    Sport Boxing
Event Chad Dawson - Jean Pascal
    Selection Chad Dawson by decision
    Strength 10/10
    Date 14/08/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Boylesports @ 1.90
Reasoning Light Heavyweight (175 lbs.) - This fight is the biggest fight that could be made at light heavyweight at the moment, and will be for the light heavyweight Championship. Chad Dawson (29-0, 17 KO) is the best light heavyweight on the planet right now, and is one of the best boxers in the world too. He fights Jean Pascal (25-1, 16 KO) for the lineal championship and a WBC trinket that is rather meaningless. I like Pascal, but he always seems to fight the wrong gameplan. He has great boxing skills, but he wants to impress his fans, so he goes into brawl mode. As he's not a massive light heavyweight, it doesn't help him one bit. I think Dawson will struggle early on because he'll be facing against a guy with quick hand speed for the first time in his professional career, but I think he'll have enough to outpoint Pascal. I hope Chad Dawson will win by decision. Good luck!
    Sport Boxing
Event Devon Alexander - Andriy Kotelnik
    Selection Devon Alexander
    Strength 10/10
    Date 07/08/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Boylesports @ 1.17
Reasoning Junior Welterweight (140 lbs.) - Devon Alexander (20-0, 13 KO) holds both the IBF and WBC junior welterweight titles, and defends them against Ukranian fighter, Andriy Kotelnik (31-3-1, 13 KO) in his hometown of St. Louis next weekend. Alexander is one of the most talented fighters in the sport, and definitely could rule the division along the line. He impressively stopped Juan Urango in 8 rounds last time out, and defeated Junior Witter in 8 too before that. Andriy Kotelnik hasn't fought since his biggest payday against Amir Khan, which he lost by wide unanimous decision, and I think that he'll be too rusty to cause Alexander any problems. I hope Devon Alexander will win. Good luck!
    Sport Boxing
Event Tavoris Cloud - Glen Johnson
    Selection Tavoris Cloud by decision
    Strength 10/10
    Date 07/08/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Boylesports @ 2.62
Reasoning Light Heavyweight (175 lbs.) - Undefeated IBF light heavyweight titlist Tavoris Cloud (20-0, 18 KO) defends his title for the first time in St. Louis on a stacked tripleheader title fight card against veteran Glen Johnson (50-13-2, 34 KO). Cloud is a talented fighter, and although his record suggests power, he shouldn't be able to stop Johnson, who has one of the best chins in boxing. Johnson might be a shot fighter by now, so this bet has some risk depending on Johnson's conditioning and where he's at in his career. I have no doubt that Cloud is talented enough to beat Johnson. I hope Tavoris Cloud will win by decision. Good luck!
  2. Re: UEFA Europa League > 5th August

    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
    Event Bangor City - Maritimo
    Selection Maritimo (-1.5) (Asian-handicap)
    Strength 10/10
    Date 05/08/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 1.92
Reasoning UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round Second Leg - Maritimo truly outclassed Bangor City in the home leg, winning by 8 goals to 2. In a humiliating five minutes, Bangor City threw away the tie by conceding several needless goals to the classier Portugese side. Bangor City will be the home side, and Maritimo will probably rest their best players, but I still think they won't be taking any major risks and field a strong enough side to win the game. Maritimo are just a class above Bangor City, and I think that they'll win this game by more than two goals. I hope Maritimo will win by more than 1.5 goals. Good luck!
  3. Re: UEFA Champions League > 3rd - 4th August

    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event Anderlecht - The New Saints
    Selection Anderlecht (-2.5) (Asian-handicap)
    Strength 10/10
    Date 03/08/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 2.37
Reasoning UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round Second Leg - Anderlecht were comfortable winners at the Racecourse last week, winning by 3 goals to 1. The New Saints gave up a good fight, but were truly outclass by the top seeds in the draw. Anderlecht will have home advantage now and will look to put this tie to bed with a comfortable victory over the Welsh Champions. They are by far the better team, and they should win by three goals in my opinion. Bangor, the other Welsh side still in Europe, lost 8-2 against Maritimo in the Europa League, and I think the gulf in class is about the same. I hope Anderlecht will win by more than 2.5 goals. Good luck!
  4. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread

