  1. Re: 2012/13 Heineken Cup Nobber, Yes, the cap was +1 to Leicester yesterday. Apologies for not putting any reasoning behind the Treviso bet, I was in a bit of a rush. Treviso have beaten most handicaps this season and are vastly underated, people forget it's basically half the Italian team plus a couple of good imports.

  2. Re: 2012/13 Heineken Cup Newport, Steve, but living in Cardiff. Roger Lewis will be known as the person who killed Welsh Rugby. Did you know his salary is linked to paying off Barclays early? So, instead of giving the regions a decent budget to be competitive - the WRU are paying off the stadium debt earlier than it needs to, benefiting no one apart from Lewis. As for the "Regions" Llanelli and Cardiff stayed exactly the same - Newport and Gwent were properly shafted by the West Walian idiots in the WRU. Ah well.

  3. Re: 2012/13 Heineken Cup ERC - Bayonne v Dragons - 10th January Bayonne -15. I'm a NGD Dragons fan by the way, own a season ticket and have been all over Europe with them, I was in Mogliano last month, which I thoroughly recommend if you're ever going near Venice. Anyway. This is the Dragons 4th game since the 26th December. The game against the Blues was thrown away and then a decent, but losing, result against the Ospreys who had just hammered the Scarlets gave some hope for improvement. But no, we got mullered away in Connaught last week 31-11. I was at the Drags v Bayonne game last year and we stupidly threw away a lead before half time and were quite unlucky not to score at the end of the 80 but what struck me was the different is physicality between the two sides. We have a decent team out, but it's one we're forced to play because of injuries when in reality most of them should be being rested in this mean nothing game, it's also Steff's first game at 10 for a long time after falling out of favour with our inept coaches.

Tom Prydie, Will Harries, Adam Hughes, Andy Tuilagi, Mike Poole, Steffan Jones, Jonathan Evans, Owen Evans, Hugh Gustafson, Nathan Buck, Adam Jones, Rob Sidoli, Jevon Groves, Lewis Evans ©, Ieuan Jones.
As usual we've nothing on the bench. I'm taking Bayonne at -15 @ Bet365 and no doubt that will increase a point or two before kick off, I'm also having a little on the overs. Bayonne's form has been patchy but this is a must win 5 try bonus point game for them if they're to stay in with a chance of qualification. I'd mark this as a 70% chance.
  4. Some of you may remember me. First and foremost BEARMAN is out for the Dragons, that is huge. Look, I could bore you with all kinds of details but the -2 on the Blues with BET365 should be taken now, today, this instance. When they have finally gotten their heads out of their bums the cappers will realise that this should be at LEAST a -8 game for the Blues. Christmas come early, errr....almost.

  5. Re: Inside Poker $200 to $5000 strategy

Haven't read the article yet, but I do similar on Boss and am quite confident of getting any starting bankroll from about $40 up to $1000 quite quickly and "safely". I play a max of 5% of my bankroll, BUT move down rigidly when necessary. So starting off with $200, I would play a $10 game, but if I lost it I would go down to $5 and stay there till I had over $200 again. When I hit $400, I can go up to $20. (I have done the same with 10% instead of 5% when "in a rush" without any real problems too). I'm quite confident I demolish the $3, $5 and $10 STTs, I'm profitable at $20 and $30. I'm inconsistent at $50. Off to read the article now ;)
    Why haven't you retired?
  6. Re: Rugby - Weekend Internationals (24th - 26th August) Not really a tip but France -18.5 @ 4.5 on Betfair is as good as value bet as you'll find, IMO. If we had a functioning line out then this would be too big and I can see France easily being 10 points up by HT. Shanks is a big miss in the centres. Also, a French loss just before the RWC will be frowned up, reckon they will be up for it more than our lads.

  7. Re: Magners Celtic League 2007/08 Hello chaps. Superb write ups and info 2hcb - top quality. :clap I'm friends with a couple of mad Leinster and Munster fans who really know their stuff and post with them on another non gambling forum, going to invite them over to PL as their knowledge and input are fantastic - together I think we can really make a sucessful and profitable attack on the bookies this season. I forecast a 50 point profit season, at least.

  8. Re: 3 card brag! When sailing back to blighty after the First Gulf War at the tender age of 19 I managed to lose 4 months saved wages at brag. Haven't played it since!

  9. Re: Rugby World Cup 2007 - Official Thread Bit of Value? I'm backing England to win their group. Anyway. It's simple really, if Joel Jutge, who is reffing the crunch game between England and the Saffas refs in the style of Saturdays game, which I think he will do then he'll give England the platform to score from lineouts, like the 5 they scored against us. His officiating, whilst not the reason for the thrasing, was very suspect at lineouts and I believe this will play to Englands strengths. Still 3.5 available
