  1. Re: Not to lose doubles NEW FOR 2005!!! No mate, it's one or the other. (I do Staking B on the internet.) The only reason I offer up staking A is for the benefit of people who might not want to spend time putting on four seperate bets and just select "4 doubles". I think the staking sometimes puts people off? However, I'd say it would be more beneficial to do the calculated stakes because of examples like today where a winning bet paid less than 25% of the investment :o I guess otherwise you'd be cheering on draws more than the actual team winning!! Interesting to see it side by side though. Roll on next weekend...

  2. Re: Not to lose doubles NEW FOR 2005!!! Bet 2 Kidderminster v Southend R & D v Swansea Southend and Swansea to win or draw, (both matches 2.20 the win and 3.25 the draw with Bet 365) Staking A: 4 x £5 doubles on wins and draws Staking B: £7.11 Southend / Swansea, £3.27 on draw / draw, £4.81 on Southend / draw and £4.81 on draw / Swansea (returns £14.42 profit) Total £20.00 stake Danny

  4. Re: Not to lose doubles NEW FOR 2005!!! Gillingham 0 Reading 0 Oldham 2 Tranmere 2 Staking A returned £51.20 = £31.20 profit Staking B returned £37.56 = £17.56 profit BP - you're right of course, I should have said "in any of the 4 cases highlighed". The point I was trying to make was that the same amount of profit could be obtained if successful. I don't want to reveal the selection method just yet, although the shrewdies out there should suss it ;) Cheers for now Danny

  5. This system may be familiar to some of you. It involves backing two teams across two matches, where you believe they will not lose. This would mean 4 doubles. Stakes can either be kept level for simplicity which means a variable return every week, or using the odds provided, stakes can be calculated so the same return is gained if one of the 4 doubles comes in. This probably makes no sense whatsoever but here is today's first bet. I am using a strict set of rules for my qualifiers. Gillingham v READING (odds Reading 2.30, odds for draw 3.20) Oldham v TRANMERE (odds Tranmere 2.50, odds for draw 3.20) Bank £200.00 Staking A = £4 doubles of £5.00 (Reading/Tranmere, Reading/Tranmere draw, Reading draw/Tranmere, Reading draw/Tranmere draw) total £20.00 Staking B = £6.53 Reading/Tranmere, £5.10 Reading win/Tranmere draw, £4.70 Reading draw/Tranmere win, £3.67 Reading draw/Tranmere draw total £20.00. This will return £17.56 PROFIT in any case. Cheers Danny

  6. Re: Is this tactic allowed? I have a couple of spreadsheets in Excel. One is the old 'Not-to-lose-doubles' spreadsheet, basically 2 teams, 4 bets. It calculates the required stakes for level outcomes. I also have a single game calculator where you're backing 2 of the three options, it shows you the correct staking for an equal outcome again. PM your email address to me and I will gladly help out. Danny

  7. Re: Multiple draws Selections for Week 16 Norwich v Spurs :( Coventry v Sheff Utd :( Blackpool v Hull :( Chesterfield v Luton :( Colchester v Bournemouth :( Stockport v Bristol City :( Chester v Scunthorpe :D Notts Co v Northampton :D 56 fivefolds @ 10p 2 draws from 8 :\ Danny

  8. Re: "How To Earn A Living From Football Betting"... I've had a quick look at this. If he's making a profit 70% of the time and the typical return is SEVEN TIMES HIS STAKE (this equates to a 46 point profit every ten weeks!!!) then he's absolutley no need to sell it. To me it seems that it worked well last season but it may have been a lucky year and who's to say it will work as well again? That is why he's selling it, in case it fails. Anyone can find a set of rules that worked one year but there is no guarantee it'll work in future. I have an idea it might be to do wih even money teams. 3 teams to win at even money equals 7-1. Don't buy it. Merry xmas to all punters... Danny

  9. Re: £100 a week??? Well done, you've made a good start! :clap Just one thing : Can you update your results and bank after each game please? The only reason I know you're winning most of these bets is because I'm having to do the work to find out. Some members on here won't make the effort. Thanks! Good luck Danny

  10. Re: Glory Hunt £20 - £1000 using +2.5 goals Cheers guys, yeah the other thing with Newcastle was the lack of strikers, no Shearer or Klivert. I was slightly worried I'd made the wrong cover today (2-0 would've been far more comfortable!!) but Crewe are really good at scoring at home and saved the day for me. Bank now stands at £231.19 after commission on today's bet. Profit of £171.19 Danny

  11. Re: £100 a week??? Welcome to the board and good luck with your "system". However, can I just say that setting targets on a weekly basis maybe the wrong thing to do, especially when you are attempting to win 30%+ of your bank each week. What if you hit an unexpected loser, what if there are not enough qualifiers in that particular week? Will you raise your stakes or bet on games that aren't proper system qualifiers in order to meet your target? If I were you I'd settle for a lower figure than the one you are suggesting in terms of your bank. All the best Danny
