Roma copes with Genoa tonight, surely Boriello-Immobile partnership can trouble them here. I hope they continue the trend and play the same way as they have against Atalanta.. Should be an entertaining one to watch.. I fancy a few goals here tonight as the winner is difficult to call. Over 2.5 is priced @ 1.45 so its worth keeping an eye on this one, as if there is no goals before the 20th min, it should rise close to Evens ;) GL

  19. Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 @bcmsimon In fairness it was an open game that Fluminense both could have and should have won. Fred was greedy when 2v1 where they could have went 3:1 up. Also the home side conceded two freak set piece goals, but credit to 10-man Gremio, footy at its best :loon Didn't see the other game but thats what you get sometimes from teams fighting to survive i guess.. Santos v Atletico kick off now, should be a few goals in this one, if its half as good as the match i just seen I'm in for a treat Lesson to everyone, always double check team sheets pre-game if unsure It was a bit silly of you to blindly take someone elses picks, they should really be used as guidelines really ;) GL in the future