6/5 with bet 365 is very decent. I've gone in again at that price. I'm concerned about the robbery like you are though' date=' so it's not a big bet by any means. I'm looking forward to this fight though.[/quote'] Same here... Tough fight tonight though... I re-watched Uzelkov KO-6 Campillo, and Campillo was awful, he's improved so much since then... If anyone wants a stream for tonight, just PM me :)
  5. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Yuri Nuzhnenko @ 2.75 Boylesports 10 points Yuri Nuzhnenko @ 3.50 SportingBet 5 points Nuzhnenko's only defeat came in his WBA title tilt against Vyacheslav Senchenko last year, and he was beaten by the better man. Senchenko is just more skillful, has more hand speed, and good movement around the ring. However, Senchenko is a league above Matthew Hatton, and I see this fight as a 50/50 fight. I like Hatton. He's tried his best to get out of Ricky's shadow, he gives everything in every fight, and he wants to get the same success as his brother. His commitment is outstanding. I expected him to dominate Branco and win by a comprehensive decision, but it was a lacklustre performance and much closer than what I expected. Alvarez would batter Matthew in September, but I think Nuzhnenko will get their first. Alexander Alexeev @ 2.75 Boylesports 10 points Denis Lebedev defeated Enzo Maccarinelli with all the fireworks last year, and good on him for getting the best win of his career in such a fashion. However, Lebedev might have heavy hands, but his hand speed is snail's pace. Alexeev can also box, but often forgets to throw punches as he closes his opponent down. He was badly exposed against Victor Ramirez that he was all hype, but I think he'll get redemption with a split decision victory over Lebedev on Saturday. Tua-Barrett Under 7.5 Rounds @ 1.73 SportingBet 100 points I took this last week, and I think it's dropped down a bit since then. This is ridiculous. Barrett hasn't taken a punch well in years and all Tua has is power. Guess what happens? Tua 1-5 Rounds @ 1.61 SportingBet 10 points Guerrero by decision @ Evs SportingBet 7 points Smith @ 4.5 (Various) 2 points I think Smith has a chance here, so I've partly covered myself here. Guerrero has been having it easy so far, but he's yet to face someone who can play "D". Smith can, and will be tricky, but I think Guerrero will win most of the rounds based on punch output.

  6. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread

Anyone think that Santa Cruz can sneak in a win against Judah? Judah's not the same fighter he used to be and we all remember what happened when he overlooked Baldomir. Plus' date=' Santa Cruz is NO slouch, he is definitely capable of pulling the big upset. Anyone taking Santa Cruz?[/quote'] No. Santa Cruz had one good performance against Casamayor for the lineal lightweight crown, and since then went 3-1, three victories against cans and a stoppage defeat to the extremely limited Antonio Pitalua. I would take Judah by stoppage, but the guy is a complete and utter cock, and you don't know what kind of Judah will turn up. On his day, I think he can still challenge the best at 140. Look for Judah to call out everyone after winning every round tonight, but stay inactive for six months.
  7. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread

Hmm.. I wouldn't be backing Tua ITD myself. Tua kind of reminds me of Rocky Juarez. He has talent and skill but at times can just be a lazy fighter in there. His last fight was a 12 round decision against Friday Ahunanya... a very limited fighter, who has only been stopped once in fairness, but with Tuas power, a stoppage was expected. Instead he laboured to a points win, and this is what he might do here if Barrett is moving well. Barrett just went the distance with Ustinov. However, I think you are right about him not wanting to take much punishment at this stage. His desire has gone. But I just can't trust Tua to stop him, any more than I would trust Rocky Juarez to stop anybody. I'm not saying for one second that Barrett will win the fight... he may well get stopped. But David Tua is a very lazy fighter. I would leave this fight alone.. there are better opportunities coming up.
Sorry mate, but I'll agree with the rest... Tua ITD is, even though I hate saying it, a banker... (Have I just killed off any hope of us winning money now!?) Barrett is shot and has no punch resistance left... Odlanier Solis has less power in his left hook than a post-prime Tua, and he floored and finished Barrett in two. Did you watch the Ustinov fight? Ustinov had him on spaghetti legs in the opening round, but because he had the killer instinct of a bumble bee he liked the idea of clinching and hugging for the next twelve rounds :zzz I just think that one left hook will be more than enough for Tua, and wouldn't be surprised if this was a first round stoppage win, with the WBO making Tua their mandatory challenger.
  8. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 8th July Apologies in advance, this is going to be an ultra-long post, and I don't want to flood a page with all my tips ;)

