  1. Re: Sky Bet Championship > October 26th - 28th Derby to beat Birmingham @8/11 [PaddyPower] Derby (-1) @2/1 [PaddyPower] Derby is a different side under Steve McClaren and they play more attacking football. They scored 10 goals in the last 3 Championship games. Birmingham are without Jesse Lingard who is out with a knee injury. I expect Derby to be too strong for Birmingham here and take all 3 points. We might see quite a few goals here...

  2. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Saturday October 26th Plymouth to beat Mansfield @5/2 [PaddyPower] Plymouth Draw-No-Bet @6/4 [PaddyPower] Mansfield are missing some players in defence with John Dempster & James Jennings suspended and Martin Riley - injured. Under fire Plymouth's manager has almost a fully-fit squad and can take all 3 points today.

  3. Re: Liverpool v West Bromwich Albion > Saturday October 26th West Brom to beat Liverpool @7/1 [PaddyPower] West Brom (+1) @15/8 [PaddyPower] West Brom to score at least 1 First-Half goal @9/5 [PaddyPower] West Brom are unbeaten in the last 5 games. They have won 4 of the last 5 matches against Liverpool. West Brom have scored one First-Half goals in their last 12 away games. I don't think West Brom deserve to be 7/1 in this game especially with their record against Liverpool

  4. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 24th

It is unlikely that after the draw for the group stage of the Europa League fans Chernomorets considered Ludogorets real rival in the struggle for access to the playoffs. Ludogorets "Eagles" in the first round created a sensation by beating PSV on the road, and then secured success victory over Dinamo Zagreb. The bulgarians will arrive in the status of the group leader. After two rounds , they scored maximum points. Chernomorets, modest. In the first match of the team on the road defeated Dinamo Zagreb - 2:1 , but lost the second match , at home PSV - 0:2. Now Odessa must beat Ludogorets otherwise, the chances of getting out of the group will fall to the minimum. I really hope there will be goals in it... :) Referee: Tudor (Romania) Statistics meetings Ukrainian clubs with clubs from Bulgaria: +12 =5 -4, 26:19 Chernomorets remained without Sergei Samodin and Elis Bakay , who are injured. Questionable and participation in the game Franck Dja Djedje , who was replaced at half-time in the game with Metalist. However, in these positions Grygorchuk have a choice. Left can play Sito Riera (or right) while right midfielder likely Leo Matos. In the attack will come back rested Antonov, who missed the last two matches of the Ukrainian Championship because of a suspension. It is unlikely that there will be changes in the middle of the field , which very effectively acts triangle Kovalchuk - Bobko - Gai. In the right defense, Kutas , who missed some time due to injury, could replace Zubeyko , but more likely that Pavel will take his position on the right wing. Finally , the gate protects the captain Dmitry Bezotosniy. Bulgarians have less significant losses. Out of the game only injured Terziev and Mantilla. Chernomorets in the last 4 official games did not score a single goal and that is a worrying trend. But please fans of "sailors" is the fact that in the last two meetings Chernomorets had two clean sheets. All is well in defense and Ludogorts the same. In two group matches bulgarians left their gates shut. To continue with the "dry" series and probably should not expect goals in Odessa tonight. Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals 1.75 NordicBet
I just went for both to score and Ludogorets to win... Hope you're wrong !!! lol ;)
  5. Bahia v Atl. Nacional 24/10/2013 23:30 Atletico Nacional have lost just one of the last 32 matches while Bahia have won just one of the last 7 matches. Atl. Nacional are 1-0 form the first leg and I expect them to finish the job tonight. They have ex Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel who will score every time when he gets the opportunity... For Bahia, the most dangerous player is striker Fernandao with 13 goals so far... Atl. Nacional to win @17/10 [PaddyPower} Atl. Nacional Dra No Bet @Evens [PaddyPower]

  6. Re: Ice Hockey > European leagues > 2012/13 Norway - Eliteserien: 24/10/2013 Frisk Asker v Stjernen (17.30) Stjernen (+2,5) - @5/6 [PaddyPower] Stjernen to win - @13/2 [PaddyPower] In the last 6 games played at home against Stjernen, Frisk managed to win just once (6-2). They lost the other five (2-4, 5-6, 1-4, 0-6) in 2012 and early on this year (2-3). I don't know why the odds are so high for a home win so I'm going for an upset here.

