    For all the big hand knockers I have had pkt aces and kings 57 times and they have both won over 85% of the time and thats at 10 seater fixed limit tables
    Congratulations, very good winning odds there!!! I'm not sure what the stats are but I think it's around 70% on 10 seaters??

    Re: Classify Players (having trouble) It's impossible on-line. You could be playing against some little rich kid, for example, and he doesn't give a monkeys about the $10.00 buy in fee and just fancies seeing some cards. Alternatively you could be playing against someone who's wife has just thrown a shoe at him and needs to finish the game asap. IMO there are far to many variables on line to be able to classify players to a high standard.

    Re: Cash Games - Best and Worst starting hands? I've been playing quite a lot of cash recently and it's gotten so bad with AA that I just chuck everything in and close my eyes. Had KK 4 times on Sunday and didn't win a hand, it was horrible when I realised that the reason I lost is because I played them so badly. Just when you think you have a grip on the game you realise that you've just gone up another level and that you still have so much to learn. I'm an averagely decent tournament/STT player and got my arse kicked all over the place on 0.25/0.50 NL If anyone can recommend some cash play books then that'd be great.

    Re: How do re-buys and add-on's affect value? I just ignore the fact that it's a rebuy and have really had some excellent value recently. My site has around 50/50 Freezeouts/Rebuys which means the novelty of the rebuy has worn off for a lot of people and it's a much more normal ish type of game.

    Chris Larham is out of the Australian Rugby World Cup Squad – and with it any chance of them doing well. This bodes very well for Wales as they now may be able to overcome the Aussies at home in the Millenium Stadium next year to top the group, more importantly avoiding NZ in the Quarter Finals.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

    You can currently get 50/1 (Betfair) on Wales winning the World Cup…I really don’t think they will but that is certainly big enough odds to lay them off once they hit the Quarter Finals.

    Re: Magners Celtic League Betting Thread 2006/7 Dragons V Munster At around 7 O’clock this evening the people of Limerick and Cork will down Turnips and check the neighbourhood watch (everyone gets to wear it for 15 minutes each), the air will be full of the sound of tractors being parked up and the kids will be running home after disentangling themselves from abandoned combine harvesters eagerly awaiting the utter thrashing their heroes in dark pink will be giving to the poor upstarts from the Welsh Rivera, Newport.

    The Dark Pinks are sending across what can only be described as a first rate squad, the team are so confident they are taking a raffle on who will score the fifth try, their only worry is if the big metal whirligig at Cork Airport can actually stay in the air for a whole hour.

    Newport Gwent Dragons on the other hand are putting out a team of Academy players coupled with a few seasoned professionals; Colin Charvis (58) and Ian Gough (42) and their only job will be to try and stop the academy kids from throwing their scrum caps into the crowd and hoying themselves into the Mighty River Usk. The good news for the Dragons is that “Billy Smart” aka “Krusty” aka “The Circus” Mike Hercus is still so fecking shocking that he’s still on the bench despite some 15 year old children making their debuts for the Dragons tonight.

    Recommendation: Dragons –4 at Skybet.

    On a more serious note. Munster are sending over a third rate team tonight but the bookies are paying them far too much respect and the Dragons far too little. I was going to leave it alone til I saw this: Newsflash:

    Another thing is in the early stages of an STT I think it's important to try and get a read on the table, such as who are the fish, who are the steady players, good players to watch out for etc...
    Definately. I also think the higher level you play on STT's the more leverage a large stack has. A player on a $2.00'er really wan't be too arsed about calling you with his AJ.

    Re: Legal Supplement/Stimulants I've been experimenting with some "legal Herbal highs" I bought from my local toking shop. They are unbelievable and this is coming from someone who has a smiley acid face tattooed on their person :$ They are cheap and effective and work very well. Maybe not everyones thing I know but my poker site doesn't get loose until around 11pm UK time. I obviously don't recommend boshing loads of capsules even if they are legal and "herbal" but they certainly aided me in winning $500.00 bucks last weekend.