    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event F91 Dudelange - Randers FC
Selection Randers FC (-1.5) (Asian Handicap)
    Strength 10/10
    Date 08/07/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.88 (Back)
Reasoning UEFA Europa League 1st Round Qualification Phase Second Leg - Randers FC cruised to a 6-1 win last week over Luxembourg side F91 Dudelange, and the difference in class is pretty obvious by the scoreline. Randers will probably play their reserve side, but that will probably be enough for them to win. The Dudelagne side just can't compete with the Danish side, simple as that. I hope Randers FC will win by more than 1.5 goals. Good luck!
    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event Port Talbot Town - TPS
    Selection TPS
    Strength 10/10
    Date 08/07/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Betfair @ 1.88 (Back)
Reasoning UEFA Europa League 1st Round Qualifying Phase Second Leg - The scoreline was flattering for Port Talbot Town in the first leg, who lost 3-1 to TPS and were handed a lifeline with an away goal from Martin Rose in the second half. Before that, they were being completely outplayed by the more talented TPS Turku side from Finland. I expect more of the same tonight, and even a win by more than one goal. I hope TPS will win. Good luck!
    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
    Event Banants - Anorthosis Famagusta
    Selection Under 2.5 Total Goals
    Strength 10/10
    Date 08/07/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Betdaq @ 2.31 (Back)
Reasoning UEFA Europa League 1st Round Qualifying Phase Second Leg - Banants lost by 3-0 to Anorthosis Famagusta in the first leg, but now with home advantage and less incentive for Anorthosis Famagusta, I expect the game to be a much tighter affair with not much goals. I think Famagusta will edge the Armenian side, but not as comfortably as they did at home. I hope this game has less than 2.5 total goals. Good luck!
    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event FK Tauras Taurage - Llanelli
Selection FK Tauras Taurage (-1) (Asian Handicap)
    Strength 10/10
    Date 08/07/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 3.20 (Back)
Reasoning UEFA Europa League 1st Round Qualifying Phase Second Leg - FK Tauras Taurage were unlucky not to go back to Lithuania with a win against Llanelli, but the Welsh side held on for a 2-2 draw at Stebonheath. This time round, Tauras will be in their element and normal conditions, and despite not having a fully filled stadium, I expect them to beat Llanelli here. I hope FK Tauras Taurage will win. Good luck!
    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event FK Mogren - UE Santa Coloma
Selection FK Mogren (-2.5) (Asian Handicap)
    Strength 10/10
    Date 08/07/2010
    Bookmaker/Price 10bet @ 1.83 (Back)
Reasoning UEFA Europa League 1st Round Qualifying Phase Second Leg - FK Mogren comfortably battered UE Santa Coloma 3-0 in the first leg, and now they're at home, I think they'll want to impress their fans and win by a similar margin. The Over/Under market offers nothing to me, so I'll be brave and go for a Morgen 3 goal win. I hope FK Morgen win by three goals. Good luck!
    Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event Sliema Wanderers - HNK Šibenik
    Selection HNK Šibenik
    Strength 10/10
    Date 08/07/2010
    Bookmaker/Price Betfair @ 1.51 (Back)
Reasoning UEFA Europa League 1st Round Qualifying Phase Second Leg - Sliema Wanderers and HNK Šibenik drew 0-0 in the first leg, which was a surprise in itself, but here, I see HNK Šibenik beating Silema Wanderers pretty comfortably despite not having home advantage. HNK Šibenik play their football in Croatia and are a decent team when they get going, and I don't rate any team out of Malta. I hope HNK Šibenik will win. Good luck!

  12. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. vs. Zsolt Bedak Vazquez Jr. is hyped up to be the next superstar in Puerto Rico (the reason Integrated PPV have picked it up), and he displayed his knockout power against Marvin Sonsona to win the WBO super bantamweight title. But, Sonsona has NO dedication, and couldn't care less if he won or loss in that ring. Bedak has a seasoned amateur background behind him and is still unbeaten, and I think he'll last the distance against Vazquez, providing there's no hometown stoppage. 15. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread

Krzysztof Wlodarczyk rematches Giacobbe Fragomeni for the vacant WBC cruiserweight title on Saturday, in Wlodarczyk's native Poland. The first fight was a draw (I had Wlodarczyk ahead 115-112) and he scored a knockdown in the ninth but failed to put his foot on the pedal to go for the stoppage. I think with the crowd behind him and Wlodarczyk kicking himself for not stopping Fragomeni in the first fight, that Wlodarczyk will score a late stoppage against the fading Italian. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk @ 1.30 SportingBet 10 points Krzysztof Wlodarczyk by KO, TKO or DQ @ 2.75 SportingBet 5 points