  7. Re: Ligue 1 Orange > October 18th - 20th

Sochaux – Monaco Sochaux have 3 key suspensions here, two of which are at the back. Their best player Sebastien Corchia (RB) is banned along with Cedric Kante (CB). Right winger Roy Contout is the other casualty. With LB Jerome Roussillon injured again, their backline is going to be very patchwork and downgraded. It’ll probably contain Faussurier – Carlao – Zouma and somebody else, maybe Mathieu Peybernes who is absolutely awful. Monaco meanwhile, have relatively few squad issues. Left back Kurzawa is injured whilst striker Emmanuel Riviere is still out too. They do welcome back midfield lynchpin Jeremy Toulalan though, which is a boost. In theory, Monaco should win this match easily. The Sochaux defence (which was poor anyway) is so banged up that it’d be a minor miracle if they kept a clean sheet. In fact, it’d be a miracle if they can restrict Monaco to scoring any less than 3 goals, thats how bad it looks on paper. The visitors are obviously a quality team and have some world class players in their ranks. Honestly, they should be too good for Sochaux here but there are some factors which go against Monaco here. First, Sochaux have a new coach Herve Renard. For those of you who might be familiar with the name, he’s the ex Zambia boss who led them to African Nations glory just a couple of years ago. Sochaux have appointed a very good coach IMO and I’m sure everyone will be highly motivated to perform for him today, maybe inducing ‘new manager syndrome’ This will be Renard’s first match in charge and there should be a decent crowd inside the stadium which will create a good atmosphere for once. Sochaux had a reputation last season of upsetting ‘big teams’ and they usually like this role as an underdog. Another factor in their favour is that away teams usually perform badly in 2pm (local) kick off time’s in France. For some reason, maybe circadian rhythm related, they struggle badly in these contests and few have managed to win this season. Monaco have also had a bunch of international players travel a long way in this past week or so which might have a negative effect on performance. This is a potential banana skin fixture for Claudio Ranieri’s men, and rain is forecast for the match which might upset them too. I still think Monaco will win but there are enough potential doubts here which put me off backing them. A gut feeling tells me Sochaux could somehow spring a shock, even though it goes against all logic. I will however back over 2.5 goals. Sochaux can’t defend, but they can attack, and this should be an open contest. Prediction: Sochaux 2-3 Monaco Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.08 4/10 St Etienne – Lorient Sainte have had injury problems this season but their situation is slightly improved for this match. Firstly, they welcome back key CB Loic Perrin, and secondly hitman Brandao is back for them upfront. LB Brison is still out and so is striker Mevlut Erding but they are in better condition than they were before the international break. Sainte’s only other worry is the suspension of attacker Romain Hamouma. As ever, Lorient have plenty of injury problems. Defensively, things aren’t too bad at least and their only absentee is RB Gassama. However, they are massively depleted in midfield. I won’t give a full list here but they miss about half a dozen players for various reasons, leaving them with a likely central midfield pairing of Mathieu Coutadeur and Cheikh Doukoure, which is hardly very imposing. At least key striker Jeremie Aliadiere should be fully fit again and he’ll link up with Vincent Aboubakar upfront. Lorient are actually in the relegation zone having lost 4 of their last 5 games and it hasn’t been a very good start to the season for them. Their main problem has been away form, where they’ve lost all 5 fixtures, scoring just 1 goal in the process. Lorient have only actually had 4 home games all season, and amazingly they have to play on the road again today. They don’t enjoy being away from their own artificial pitch and it looks like it could be another struggling afternoon. Prior to the start of this round of fixtures, only Evian and Sochaux had conceded more goals than Les Merlus, so its obvious thats where a major part of their problems lies, although scoring goals on the road is a massive concern too. One glimmer of hope for Lorient is that their opponents today also struggled before the international break. After a blistering start to the season, St Etienne have now lost 3 of their last 4 games and erased all of their early momentum. But I think they are a better team that their record suggests. Lets look back at those 4 games and see what went wrong. They were dominating Toulouse and leading 1-0 before surrendering 2 goals in the 2nd half, somehow losing eventually. A defeat to Marseille followed which is no disgrace, and they kept things close away against a good team. The big letdown was against Bastia when they blew a 2-0 lead with just 4 mins left, only to draw 2-2. Truth be told they should’ve won that game 4 or 5 nil! They probably could’ve beaten Monaco away too but fell to a late goal and lost 1-2. What’s happened is that a collection of events have cost them and they’ve continually been shooting themselves in the foot. Realistically, they are easily a better team than Lorient and should be able to bounce back to winning ways here as long as they don’t keep doing stupid things. I think they’ll be in for a comfortable afternoon, Lorient don’t have a fit enough squad to compete properly right now. Prediction: St Etienne 3-1 Lorient Recommended bet: St Etienne -0.75 @ 1.88 5/10
Great call again for over 2,5 goals which came in just after one hour of play (Monaco going 2-0 up in the first 10 mins). Well done, meatman !!!
  8. Re: Brazil Serie A 2013 Thread Santos v International - over 2,5 goals @Evens [PaddyPower] Santos have a good home record: 7-6-1... They have scored 8 goals in the last 4 games at home. International's away record is 4-6-4 which is not that bad but they have lost the last 3 away games. They have failed to score once in the last 4 away games (against Bahia). I can see an open game with a couple of goals. Both To Score is available at @4/6 [PaddyPower] but I think this one can produce a little bit more than a 1-1 draw. Gremio v Corinthians - draw @2/1 [PaddyPower} - under 2,5 goals @4/9 [PaddyPower] There is one boring team in Brazil and that's Corinthians. They just seem to play for draws at the moment. In the last 6 games they have drawn 4, including the last 2 away games (0-0 finished both). Both teams are struggling to score goals and it seems like the bookies got the prices right.

  9. Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013 Elverum v Follo over 2,5 goals @4/7 [PaddyPower] over 3,5 goals @11/8 [PaddyPower] With only 4 games remaining Elverum and Follo are at the bottom of the League 2. Both teams have nothing to play for and I expect an open game with at least 3-4 goals. I agree with Lisandri: home win for Hødd

  10. Re: Johnstones Paint Trophy > Tuesday October 8th Evening lads!!! I got a cheeky 4 games accumulator that I want to share with you: Sheffield United v Hartlepool - Hartlepool to score 3 or more goals @12/1 [PaddyPower] Hartlepool trashed Bradford 5-0 in the first stage of the competition and Sheffield UTD are just awful atm. 12/1 ??? Why not !!! ;) Wolves v Notts County - over 3,5 goals @8/5 [PaddyPower] I see an open game and hopefully some goals in this one. York City v Rotherham - York City to win @11/5 [PaddyPower] York City won the last two games (away at Torquay 0-3 and at home to Portsmouth 4-2). Rotherham are doing well in League 1 sitting in the 9th place 7 points behind the leaders Leyton Orient. Rotherham manager said that he will make 5 changes for this game. York City beat Rotherham 0-1 in the same competition last year and I expect to do so again. I expect Rotherham to try for a back-to-back promotions and that's why I am going for a home win. Alfreton v Chester - over 3,5 goals @29/20 [PaddyPower] I just looked at some stats and this game screams goals. Last 4 home games for Alfreton finished (3-2, 3-1, 1-1 and 3-1). Last 4 away games for Chester finished (2-1, 3-2, 3-1, 0-2). Chester are indeed bad travellers but they they scored at least once in their last 5 away games. Alfreton should win but I expect Chester to score at least one goal. I know this is the wrong tread for Alfreton's game but I wanted to share it with you guys (in case it comes in). :) Total Odds: @264/1 [£5 - returns -£1324] :p

  11. Re: Ligue 2 > October 4th - 7th meatman, I want to thank you!!! I am follow you for a long time now... Hats off to you !!! Respect !!!

  12. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > October 4th & 5th "Crawley Town striker Gary Alexander is available after a three-match suspension and manager Richie Barker has no new injury worries. The Reds, who are unbeaten in five games, won 2-0 on their only previous visit to Bramall Lane in April." - BBC Sport [http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24349354] Crawley to win @15/8 [PaddyPower] Crawley Draw No Bet @6/5 [PaddyPower] Crawley and Draw @4/7 [PaddyPower]

  13. Re: La Liga > October 4th - 6th

This is my first post but I want to offer some points in the Malaga v Osasuna match. Osasuna has lost the last 6 away games if I recall correctly and they conceded at least 2 goals at each of those games. Malaga scored at least 2 goals against opponents except against Real Sociedad. Malaga for the Win and to score at least 2. I don't have the option to bet the team total points on 5dimes but will bet for Malaga ML
    :welcome
  14. Re: Bundesliga II > October 4th - 7th "Kaiserlautern have hit a nice patch of form and are full of confidence"... What do you mean by "nice patch of form"? In the last 8 games they won 3, drawn 2 and lost 3. Their away form is just terrible: in the last 4 away games they lost 3 and drawn 1 scoring just one goal (this one was back in July). Arminia Bielefeld have won 4, drawn 2 and lost 2 in the last 8 games. Their home record is not bad: in the last 4 home games they drawn 2 and won the last 2. They scored 10 goals in the last 4 home games. I don't understand why Kaiserslautern are favourites to win it. The odds for them to win are @10/11 - way too short !!! One interesting point to consider is that Arminia have scored 88% of their goals in the second half so Arminia to come from behind and win at @14/1 looks good. Also, Arminia to win the 2nd Half @11/4 [PaddyPower] 2nd Half with Most goals @Evens [PaddyPower] Arminia to score 2 or more goals @15/8 [PaddyPower] This is based only on stats. :unsure

  15. Re: La Liga > October 4th - 6th Villarreal v Granada - Both To Score @5/6 [PaddyPower] Villarreal conceded at least one goal in every home game so far this season. Granada scored two against Osasuna, one against Celta Vigo and drew 0-0 away to Betis. I wanted to go for over 2,5 goals which is available at @8/11 [PaddyPower] but Both To Score looks to be a better option - and better odds.
